We are growing our own okra again this year, so, Lord willing, we will freeze a bunch for later. Beulan Alexander, our neighbor, gave us home grown cucumbers Tuesday evening. Buelan is an expert at catching and dispatching skunks.

We do have a nice family of skunks living under the front porch. They have gotten so used to us that they wander about while we are standing there trembling. I have to help them find a new home, so if any readers want to entertain some lovely pole cats, just drop by, and we will show you where to grab them. I am told that if you grab them and hold their tails down, they cannot spray. My problem is, what happens when you let go?

25 The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
26 The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace
