EXPLODE?
This story is going around among those who do not believe in a Pre-Tribulation Rapture of the Lord's Church. This kind of event would definitely be a sign and wonder, so it is either a hoax, or the Rapture will come before it happens. The idea is that evil men will blow up Jupiter. Up front, please note the following:
1. God does not need the help of evil men, nor will He give credit to them for apocalyptic events.2. Satan will not do such signs and wonders and share them with NASA or let NASA initiate them.
3. As ling as I am here, the above options will not happen. This is not because of my influence, but God has made it very clear that the Son of Perdition does NOT play with the human race's minds until the Holy Spirit is gone.

In the light of the above truth, we can rest at total peace that, either we will be out of here and never see the following tale of woe enacted, or we will stay and the forces of evil will not be able to realize their plans. So, why put this up here? Answer: It is basically heresy, and you better treat it that way. This wide eyed terror foisted on the Lord's Church, and on the gullible lookie loos of the world who want the Sci-Fi hubris of Mother Goose prophetic discussions, is evil and dishonors the Lord who gave Truth in the His Word. You, when you fall for this drivel, also dishonor the good mind God gave you. Beware.

The science of these prophecy gurus below is grossly defective in one particular. There is not reason to believe that Jupiter would burn. I gather that there is no oxygen on the planet, which is needed for combustion. And helium will not burn under any circumstances. That was impressed richly upon the human race by the Hindenburg. Never again did the world make a passenger balloon with hydrogen as the lifting gas. Helium is the gas of choice now. Helium is the most basic element, and so no amount of tricks will break it on down through combustion, not even on Jupiter dear groupies. The Second Law of Thermodynamics trashes that section of the following discussion. Also, every opportunity has been given for the hydrogen on Jupiter to explode with all the meteorites which enter its atmosphere. About all the Galileo goodie NASA sent up to Jupiter will do is to pollute the planet with radioactivity. I get so tired of this ghastly use of alleged "science" by the saints.
I appreciate the Ahos sending us this material, and I gather they are not very impressed either.

The next Jupiter/Saturn conjunction is scheduled for May 27, 2000 and this conjunction will not occur again for another 20 years. According to an official NASA FAQ, the future of the spacecraft Galileo is uncertain:

It seems reasonable to posit that the spacecraft may impact Jupiter during the May 27 conjunction, by NASA's design and/or Satanic agency, and thereby produce the heavenly sign awaited by New Agers. Astrologer/author Rick Levine is typical of those who will herald it as another Star of Bethlehem sent by God to validate a new Christ.

Jupiter explodes
I just just got through reading the Jupiter explodes article and I noticed that you make some assumptions about why Jupiter cannot burn. First I will say that I don't believe Jupiter can burn either, but for different reasons.
You make the mistake of assuming they are talking about combustion, in which case you would be correct. But they are not talking about combustion they are talking about fusion. Fusion is the process the sun works on. This is where hydrogen atoms collide under tremendous pressure and heat to produce helium and other atoms. In the process this creates an enormous amount of energy, oxygen is not required. Helium can also fuse and create energy. In the periodic table all elements below Iron can be fused to create energy, but those above Iron cannot be fused to create energy, energy is needed to get them to fuse this is usually caused by super-novas and such.
Iron is the end of the line in a normal star. Atomic helium can be fused with an atomic hydrogen to produce lithium, or helium can be fused with another helium to produce beryllium, and on it goes until you get iron. Each time you go higher in the periodic table it takes a higher temperature and more pressure to get things to fuse, and less energy is produced as a result. A normal start cannot produce the temperature and pressure to produce anything heavier then iron. Things higher in the periodic table than iron are only produced when a star explodes, as in a nova or super nova.
In the case of Jupiter, scientists currently believe that fusion is already going in Jupiter on a small scale, it already emits twice as much energy as it gets. Jupiter doesn't produce enough energy to light up, just enough to make make the core warm enough to keep the current fusion process going. What these zealots are trying to accomplish is to step up the fusion process on Jupiter and create a second sun. They are hoping that an atomic explosion will intensify the fusion process (a hydrogen bomb works on a similar principle) in a small area and then spread to light up the entire planet.
According to some of Nasa's own calculations Jupiter doesn't have the mass to create the amount of pressure needed to get enough fusion going to light Jupiter up. The best they can do is get Jupiter to glow a little then Jupiter will settle back down to its current production of energy.
Personally I think these guys are nuts. If Jupiter is going to be made to do more then it currently does, the only one capable of doing it is God. Man doesn't have the scientific know how to light up something as big as Jupiter. We have a hard enough time just lighting up our cities.
By the way I love your web site. It is refreshing to hear someone speak out for the truth. I too believe that the kjv is the only athoritive Bible. Ever since the courts have ruled that a translation of the Bible can be copyrighted for profit I cannot bring myself to trust any of the newer translations.
