THE SECOND RELIGION
& CULTURAL DIVERSITY CONFERENCE,
MELBOURNE, JULY 1997.

By an observer on the scene--

REPORT NUMBER ONE

==================================================================================

THE ONE WORLD CHURCH IS HERE!

"And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious  stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of adominations and filthiness of her  fornication: And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE  MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. And I saw the woman drunken  with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus:" (Revelation 17:4-6).

The three day conference which I attended in Melbourne, as a delegate, this July, 28-30, was an experience of a  life-time for me! The sheer shock of that gathering is with me day and night - it will take time to come back to  "normal". In our own country, political and religious leaders from across the globe, and Australia, gathered to  confer on the global intentions of the New Age - the dignitaries in Australia this July were truly remarkable.

MAURICE STRONG, New Age leader who headed the NWO Earth Summit, was in Australia;  the Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr. George Carey was in Melbourne to open the Multicultural Conference;  Cardinal Francis Arinze, tipped by many to be the next Pope of the Catholic Church, was at the Religious  Conference in Melbourne.

The Governor General of Australia, Sir William Deane, was in attendance at The Religion and Cultural  Diversity Conference in Melbourne.  Many political big names gathered there also.  A profusion of religious leaders came together,  Anglican and Catholic Archbishops in purple and scarlet,

Buddhists in saffron robes,

Islamic leaders,

Greek Orthodox priests,

Jewish Rabbis,

Quaker leaders,

World Vision representatives,

Salvation Army officers,

Uniting Church ministers,

the Church of Christ was represented - many others. (A list can be sent of presenters and delegates for those interested...will be Online soon)

The Australian Multicultural Foundation, executive director, Mr Hass Dellal, the President/Moderator of the  World Council on Religion and Peace, took a lead role in the three day and two night conference. We were given  a glamorous cocktail reception at Parliament House on the Monday night!

The actual program planning committee comprised:

The Hon.Sir James Gobbo AC, the Governor of Victoria  (Then Chairman of the Australian Multicultural Foundation 1988 - April 1997);  Mr B.(Hass) Dellal OAM, Australian Multicultural Foundation;  Dr. John Bodycomb OAM, World Conference on Religion and Peace Australia; Professor Desmond Cahill, Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology; Dr Fiona Hill, World Conference on Religion and Peace Australia; Rev. John Baldock (1996), World Conference on Religion and Peace.

Supporting sponsors were:

Victorian Multicultural Commission, the National Australian Bank, The University of Melbourne and the State Government of Victoria.

Members and Signatories of the Australian Multicultural Foundationinclude:

The Hon.Mr John Howard MP (Prime Minister of Australia) and the Hon. Mr Kim Beazley MP (leader of the Opposition).

NEW AGE.

The New Age international organizations "Conflict Resolution Network" and "Unity and Diversity Council"  took centre stage during proceedings. The conference finished on the recommendation that we should all listen to  one another, those in other religions, and we should all listen to the NEW AGE! Perhaps the strange spiritual  darkness of that conference can be grasped in the "Prayer of Togetherness" at the Religion and Cultural Diversity  Conference Dinner. The lights were dimmed, there was only the illumination of one candle at each table,  approximately 250 dignitaries and delegates bowed together, to the words of this "prayer":

"Let us focus on the candle, the small quivering fire the light in the darkness, the call to  evening prayer, the call to thanksgiving.....for our togetherness for our unity, as sons and  daughters of the earth in this vast and ancient land, this sacred soil of the Dreamtime.

In the presence of the ineffable Other, the Holy Being of Infinity, the Numinous Beyond, the  One and the Ultimate, the Alpha and the Omega, the Unknown and the Unknowable, Lord of  the Cosmos, Centre of Creation God, the God of power and righteousness. We pray to you in  the immensity and grandeur of the world (et al)."

NO RELIGION KNOWS GOD.

As the above prayer shows, the conference speakers were in total agreement that no religion knows God, that  God is unknowable! These religious "holy men" agreed that God was the "unknown" and "unknowable", and these were presented as the Godly leaders of the new global spirituality which will unite the planet in the next Millennium.

How remarkable this is! Yet a simple believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, regenerated, washed in the Blood of the  Lamb, sitting in their midst, can cry from a heart filled with gratitude- I KNOW GOD, through my relationship with the Precious Saviour Jesus Christ, God's Son.

The prayer above shows how far away Australia is, in the 1990s, to the reality of the Lord Jesus Christ as the Only Son of God, who came to die for the sin of the world on Calvary's Cross. God is now no longer even knowable,

He is just the impersonal energy of the earth, Lord of the Cosmos, Cosmic "Christ", the Rainbow Serpent of the  aboriginal Dreamtime.

NO RELIGION CAN CLAIM ABSOLUTISM.

The conference's saw the one cardinal sin of any religion as being ABSOLUTISM. There was general consensus that all religions tended to believe that they held absolute Truth, and that all others were relative to them. This was  decried as pride, refusal to embrace others, separatism which tended towards war-like aggression, bigotry and spiritual blindness. The religious leaders of Islam, Baha'i, the Quakers, Catholic and Anglican priests, Buddhists and all the rest of the eclectic crew sat passively, showing veneer accord at any rate. The atmosphere was "loving", "harmonious", people mixed together with overt graciousness and intention to sink their differences. Sadly, the New Age globalists have sinister plans for them all, just over the horizon.

INTERFAITH INSTRUCTION MUST TAKE PLACE.

The predominate recommendation was that Interfaith training and dialogue (or indoctrination?) must be embraced by all religions. No exemptions. This is mandatory, political, religious syncretism as international law!

A bishop from Perth enlarged upon this indoctrination to me personally, as we chatted over mouth-watering savouries at Parliament House. He was thrilled with the concept of a "well" of spirituality in all religions, which, if one delved deep enough, would show that we all have basically the same faith and the same God. The conference declared a "spark of God" in every man, a "well of faith" in all faiths.

The bishop then went on to affirm his belief in the apostate teachings of the New Age teacher, Matthew Fox, and Jungian psychology. How wonderful it was for me to know that the True "well" is the One who declares Himself to be the Fountain of Life, the Living Water, and who told the woman at the well that she would thirst no more if she drank from Himself, Jesus Christ, the Water of Life. Here is the One True and Unique "Well".

"These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever." (11 Peter 2:17).

"But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst: but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life." (John 4:14).

PARLIAMENT HOUSE.

At Parliament House in Melbourne, I spoke with two high level priests of the Anglican church, Archbishop Peter Hollingworth, who is a committee member of the New World Order's Commission for the Future, and the Assist.Bishop of Perth, David Murray - both are avid followers of the New Age ex-Dominican Matthew Fox. Fox who teaches that there was no Fall, no Redemption, and celebrates earth worship, adores "Mother Nature", embraces occultism and believes in mass murder by the "shrinking" of the population of the earth! Fox who is a friend of the Luciferian David Spangler who advocates that all people on earth should undergo the "Luciferian initiation"!

POLITICAL AND ACADEMICS SPEAK.

The input of the academics and politicians at the World Conference on Religion and Peace in Melbourne was chillingly authoritarian. The clamour for "peace" world-wide has caused them to the take the bait of the New World Order, but peace is far from the minds of these internationalists, in reality. Nevertheless the foolish, ungodly "wise" persons at the WCRP deemed it imperative that all religions be stopped from causing war, massacre and disunity on the planet. Yes, religions were blamed for most of the earth's ills. I attended a workshop titled "Religious Fundamentalisms and Social Cohesion", address by John Bodycomb. Dr John Bodycomb OAM is an ordained "Christian" minister. "He was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia for service to the promotion of religious freedom and fostering ecumenism." He was, until recently, the full-time Chaplain with the University of Melbourne.

Bodycomb's address was before approximately 20 illustrious religious and governmental leaders, which included the Governor of Victoria, Sir James Gobbo, Chairman of the Council of Multicultural Affairs; the Hon.Dame Roma Mitchell, former Governor of South Australia, and former judge of the Supreme Court of S.A.; Reverend Peter Hollingworth, Anglican Archbishop of Brisbane; His Eminence Cardinal Francis Arinze, born in Nigeria, The President of Secretariat for non-Christians and President of the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue, Member of the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian unity, he has worked with UNESCO; and Dr. Adamou Ndam Mjoya, President/Moderator of the World Council on Religion and Peace/International, involved with the United Nations, UNESCO, and the World Centre of Research and Action for the New Ethics, he has held senior positions in the Government of Cameroon and is presently Minister Plenipotentiary.

John Bodycomb centred his address on a quite vicious attack, it appeared to me, on Christian Fundamentalist, because he stated that he was after all a Christian himself, and understood this form of religious fundmentalism better than others. Some of the remarks were "acted" out in a most offence manner, to myself as a Bible-based, Christ-honouring Christian. Why was I there, you might ask? How did I come to be in this amazing conference? It was by invitation only, only 350 people in Australia were invited. I was invited! Possibly because we, as an investigative organisation, had written for material to WCRP a number of times, they obviously thought we were of the inner-circle, on their team.

The following quotes come from the address by John Bodycomb, a number of other offensive remarks were made, but they are not on the notes, they were ad lib:

"I have four main points. The first is that religion per se is not inherently bad or good. Archbishop Hollingworth, in the foreword to Professor Ian Plimer's book, "Telling Lies for God" (which is about so-called 'creation science') says 'Just as there is good and bad science, so there is good and bad religion.'

This is why I cannot allow that religious freedom is an 'absolute' right. I am a passionate supporter of religious freedom, but boundaries are drawn where what is believed and/or practised has demonstrably adverse effects on the wellbeing of individuals or on the good order of society....Bad religion can sanctify the worst in us; justify what is miserable and dehumanising and utterly unworthy of us...Good religion fosters inclusiveness, justice, equity and well-being for all.

So, what do we mean by this word 'fundamentalism'? As commonly used today, it is a pejorative (derogatory) term, as is the word 'cult'...Anyone we regard as blindly dogmatic becomes a 'fundamentalist'. That has not always been the case. The original 'fundamentalism was a movement early this century among Protestant Christians in the USA. It was in essence a reaction to what was labelled and denounced as 'modernism'. Modernism accepted scientific modes of explanation, including the great age of the cosmos and the theory of evolution.

It is that all fundamentalisms reflect a fear that something precious is about to be lost...Mary Jo Weaver, (professor of religious studies and women's studies at Indiana University) says, 'Fundamentals all over the world FIGHT...they fight BACK in a reactive way; for the victory of a particular worldview; fight AGAINST enemies within the group or outside it; fight WITH a chosen repertoire of sources (usually located in the past); and fight UNDER God or some other transcendent reference."

Common to all is fear, and this fear is motivation for the 'fight'...fundamentals resist modernity, they do not fear technology; they use modern technology unashamedly and effectively. Nor do they fear politics. ...'they use public forum, improve their rhetoric, and line up political forces - or even resort to militancy - to gain their ends.'

They (the fundamental Christians) are not afraid of science. The creationist movement in Christianity embraces science like the ANACONDA, squeezes it to fit with the preconceptions of fundamentalism - even if this means selectively ignoring some data and falsifying other data. (Here Dr Bodycomb twisted himself into the form of a snake, to make his point visual).

...fundamentalists do not fear scorn. As Marty puts it, 'they do not see themselves as being misfits or out of step, agents of a rearguard. Instead, they wish to be regarded as advancing alternatives which, if unpopular, only reveal the corruption of an unaccepting world.'" (end of quote).

Dr Bodycomb went on to list his observations on Christian fundamentalism. He called those who believe the fundamentals of the Bible, and embrace creationism, "mean-spirited", " [those who ignore] parts of scripture which are not easily reconcilable with their doctrinal position", "authoritarian, dictatorial and sometimes quite terrifyingly powerful", "discourages independent thinking", "brandishing their floppy bibles like weapons", "careful study, especially of scripture can lead people away from fundamentalist positions." Off the cuff, Bodycomb called Bible-based Christians, "violent", "aggressive", "pathological", "dangerous", similar to those who have caused the religious wars in Ireland and Bosnia. A threat to world peace, fundamentalist, creationist, these "separationist" were denounced in every way possible! Remember, this was before the illustrious political and religious leaders of the globe and Australia who were present.  (Yes, Pauline Hanson was given many mentions during the conference as well).

The attack from Bodycomb finished with these words of derision:

"...it is characteristic of Christian fundamentalism to adopt an isolated and socially divisive position. Texts in scripture like 'come ye apart': and 'be not unequally yoked with unbelievers' are beloved of fundamentalists; these define the true believer's position not only vis-a-vis the world, but vis-a-vis other churches and religions. Most fundamentalism is an expression of what we call 'tribalism'.

...Christian fundamentalism tends to provide support for those tendencies in the larger society to be authoritarian, punitive and exclusivist ---incontradistinction to the values of openness, graciousness and conviviality. Those who would bring back corporal punishment to our schools, restore the death penalty for certain offences, and marginalise those who are not like 'us', often draw a subtle support from fundamentalism, and sometimes it is not so subtle..." (end of quote).

Also present at Bodycomb's work group was a previous presenter, Professor Des Cahill, Professor of Intercultural Studies, RMIT, who had addressed us on Education for Understanding in his own work group. A Catholic (there was a large Catholic delegation) Cahill had also blasted "fundamental" Bible-based Christians, and Christian, Bible-based schooling. He had previously called such church and school leaders "anti-semitic", "anti-catholic" and "child-abusers". Present at most addresses were Jewish Rabbis, including Senior Rabbi John Levi AM, Temple Beth Israel, Victoria.

When John Bodycomb ended his tirade, comments from the small gathering were called for. As a delegate, I rose and spoke these words (as close as I can recall):

"I charge this conference with vilification against Bible-based Christians; hatred, lack of understanding of this group's position; bigotry; no grace; aggression towards others; militancy and violent behaviour; persecution of a religious group; refusal to allow religious freedom, and intolerance.

I charge Archbishop Bishop Hollingworth with unsuitable behaviour, in this land which claims to want religious peace and harmony, with disgraceful conduct in supporting Professor Plimer in his seeking to prosecute a religion by taking Creation Science to court, in a public forum, because they believe and teach the Creation Story of their own Sacred Book, the Bible. I charge Archbishop Hollingworth with seeking to vilify the Creation Story of a religion, not another religion, but one he claims to be his own.

There is more bigotry and religious persecution against Bible-believing Christians in Australia than there is against the Jews or the Islamic people. Yet you say you want "peace and harmony" amongst the religions."

Archbishop Hollingworth replied at length, declaring that the Bible did not teach Creationism as Creation Science, a Bible-based group in Australia, teaches. This was denied by myself, and it was pointed out that the Bible does teach that God created the heavens and the earth, and nowhere did it teach evolution, which all present seemed to have accepted as "scientific".

Cardinal Francis Arinze came to the microphone and supported the rights of all religions to believe and teach their own creation stories, and to stand by the fundamentals of their own Sacred Books - including Bible-based Christians! He declared that the word "fundamental" was meaningless and less than useful. It was decided ( mainly by Arinze) that the word should not be used to vilify others. This was declared in the Conference Summary before the whole gathering.

Archbishop Hollingworth apologised for the offence he had given to others in regard to his creationist beliefs; and John Bodycomb also apologised for his words which were seen as militant, aggressive and intolerant by myself.

There was much talk at the conference about regarding the "sacred books" of religions as precious resources and "beautiful words." The myths of the aboriginal Dreamtime, as a creation story, was regarded as spiritually alive, wise beyond science etc. Publications on the book tables spoke of the Dreamtime myths as being analogous to Genesis chapter one. The fact is, if these Interfaith 'scholars' attack one creation "story" they attack the others!

Strange outcome this. And if other religions are declared to have "freedom", then these people cannot show their own inconsistency by vilifying ANY religion. (In public at any rate).

FUNDAMENTALIST ATTACKED THROUGHOUT.

There were many attacks on "fundamentalists" at the conference. The Governor General of Australia even came into battle against these "separationists". Cardinal Arinze, who has links with the Moslems, Jordan, the World Moslem League and Turkey, also had severe criticism of those who demand that their religion is "superior" to others, and want their countries to have "one religion". We live in a "global village" Arinze insisted, we should have "Unity and Diversity".

RUDDOCK SPEAKS.

The Hon. Philip Ruddock MP, Minister for Immigration and Multicultural Affairs, addressed the entire assembly, he said:

"in February...I met with the United Nations Special Rapporteur on Religious Tolerance, Mr Abdelfattah Amor during his visit to this country at the invitation of the Australian Government. His role at the UN is to assess the situation of human rights and specifically examine incidents and Government actions which are inconsistent with the provisions of the Declaration on the Elimination of all Forms of Intolerance and of Discrimination based on Religion or Belief."

THE GOVERNOR GENERAL, SIR WILLIAM DEANE, SPEAKS.

"The cultures and traditions of the original inhabitants of our continent stretch back into the Dreamtime of 60,000 years ago. When the first Europeans arrived in 1788 to establish a militarily-run penal settlement, they made little sustained effort to understand the nature or the content of those cultures and traditions or the strength of the bonds between the indigenous peoples and their land or territory. Nor was there any real understanding of the extent to which indigenous belief in the supernatural enriched the lives of the Aborigines...

This afternoon is not an occasion for me to become involved in a debate about what can and cannot be characterised as 'a religion'. I would, however, venture the view that, if one accepts - as Theravada Buddhism demonstrates and the highest court in this country has held - that one can have a religion which is not based on the relationship with a particular deity, it would seem clear enough that not only cultures but also the first religions of our land were those of the indigenous peoples.

...Today, it can truly be said not only that, apart from Aborigines and Torres Strait Islanders, we Australians are all immigrants or descended from immigrants....

The theme and sub-themes of this Conference focus on the challenge and responsibility of best exploiting the advantages, while avoiding the pitfalls, of religious and cultural diversity at both national and international levels." (End of quotes).

WHAT IS THE WORLD CONFERENCE (COUNCIL) ON RELIGION AND PEACE?

A quote here from Cornelius R.Ferreira will enlighten the reader:

"One of the long-standing goals of the Masonic New World Order seems finally within grasp: its one-world church, in the making for over 150 years, is about to become institutionalised as the United Religions Organisation - the UR. Collaborating on the details are Bishop William Swing of the Episcopal (USA for Anglican) Diocese of California; the Communist Gorbachev Foundation/USA; and certain leaders of the Catholic Church, working through the interreligious organisation known as the World Conference of Religion and Peace.

Plans for the formation of the UR were first revealed by Bishop Swing at the syncretic service held to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of the signing of the United Nations Charter.  Attending the service in San Francisco's Grace Episcopal Cathedral on June 25, 1995, were representatives of all religions as well as political and spiritual luminaries like Princess Margaret of Britain, Anglican Archbishop Desmond Tutu of South Africa, the president Lech Walesa of Poland and UN Secretary-General Boutros Boutros Ghali.

One might ask why a religious service (of sorts - it was permeated with consciousness-raising politics) was held to mark the founding of a political group. The answer is that INTERFAITH religiosity is now a must for important social and cultural events, especially those involving world figures, as this gives credibility and form to the concept of a ONE-WORLD religion and community."

SAN FRANCISCO CHOSEN AS HEADQUARTERS.

The event held in Melbourne this July, 1997, under the umbrella of WCRP and the Multicultural Foundation, is not an isolated religious happening, which only wants "peace" "harmony" and "tolerance". It is an internationally planned event, under the headship of the New World Order for the forming of a One-World Church. Behind the scenes lurks Henry Kissinger, the Bilderbergers, The Committee of Three Hundred, the Rockefeller brothers - and let us not forget Maurice Strong, who just "happened" to be in Sydney at the same time as the conference! Did the Archbishop of Canterbury meet with Strong when he just "happened" to be in Sydney when he left Melbourne?

I should think it impossible to believe otherwise!

Who is Strong?

He is the New Age international leader who has an 10,000 acres Interfaith/political centre in Baca Grande, USA, where all the religions meet with the New World Order elitists. Henry Kissenger, the Rockefellers, Madeleine  Allbright, Bill Clinton, Al Gore - and all the others meet there.

THE ONE-WORLD CHURCH IS EXPECTED TO OPERATE FROM THIS JUNE,1997.

According to UR literature, the United Religions Organisation (UR) had the launching of its written charter this June, 1997. The institution should be fully in place by June 2000, and globally operational by June, 1905. The headquarters will be at the Presidio, the former military base in San Francisco, USA. Ferreira informs us that the UR is patterned after the UN, it has a General Assembly, a Security Council and a Secretary-General, "the UR is meant to be for religions what the UN is for nations". THE GLOBAL ETHIC.

The intent to get into Australian society the GLOBAL ETHIC was evident at the Melbourne WCRP gathering.  All the way along, through the conference, the naive delegates were confronted with the responsibility of making judgements, contributing ideas and spiritual inspiration for an Australian Ethic. However, it was clear to this observer that HANS KUNG'S and LEONARD SWINDLER'S GLOBAL ETHIC would be trotted out eventually. I was not disappointed. Towards the end of the proceedings, the Global Ethic was cited as a wonderful example of a unified ethical tenet which could be followed in Australia. When I challenged about the lack of even the mention of God in the Global Ethic, it was gratifying to find that others there were grateful to have this pointed out to them. However, what "god" would this represent anyway, if a "god" was added to an Australian Ethic?

There were a least a dozen "deities" representated at WCRP. There was much talk of a "global theology" being compiled, said as though it was a spontaneous thought that had arisen during discussions. Not so - the New World Order has already decided what that "global theology" will be - worship of Gaia Mother Earth included!

In October 1996, the second State of the World Forum, at which the UR was presented to the globe, the Global Ethic was basically decided upon. Hans Kung, a Catholic theologian, is the chief compiler of that Ethic. He said to the UN in 1991: "religions must...work with world outlooks that are not religious but that propose views on the deep meaning of life and ethics for living." The global ethic "must center on both man and universe so that HUMANISTIC and religious precepts are included."

Cont'd ....... Report 1 part 2.

WHAT IS HAPPENING IN AUSTRALIA AND THE WORLD?

The meeting this July in Melbourne appeared to be loving, tolerant, beautiful and religious. What we saw there was Satan appearing as an angel of light! To me, as a student of Biblical prophecy, it was as though I was looking into the very face of the Antichrist, as he spread his awesome deceptions amongst the spiritually dead! Pray for our country - religious persecution cannot be far away now! We ALL must undergo Interfaith dialogue and "education", we ALL must accept other religions as having the truth, and accept that Christ Jesus is just another version of the unknowable God. No born-again person could ever agree to such dishonour to the Lord, or accept such blasphemy - yet this will soon be our laws under the United Nations.

His Eminence Cardinal Francis Arinze said in his opening address:

"What are we going to do with the people in the world who are willing to die for their faith?"

He was speaking of the imperative of accepting all religions as truth, all gods as the same god. What will they do indeed, for there is but One who died on the Cross for the sin of the world; One alone who is the Son of God; One alone who is uniquely the Way, the Truth and the Life. GOD has said,

"I am the Lord thy God...thou shalt have none other gods before me". "The first of all the commandments is...the Lord thy God is one Lord;" "O Lord, there is none like thee, neither is there any God beside thee..."

"For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many)

But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him." (1 Cor.8:5-6).

SINISTER FORCES AT WORK!

Let us finish on a sober note, from the investigative writing of Cornellius Ferreira:

" The importance of the World Conference on Religion and Peace was ... underscored when the Vatican hosted the first session of its sixth general assembly in November, 1994. The conference theme was "Healing the World: Religions for Peace". This was the first time an official interfaith conference had been convened at the Holy See.

In his opening address, the  Pope told the 900 representatives of the world's religions assembled in the Synod Hall that  religious leaders must clearly show that they are pledged to the promotion of peace" and religions must "engage in a promotion of peace" and religions must "engage in a dialogue of mutual understanding and peace on the basis of the values they share." He ended by remarking, "The Vatican is open to you. I hope you all return soon."

Beside the many non-Christian speakers, the conference featured Fr.Gustavo Gutierrez, one of the founders of Liberation Theology (Christianized Marxism); the President of the ROCKEFELLER Foundation (WHICH PROVIDED FINANCING); Hans Kung, a WCRP international president. discredited by the Pope as a Catholic theologian, but called to present his global ethic (the Assembly sub-theme was "Isolation and Indifference: Searching for a Global Ethic"); and Cardinal Martini of Milan, who is friendly towards Masonry, who wants another Vatican Council to reconsider women's ordination... and who is promoting himself as the next Pope.

Also speaking were Roger Cardinal Etchegaray, President of the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace, and Francis Cardinal ARINZE, President of the PontificaL Council for Interreligious DIALOGUE. CARDINAL ETCHEGARAY, AIDED by the WCRP, was the chief organiser of the first Assissi interreligious prayer meeting in 1986."

Who was this "Cardinal Arinze" who "graced" our shores in Australia this July, 1997? He is a World Adviser to the United Nations', New World Order's syncretic WORLD THANKSGIVING SQUARE in Dallas, Texas. He also is considered by many, many people to be the front-runner in the race to succeed Pope John Paul 11.

FROM THE MELBOURNE AGE, Tuesday 29th July:

"The Archbishop of Canterbury. Dr George Carey, says Mass for Melbourne students at St Paul's Cathedral. He also addressed the first Religion and Cultural Diversity Conference in Melbourne, saying the issue was 'one of the most important questions the human family has to grapple with.'... the Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr George Carey, and one of the leaders of the Catholic church, Cardinal Francis Arinze, urged religions to work together to overcome intolerance, particularly racism....

Cardinal Arinze,...backed the Archbishop's comments. Cardinal Arinze, who is tipped by many to be the next pope, said living in harmony required the cooperation of religious leaders and  policy makers....The conference, which was attended by more than 250 international religious leaders and scholars, ends tomorrow."

THE GUIDELINES FOR INTERRELIGIOUS UNDERSTANDING:

The April 1996 issue of "Fellowship in Prayer", had Thomas Keating's (OCSO) article "Guidelines for Interreligious Understanding". A Roman Catholic Priest, Keating's article contains revealing data on the united "spirituality" of a variety of world's religions - Buddhist, Tibetan Buddhist, Hindu, Jewish, Islamic, Native American, Russian Orthodox, Protestant, and Roman Catholic.

This data was gathered after several united religious meetings over a number of years. The religious leaders were in agreement on eight points, under the heading of ULTIMATE REALITY. I have listed seven, as given in "Foundation", May/June,1996:

1. The world religions bear witness to the experience of Ultimate reality to which they give various names: Brahman, Allah, Absolute, God, Great Spirit.

2. Ultimate Reality cannot be limited to any name or concept.

3. Faith is the opening, accepting and responding to Ultimate Reality. Faith in this sense precedes every belief system.

4. The potential for human wholeness - or in other frames of reference, enlightenment, salvation, transformation, blessedness, nirvana - is present in every human person.

5. Ultimate Reality may be experienced not only through religious practices but also through nature, art, human relationships, and service of others.

6. As long as human condition is experienced as separate from Ultimate Reality, it is subject to ignorance and illusion, weakness and suffering.

7. Prayer is communion with Ultimate Reality, whether it is regarded as personal, impersonal or beyond them both. (end of quote).

In following reports from Despatch magazine, the list above will be dealt with in depth.

"Neither is there any salvation in any other (Christ Jesus): for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." (Acts 4:12).

ON A FINAL NOTE:

The time when Jesus Christ calls His Bride home cannot be far away. If the Lord tarries, we can expect in Australia the unleashing of international persecution against all those who refuse to bow the knee to the combined religions of the Antichrist. Where will you stand, beloved of God?

"Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom,  and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing." (Rev.5:12).

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,  that whosever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting ife." (John 3:16).

ARE YOU SAVED, READER?

Here are the simple steps to Life in Christ Jesus:

1. Admit you are a sinner, and repent before a Holy God. (Romans 3:23).

2. Accept the Sacrifice of Christ on the Cross as your only hope of salvation (Romans 5:8; 6:23).

3. Take Eternal Life in Christ as a free gift from God, not by your own works (Ephesians 2:8-9).

4. By God's enabling, seek to live for God forever, trusting in His grace and mercy alone (Ephesians 2:10).

Jesus said: " I am the way, the truth and the life;  no man cometh unto the father but by me." Jn.14:6

REPORT NUMBER TWO

What is the hidden New World Order agenda behind WCRP?

What is the "indigenous peoples" treachery?

"Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his Anointed saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision." (Psalm 2:1-4).

The Religion and Cultural Diversity Conference dealt with in my first report was much more than a mere Multicultural Foundation "peace" and "harmony" assembly. Although there was a gentle, caring ambience at the three day meeting which might deceive the ingenuous, the goals and agenda of the New World Order of the New Age were in overwhelming evidence to the discerning. The beautiful face of evil can be presented very attractively.

Christians, who are true believers, need to grasp the significance of what happened at the World Conference on Religion and Peace held in Melbourne.  Reading from the official program we find these words:

"The Australian Multicultural Foundation gratefully acknowledge the assistance given by the WORLD CONFERENCE ON RELIGION AND PEACE..."

WHAT IS THIS ORGANISATION, WCRP, AND WHAT IS ITS AGENDA?

We will start our investigation of WCRP with quotes from William Norman Grigg and Cornelia R.Ferreira:

"A 'UN of Religions?'...September/October 1994 issue of The Futurist.

In an essay entitled 'Temples of Tomorrow: Toward a United Religions Organisation,' Richard Kirby of the World Network of Religious Futurists and the Late Earl D.C. Brewer wrote that 'Religions are now headed toward what may eventually form a United Religions Organisation (URO), structured in much the same way as the United Nations and sharing the same goals.' Once the URO is created, they predict, it will be given the task of creating a 'New Covenant' for the planet: 'The URO...will discern the nature of that covenant, and with it the responsibilities , rather than the rights, of planetary citizenship."  [Emphasis added] In other words, these paid prophets of the new world order would be called upon to help keep restive religionists in line."

("Freedom on the Altar", William Norman Grigg, American Opinion Pub. p.182).

"One of the long-standing goals of the Masonic New World Order seems finally within its grasp: its one-world church, in the making for over 150 years, is about to become institutionalised as the United Religions Organisation - the UR. Collaborating on the details are Bishop William Swing of the Episcopal Diocese of California; the Communist Gorbachev Foundation/USA; and certain leaders of the Catholic Church, working through the interreligious organisation known as the WORLD CONFERENCE ON RELIGION AND PEACE." (Emphasis added). (Cornelia Ferreira, "One-World Church Expected Next Year", paper written in 1996).

MULTI-DEITY WORSHIP AND WCRP.

At the Melbourne conference, unified prayer rooms were made available for delegates from the Baha'i, Quakers, Church of Christ, Moslems, Buddists, Salvation Army, Catholic churches and centres, Anglican, many more, where prayers, chants and incantations were offered to a dozen "deities".

What, you may well query, were political and academic leaders doing at such a religious gathering? People like The Hon Philip Ruddock MP; Dr. Juliet Sheen an independent human rights consultant, who works with the United Nations; Alan Matheson AM, the International Officer of the Australian Council of Trade Unions; Professor Alan Gilbert Vice-Chancellor of the University of Melbourne; Noor Dean a solicitor, a former member of the deposed Fijian Government; Professor Desmond Cahill, professor of Intercultural Studies at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology - and Ron Burke General Manager Corporate Relations for the National Australia Bank Group, and others. Interfaith religiosity has become the epoxy which will unite the neo-pagan world under the NWO, it is the Body of the formless One World political power. Interfaith religiosity gives credibility, humanity, warmth to a cold-hearted killer regime, and masks its intentions. It is now politically correct in this one-world community to embrace interfaith religion. It is an absolute must for important political and social events, not only here but globally.

URO - WCRP - RELIGION AND CULTURAL DIVERSITY CONFERENCE.

Since the URO and WCRP and RCDC are all "the same horse different riders" we need to go to the source - URO. Formation of the URO was back in 1995, as Ferreira writes: "Plans for the formation of the UR were first revealed by Bishop Swing at the syncretic service held to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of the signing of the United Nations Charter. Attending the service in San Francisco's Grace Episcopal Cathedral on June 25, 1995, were representatives of all religions as well as political and spiritual luminaries like Princess Margaret of Great Britain, Anglican Archbishop Desmond Tutu of South Africa, then-President Lech Walesa of Poland and (then) UN Secretary-General Boutros Boutros-Ghali." (p.1. ibid).

THE HON PHILIP RUDDOCK SPEAKS AT WCRP MELBOURNE.

The sum-up of the address by Hon Philip Ruddock, MP, Minister for Immigration and Multicultural Affairs, entitled "Public Policy and Religious Diversity - A Government View", gave a good insight into future government policy on religion here. We have regarded Australia as a predominantly Christian country in the past (foolishly), not so in this New Age world. "Tolerance" is a word with a nasty barb in its tail! This is Ruddock's conclusion to his speech:

"From what I have said, I believe that it will be clear that in many quiet but effective ways, governments in Australia are doing a great deal to promote religious tolerance in this nation:

- we do not allow power to be formally vested in any religious organisation;

- we make plain that we will not accept discrimination, and have substantial legislation to prevent it;

- we offer sanctuary to the victims of religious intolerance from other lands, and move to defuse religious conflict that has entered here from overseas; and

- we provide funds and services to assist a wide variety of religious groups, and are pursuing reforms to public service provision to ensure that it meets the needs of all cultures, language groups and religions.

We have come a long way from the old days of migration when the expectation of community and government alike was that newcomers should 'fit in' with Anglo Saxon ways.

So what is the way forward? We now realise that what is important is to foster in all people an overriding commitment to the future of the nation. These days, community and government can best foster this commitment by helping all Australians to feel secure in their future here

- this includes feeling secure in the practice of their own religion

- religious communities themselves could also promote understanding by examining the multicultural composition of their own neighbourhood, the multi-faith character of Australian society, and by encouraging such awareness in the general community.

Anti-racism campaign The Government in turn is committed to maintaining a climate of tolerance: - to underline this, we have announced funding for an anti-racism campaign, and I hope to give out details soon." (End of quote).

SOUNDS GOOD?

The above sounds reasonable to the casual reader. We all want people to be free and secure. But this agenda of the NWO is being implemented global-wide, in every Western nation eventually. Immigration becomes multicultural concerns; multicultural concerns become interfaith; interfaith means the break-down of Christian-dominated cultures; Christian-dominated cultures must give way as being merely "Anglo Saxon ways"; the end result is achieved - a stew-pot of religious One-Mind, with Christianity being de-powered.

THE TEMPLE OF UNDERSTANDING AND THE PARLIAMENT OF WORLD'S RELIGIONS.

The Multicultural event in Australia this July, 1997, was controlled, instigated and indoctrinated by the Temple of Understanding, the Vatican, the Parliament of World's Religions, UNESCO and the UN. How do we know this? Could there be some mistake, if not, could these organisations be benevolent, Christ-honouring, authentic peace-bringers? There is no mistake, Cardinal Francis Arinze from the Vatican had star-billing in Melbourne! The leaflets and handbooks at the conference gave credit to WCRP at all times. The culmination of the event was the engineered determination to establish an "ethic" for Australia, modelled after the Global Ethic, which it was declared was fashioned at the Parliament of World's Religions.

Cardinal Arinze is a World Adviser to the syncretic World Thanksgiving Square of the UN, in Dallas Texas. But, says a "tolerant" voice, could these be good organisations, maybe they do want "peace" "harmony" and "religious freedom". Not so, tolerant voice! At the Carlton Crest hotel, where the conference was held, it was surprising to find a whole suite of "United Nations" rooms! What are these people executing here in Australia?

WHAT IS THE TEMPLE OF UNDERSTANDING?

The Temple of Understanding was funded by such NWO leaders as John D. Rockefeller IV (CFR), socialist leader Norman Thomas, and Robert McNamara (CFR), as shown by Edith Kermit Roosevelt "Temple of Understanding" The Freedom Press, Nov.5, 1962. This quote from Grigg gives the picture:

'The design of the Temple building is suggestive of the worldview which inspired its construction. A pamphlet published by the Temple's corporation prior to the building's completion explains its architectural symbolism : radiating from [the] central hall will extend six wings, each to represent one of the six religions of the world which are international in scope. Hinduism, Judaism, Buddhism, Confucianism, Christianity and Islam.' The central hall is capped by a glass dome shaped like a cut diamond; this dome remains constantly illuminated at night 'in order to indicate, symbolically, that even while the world sleeps, the light of understanding continues to shine.' The priesthood which helped to create and operate the Temple of Understanding is the United Lodge of Theosophists of New York, through the tax exempt Lucis Trust (formerly Lucifer Publishing Company)." (Insert mine). (p.159 ibid).

THE PARLIAMENT OF WORLD'S RELIGIONS

In 1893 the Parliament marked the start of the "interfaith" movement. In his opening address, Dr. John Henry Barrows, who was the chairman of the Parliament, quoted from the devilish Theosophist Madame Helena Blavatsky, and enthused on her desire to bring all religions into "one harmonious whole" and to make these "merge back into their original element". The Theosophical Society was there at the 1893 event, represented by the darling of the New Agers, Annie Besant, who was a worshipper of Lucifer (Satan). Today the Luciferian disciples predominate in the Parliament of World's Religions' hierarchy.

THE VATICAN'S INVOLVEMENT - SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY, 1994.

"Cardinal Francis Arinze...The high-profile cardinal, who issued joyful greetings to Buddhists for their feast of Vessakh on June 1st, is also considered a front-runner in the race to succeed Pope John Paul 11.

The WCRP conference featured prayers and meditation rituals from different religions both at the VATICAN and at the secondary conference site, Riva del Garda. The Pope listened to Koranic verses and Jewish, Shinto, Buddhist and Hindu invocations for peace, said Inside the Vatican. 'The February, 1995, WCRP newsletter reported that the conference's final declaration acknowledged the NEW WORLD COMMUNITY taking place, affirmed the 'sacredness of the earth and our unity with it', and asserted that 'sharing of sacred texts, respectful observance of other religious traditions and participation in common meditation can facilitate mutual enrichment and inspiration.' These are the exact sentiments of the UR, which the WCRP is helping to found." (Ferreira quote ibid, p.5. Emphasis added).

THESE WERE THE EXACT SENTIMENTS OF THE MELBOURNE CONFERENCE.

A few quotes will show that we have in Australia the One World Church, United Religion Organisation, World Conference on Religion and Peace - and the whole neo-pagan syncretism has reached the top levels of our political system! We face LAWS created by these Luciferian Theosophists. Surely the Lord Jesus Christ will soon come to take His true Church home.

Chris Sidoti, Human Rights Commissioner, spoke at the Melbourne Conference, July 1997:

"Those against the introduction of national laws prohibiting discrimination on the grounds of religion or belief typically seem to be of fundamentalist religious persuasions and a demonstrated desire to maintain existing arrangements (the I'm alright Jack attitude) ....A submission from a member of the community that expresses a sentiment that underpins the spirit of the gathering here today....The writer goes on to say:

'A number of years ago I was browsing in a religious bookshop when I came across a book by the controversial Swiss theologian Hans Kung on Judaism which surprised me as he is associated with Catholic doctrine.  Anyway a short quotation on the fly leaf impressed me. I shall provide a rough paraphrase of the quotation below because it is a summation of my own religious philosophy.  (My insert. Here the writer quotes from the man who compiled the New World Order's demonic "Global Ethic")

1. No peace between nations until there is peace between religions.

2. No peace between religions until there is dialogue between religions.

3. No dialogue between religions until there is a recognition of the fundamental essential truths they share in common."

(From the speech. "Free to Believe?: the right to freedom of religion and belief in Australia.")

Can the reader see that there will be NO FREEDOM of religion under these NWO despots? We MUST dialogue or we will be called war-mongering, peace-haters. We will be called those who spoil national and international peace and harmony.

To not "recognise" that all religions have "fundamental essential truths" which they "share in common" is an unacceptable evil in the New World.  In Australia the time has arrived when the freedom to say NO to dialogue, interfaith "training" and unity of worship will be withdrawn. Is this freedom? I think not. It is repression of freedom, the beginning of a black age of tyranny and inquisition under the global masters. Satanic, every one of them. Will that mean we Christians will die for our faith, if not Raptured before hand?

THE ABORIGINAL RECONCILIATION AND LAND RIGHTS ISSUES.

The hidden agenda of the UN and UNESCO, as organs of the NWO, has never been more clever and seditious than through the "indigenous peoples of the globe" propaganda. At the WCRP conference in Melbourne the politically correct hype of the NWO was presented ad nauseum. To understand the religious bombast about the aboriginals is extremely important to Biblical Christians, as we encounter the rhetorical weaponry of this New Age - levelled against us.

1. All white people at WCRP were referred to as "immigrants". When I was personally called this, I declared my "indigenous", inborn citizenship, as a white Australian with ancestors who go back a number of generations.

Since I have never even left these shores in my whole lifetime, never even set foot in Europe, I was not about to be called an "immigrant". These objections fell on deaf ears however. If one is a white Australian, one is an immigrant, according to WCRP and the Multicultural Foundation.

2. The expected "dialogue" between aborigines and white Australians are more dictatorial, unchallengable demands than discussion. Note this quote from a book purchased at the WCRP: "Rainbow Spirit Theology provides a source of genuine dialogue between Aboriginal and immigrant Christians who enjoy a rich life on what was once Aboriginal land." ("Rainbow Spirit Theology" by Rainbow Spirit Elders. Harper Collins Religious Pub.)

3. The intention is to merge the Rainbow Serpent pagan beliefs with Christianity, in order to bring in a political control over Australia.  This is exactly the stratagem in operation in the USA, with the American Indians as the missiles of war.

4. A groundswell of racial anger has been deliberately enlarged upon in Australia, which will act as a rationale for UN mediation in, and ultimate control over, our national affairs. WCRP in Melbourne was used as a religious platform for the UN's "indigenous peoples'" brainwashing.

WHAT IS THE GLOBAL BACKGROUND TO THE INDIGENOUS PEOPLES' GIMMICK?

Maurice Strong, Canadian oil tycoon, New Age leader who was in Australia at the same time as WCRP, July 1997, wrote in the foreword of the Gaia Atlas of First Peoples: A Future for the Indigenous World:

"As this turbulent century closes, we must alter radically our ways of life, patterns of consumption, systems of values, even the manner in which we organise our societies, if we are to ensure the survival of the Earth, and ourselves...[W]e will need to look to the world's more than 250 million indigenous peoples. They are the guardians of the extensive and fragile ecosystems that are vital to the wellbeing of the planet." (foreword page).

Writes Grigg: "Published in 1990 - the year when the entire international Marxist/Socialist network (NWO) suddenly 'discovered' environmentalism - the Gaia Atlas contains a world roster of 73 'Indigenous Organizations' (including AIM, American Indian Movement), most of which are affiliated with the World Indigenous Peoples Council (WIPC), a UN-aligned network....

Through its link to the WIPC, AIM and ITC (Indian Treaty Council) have obtained remarkable influence. Several AIM-aligned activists were sent to Chialas, Mexico in early 1994 to work a 'observers' or 'mediators' between Marxist Zapatista rebels and the government. Andrea Carmen, ITC's executive director, has lent similar 'service' during visits to Echudor, Nicaragua, and Panama, and ITC activist Tony Ibarra was sent to Rwanda as a UN observer. The ITC board also includes the Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Rigoberta Menchu, a Guatemalan Marxist whose autobiography, I, Rigoberta Menchu, is prominent in the multicultural canon." (p.p.150-151 ibid).

AUSTRALIA, IPRA AND RIGOBERTA MENCHU TUM.

In 1996, July 8-12, at the University of Queensland, Brisbane, the International Peace Research Association (IPRA), with APERA, held a conference, one of the listed keynote speakers was Rigoberta Menchu Tum. I attended that conference. APERA, Australian Peace and Education Research Association, also part of the network of the New World Order, issued a newletter this July 1997, in it the same Interfaith and Indigenous Peoples propaganda is featured, identical to the WCRP conference. Menchu's revolutionary activities are designed to bring the world's indigenous tribal peoples into a state of war against the ruling nationalists.

Menchu is a lesbian and a murderous New Age activist! These quotes should alert Australians to the seriousness of the aboriginal rights and "spirituality" issue in this country:

"In current American parlance, the enforcement arm of the multiculturalist movement is called 'political correctness', and Americans find themselves amused and sometimes outraged by the antics of the P.C. compassion gestapo. However, the multiculturalist movement is much more than merely a passing fancy of the foolish. In order for a 'global culture' to prevail distinctive national cultures must be extinguished. The multicultural crusade is designed to discredit the labors of America's founders and subvert the institutions they crafted. Furthermore, it is intended to provide an interface whereby America will come under UN-directed international scrutiny." (ibid, p.p.131-132).

"The actions of Menchu and Durham's (AIM leader) efforts to reconcile Marxism with Indian spirituality illustrate that the Indian/indigenous People's 'rights' movement is not about freedom, but about collectivism." (ibid. p.152).

"...these glimpses of the totalitarian theocracies adored by multiculturalists may prefigure the emerging global state - a socialist despotism founded upon a pagan worldview. Under a fully-realised new world order, all of earth's inhabitants would know the suffering of being consigned to an Indian reservation - forever." (ibid.p.155).

THE "INDIGENOUS PEOPLES" AT WCRP, MELBOURNE JULY 1997.

Brother Graeme Mundine F.M.S., an Aboriginal Marist Brother working in Canberra with the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Catholic Council, elected chairman in 1991, was a presenter at the WCRP conference. He said:

"To discuss aboriginal spirituality in isolation from aboriginal disadvantage and contemporary race politics in Australia would be like discussing the Crucifixion in isolation from the social context in which it occurred. Sociology and theology are intertwined. Religion has political implications, and politics has(sic) religious implication."

The above is true enough, the religion of the Rainbow Serpent, Dreamtime "theology", is being used to claim rights over Australia, because of the "sacred" religious "rights" of the "indigenous" to our country! Christianity is being branded as an imported religion, instead of being the Gospel for the whole world, given by Almighty God, the Creator.

"Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptised shall be saved, but he that believeth not shall be damned." (Mark 16:15-16).

From p.46 of "Rainbow Spirit Theology":

"The Creator Spirit is crying because the life-forces formed in the land are being destroyed. The land is crying because these life-forces are not bringing forth rich vegetation and abundant animal life. The people are crying because they are prevented from maintaining the law that once maintained this life." What is this "law" that is supposed to maintain life in Australia? The book tells it all, "Our ancestors gave us the law, the Aboriginal law of the land." (p.47).

THE SNAKE THEOLOGY.

We Christians are supposed to merge Christianity into the Rainbow Serpent pagan beliefs. This quote from the book above will show the reader the folly of this:

"As the Creator, the Rainbow Spirit is often portrayed by our Aboriginal artists as a powerful snake who emerged from the land, travelled the landscape leaving trails of life, and then returned to the land through caves, waterholes and other sacred sites.

Early Christian missionaries associated this snake image with Satan and the story of the Fall in Genesis 3. They saw the snake as a pagan symbol of fertility religion and condemned it as evil." (p.13).

The "early" Christian missionaries are not the only ones who regard the snake as evil, so do born-again believers today - white or black! Yet, we are about to be manipulated by the WCRP, and other New Age networks, into accepting this snake deity as the same as the Creator in the Bible. The following paraphrase of John's Gospel chapter one, from page 88 of the above book, will show the horror of this muddled theology, the Rainbow Serpent is imaged as the Lord Jesus Christ:

"In the beginning was the Rainbow Spirit, deep in the land. And the Rainbow Spirit was with God, the Creator Spirit, and the Rainbow Spirit was God. The Rainbow Spirit was in the beginning with God.  The Rainbow Spirit emerged from the land, transformed the land and brought all things into being on the land. With the Rainbow Spirit came life, and the life is the light of all people."

GRAEME MUNDINE QUOTES THE POPE.

In his speech Mundine called the Earth "our Mother" - the New Age concept of the Living Goddess Gaia, who is called Mother Earth by them. Somehow the role of Bible-believers as being the cause of the "rape" of the Mother Earth is accepted by Mundine, despite his claim to be a Christian:

"At the heart of their inability is a false understanding of the Christian teaching about our relationship to the Earth, our Mother.  Many people read Genesis 1:26-28, where God grants Adam and Eve 'dominion' over the rest of creation and commands them to 'fill the earth and subdue it', as giving mankind a divine mandate to be as destructive as we like towards the earth. This false understanding of Christianity is shared by those who want to rape the Earth as well as those who blame Christianity for encouraging rapists."

But in fact a more accurate interpretation of 'dominion' is that this is to be exercised as responsible stewardship of the natural world. In Catholic social teaching, this principle of responsible stewardship has been expressed by Pope John Paul 11:

'Theology, philosophy and science agree in their vision of a harmonious universe - that is, of a true 'cosmos', endowed with its own integrity and its own, internal, dynamic balance. This order must be respected: the human race is called to explore it, with prudent caution to discover it and then make use of it, while safe-guarding its integrity. Message for World Peace Day, 1990.'

Stewardship and respect of the land is a concept that is central to aboriginal culture. In this context, elders are seen as 'guardians' of sacred sites and the rituals associated with those sites." (end of Mundine quote).

WHAT HAVE WE HERE?

Graham Mundine has shown how the Ley-lines of the pagan world are to be re-activated from sacred sites to sacred sites, as the Rainbow Theology book discloses. These are called Ley-lines in Europe, Dragon-paths in China, and Rainbow Serpent paths in Australia, or song-lines. These mystical, occult lines join together the sacred sites, thus making a grid which is a Force or Source field - ancient magic of the cabbalists and shamans. Note the New Age buzz words in the Pope's quote, "harmonious universe", "cosmos endowed with its own integrity" (who ever heard of a universe which is a Live Entity with 'integrity'), this 'cosmos' has 'its own internal, dynamic balance' (in other words it needs no Transcendent God to order it, it is Deity and maintains its own 'balance').

NOTE THE RELIGIOUS POWER-PLAY!

On page 37 of the book "Rainbow Spirit Theology", purchased from a bookstall at WCRP, we see these words:

"Specific areas of the land are entrusted into the care of specific groups. These groups are the custodians of the land, its laws, its stories, its resources, its families, its ceremonies and its sacred sites."

On page 39:

"The ancestors walked the land, also filling it with spiritual forces. These forces are concentrated in sacred sites throughout the land. These sacred sites include fertility sites, conception sites, initiation sites, and cremation and burial sites."

On page 33, note the pantheistic theology:

"Human beings are also created from the land by the Creator Spirit (the Serpent), eventually return to that Spirit, who is present in the land."

THE PROBLEMS EXIST!

No one would deny that aboriginals need dignity and recognition, but this WCRP conference was not really about that. It was about political control structures imposed by the New Age New World Order. It was about bringing together the unruly religions under the One World Church, whose charter was signed this June, 1997. WCRP reflects the global goals of URO (United Religions Organisation). WCRP is planning an International Center for Religion and Conflict Resolution, (C.R. is funded by the Rockefeller Foundation).

URO has visions of specially trained retired politicians, spiritual leaders in teams, and conflict resolution specialists for global trouble areas. WCRP promotes global citizenship, and seeks to break down nationhood, it promotes world federation. It is a "primary endorser" of the occult New Age organisation Planetary Citizens. WCRP has its headquarters in the United Nation's Plaza in New York. WCRP promoted its agenda at the UN's conferences in Cairo, Copenhagen. Beiijing, and held an interfaith service at Copenhagen.

IN BRISBANE - ARCHBISHOP JOHN BATHERSBY ACTS.

Meanwhile, back home to Brisbane after the Melbourne WCRP conference. Catholic Archbishop of Brisbane, John Bathersby, who attended the WCRP conference, launched a massive show for "reconciliation" between Catholic "Christians" and the Aboriginal indigenous peoples on August 20, 1997. Held in Brisbane's Suncorp Stadium, it brought school children by bus from 159 primary and secondary schools in the Brisbane Archdiocese, which stretches as far as Childers, Maryborough and Murgon. 28,000 children and 1000 teachers and parents came in 266 buses and 16 trains.

The program called "Reconciliation Through Education" had a ceremony where Catholic students formed "two rivers." One for the past pain, and the other for renewed hope for the future. A great Rainbow Serpent of aboriginal people, beneath a serpent rather like the Chinese Dragon, wound its way around the stadium, while painted aboriginals performed their Dreamtime religious dances. The cry has gone out - Christians and the Dreamtime of Australian indigenous tribal peoples must merge together! Amazing coincidence, this "reconciliation" drama coincided with the launch of a school education kit on Aboriginal and Immigrant issues. Stranger still, both the Anglican and Catholic Archbishops of Brisbane were at the Multicultural Foundation WCRP indoctrination session in Melbourne, and no doubt Maurice Strong and The Archbishop of Canterbury had a finger in the pie as well.

"The Australian", August 21, 1997: "COURT OPENS DOOR TO DREAMTIME.

The West Australian supreme Court has upheld the rights of parents to refuse a post-mortem examination on their child because of their cultural and spiritual beliefs in the case of a baby who died apparently of sudden infant death syndrome....The boy's father...told the court...that he belonged to the Kwini tribe and post-mortem would cause irreparable damage to tribal cultures, customs, traditions and beliefs.

'If the body of the child is cut up then that will mean that his spirit will not rest according to our belief. It is the Aboriginal belief also that the spirit will be roaming around and will not enter Dreamtime,' said [the father]." (Front page).

FROM APERA  (AUSTRALIAN PEACE EDUCATION AND RESEARCH ASSOCIATION),

a New Age New World Order network: The July 1997 issue of the newsletter contains: The Ten Point Plan of the Federal Government's Response to the WIK Decision; Healing of the Peoples, on reconciliation with the indigenous peoples; Statement on Behalf of the national Indigenous Working Group on Native Title; Peace in the World's Religions, a written greeting from Dr Gary Herbertson of the Interfaith Council for the UN (this has quotes from every religion, and pretends that all religions are basically the same); "Peace" formal recognition in a syllabus, Queensland School Curriculum Council.

SUM-UP.

"The earth is the Lord's, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein." (Psalm 24:1)

"Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field... But I fear lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ" (Genesis 3:1a; 11 Corinthians 11:3)

"And the serpent, called the Devil, and Satan which deceiveth the whole world... And laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan ..." (Rev.12:9; 20:2).

In December 1994, the United Nations proclaimed the start of the "International Decade of Indigenous Peoples", this is supposed to be a dedication to winning full recognition of the honour, rights and cultures of the globe's so-called "first peoples" the "guardians" of the lands. The 1994 proclamation began the UN's official, bureaucratic interference into the "multiculturalism" commotion. What this amounts to is:

1. Doctrines of "collective guilt" and "collective virtue" (Grigg), which makes the "victim" peoples, in the main "indigenous peoples", the ones who must be given amplified status in history and religious position.

2. A neo-pagan worldview of the New World Order, being undergirded with the ancient pagan beliefs of the tribal aboriginals of the globe. Christian belief is suppressed, a universal "Homogenous State" is created - a neo-pagan One World Religion.

3. True Christianity is branded as being violent, intolerant, fanatical, and a religion which has outlived its usefulness. Yet, the opposers of Bible-based Christianity show hatred and fanaticism which is all too apparent.

THE SEDUCTION IS PEACE.

To not feel compassion for the unbeliever at this stage in global history is impossible! They reject the Only One who can give peace, the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ, yet they fear war. This is no minor terror, as films like "On the Beach" showed so piercingly in the 1950s. The unbeliever fears conflict between religions, and naturally will oppose any religion which declares "there is no other way to God" but by the Lord Jesus Christ. The unbeliever views this world as the only one which is real, they fear to lose this beautiful place, and any religion which declares that we cannot create a paradise again, that judgement is coming, that the world is ruined because of sin is a threat to the global unity, is a doom merchant, who must be silenced.

The propaganda is that religions, primarily Christianity, have caused the wars and separation on the planet. Syncretism would end all that, we are told. This quote from Ferreira hits the nail on the head:

"With Communism conveniently 'dead' it is easy to engender supposedly religious wars, blame religions in general for conflicts past and present, then tell them they have a responsibility to work for religious unity and peace. This, anyhow, is the propaganda. The hidden agenda, however, made clear by the statements of syncretists themselves, is to unite people under one religion so that they will peacefully accept the one-world government."

WHAT ARE PEACE, JUSTICE, INTEGRITY AND ETHICAL RESPONSIBILITY BASED ON?

The above are the stated goals of the URO and WCRP. The Biblical Christians know the answers to what peace, justice, integrity and ethical responsibility are based on - and they alone. Peace comes from trust in the Prince of Peace, the Saviour, who gives peace for the individual with God. Peace for the world will come only when Christ Jesus comes to take the government upon His shoulders. Justice, Integrity and Ethical Responsibility start and end with a relationship with the Creator, this is why the first commandment is to honour and worship GOD, to refuse false gods, to bow before the Creator God Almighty - there is but ONE GOD, revealed in His Word the Bible. (Exodus 20:2-3; Matt.22:35-40). "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment."

WHY ARE THERE WARS ON EARTH?

Wars happened on earth not because of religions, but because of SIN. There is strife because of evil leaders, greedy fallen people, ungodly practices, pagan bloody cruelty, super-rich despots who want to rule the world - and refusal to come to Jesus Christ to be saved. Bible prophecy tells us that the One-World religion will bring the most murderous, occult blood-bath that has ever been seen on this fallen planet. No, syncretism will not bring peace, it will bring a planetary holocaust.

"And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs." (Revelation 17:6)

THE RELIGION AND CULTURAL DIVERSITY CONFERENCE, JULY 1997.

The conference made a clear statement this July - God is unknown and unknowable. This means, by their own admission, that they are GODLESS! Yes, they might say that they believe that there is a ineffable other, a numinous, a force, an energy, a pantheistic presence in nature - but the devils also believe and tremble! "...the devils also believe, and tremble " (James 2:19).

When a person comes to the Lord in repentance and receives Christ Jesus As Saviour, God the Heavenly Father, "manifests" or reveals Himself, the Son of God "manifests" Himself. Without this re-birth, people can never know God, and are Godless, just as the demons and devils are. Jesus Christ said

"...he that loveth me shall be loved of my father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him....and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him." (John 14:21&23).

"...and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place." (11 Corinthinians 2:14).

ARE YOU AT PEACE WITH GOD? DO YOUR KNOW HIM?

Do you know the peace with God that comes with having sin forgiven and washed away; a guilty conscience put to rest in Jesus Christ; separation from the heavenly Father being ended, forever? You can know God and His peace that passes all understanding, not "peace" as the world gives, but as God alone can give. The answer is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

"Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, amd strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing." (Rev.5:12).

REPORT NUMBER THREE

The World Conference on Religion and Peace, held in Melbourne under the name Religion and Cultural Diversity Conference, operated throughout under the direction of the United Nations and UNESCO. The UN's "Human Rights" declarations were on tables at the conference, also information on the Australian legal system. This quote from a book which was acquired from the WCRP Melbourne conference will give the reader some idea of the religious agenda of the UN re. religion in Australia. "Free to believe?" Human Rights Commissioner.

DISCUSSION PAPER No.1 p.p.11-12:

"The Australian Constitution was negotiated and settled by white, Christian, European men. It was proclaimed under 'Almighty God'. The majority of these Founding Fathers did not see any general need to enshrine a Bill of Rights in the Constitution. They thought that the common law inherited from England and the parliamentary system provided sufficient protection. They also thought that the constitutional protection of rights could undermine Australia's policy of racial exclusion. Australia therefore has no Bill of Rights. It is one of the few remaining countries that does not seek to protect human rights constitutionally."

The inference above is that the Australian Constitution is a white, Christian, European invention, suitable for England, with a white, European "Almighty God', which excludes racially all other gods. "Human rights" for religions would give other gods a proper place. The International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR) was adopted by the United Nations General assembly in 1966, Australia ratified the ICCPR on 13 August 1980. Article 18:1 of the ICCPR states:   "everyone shall have the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion..."  Article 18:2 prohibits coercion which would impair one's freedom to have or adopt a religion or belief of his or her choice. Paragraph 3 provides that freedom to manifest one's religion and belief may be subjected only to such limitations as arePRESCRIBED BY LAW AND ARE NECESSARY TO PROTECT PUBLIC SAFETY, ORDER, HEALTH OR MORALS OR THE FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS OF OTHERS. Paragraph 4 provides for the freedom to impart religion and belief to one's children.

LET US LOOK AT THESE MATTERS, IN VIEW OF THE WCRP CONFERENCE.

"Intolerance" is now politically incorrect! It is "religious discrimination", it is "exclusion", it is "an affront to human dignity", a "violation of fundamental rights and freedoms." We Christians must realise that the International community views this country as having an "indigenous" religion, which is the true religion of this ancient land, with the "guardians" of the sacred soil being Rainbow Serpent worshippers. All other religions, which come into this country through immigration, are expected to recognise the superiority of the "indigenous" religion, and establish dialogue - to listen and learn! Christianity is seen by the International UN as an "immigrant" religion only. Keep in mind, Australia has ratified the ICCPR already.

FROM THE ADDRESS DELIVERED BY DAVID SILK.

The Right Reverend David Silk, Bishop of Ballarat, gave an address at the Melbourne WCRP called, "Religious Diversity and Building Effective Community Relations." An Anglican priest, Silk drew extensively from the 'experience' gained from Leicester, UK, the Council of Faiths. The City of Leicester is the home of the Islamic Foundation, a Library and Conference Centre. This is the centre of Islamic Mission and Education for Western Europe. What else is the Leicester Council of Faiths about?

Leicester is Jain Samaj Europe, the actual centre of Jainism for the whole European continent. It has one of only two Jain temples outside India. The Anglican version of this "Council of Faiths" includes Bahais, Buddhists, Jews, Hindus, Jains, Muslims and Sikhs. Many of the National leaders of those faiths live in Leicester. 25% of the inhabitants of the City of Leicester have roots in India.

Let me quote from this Interfaith Anglican priest, David Silk:

"(In Leicester) We were quite accustomed to people of many different faiths being present at the worship events of one another's communities. So, I found myself as a guest at celebrations in temples, gurudwaras, mosques, synagogues. Representatives of the other great faiths were as a matter of course invited to be present at major diocesan events like the enthronement of the new Bishop, or the installation of the new Provost, at ordinations, civic services and community celebrations in our churches. Woven into the calendar was the attendance of the Lord Mayor and leaders of faith communities at the Civic services in the Anglican Cathedral and Orthodox Synagogue, and at the public celebrations of carols at Christmas, the lights of Diwali, the processions at Vaisakhi and Eid, and the lighting of the Menorah. At the War Memorial each year on Remembrance Sunday were offered prayers for the dead and for peace by a Christian priest, a Jewish rabbi and a figure from one of the other world faiths."

THIS IS THE GLOBAL RELIGIOUS AGENDA - WITH ADDED EXTRAS!

The description from Silk above gives a general view of what "Interfaith" is all about in this New World. Add to this a "Global Ethic" with a "global theology" all its own, and there you are - the Antichrist religion, One World Church. Let us remind ourselves what the Almighty God has to say about this, before we go on:  False religions have NO LIGHT;

"...if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is NO LIGHT in them." (Isaiah 8:20).

The One TRUE LIGHT is Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God;

"Then spoke Jesus...saying, I am the light of the world; he that followeth me shall not walk indarkness, but shall have the light of life." (John 8:12).

SPIRITUAL DARKNESS leads to SPIRITUAL DEATH FOREVER;

"...for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins." (John 8:24).

TERRIBLE CONSEQUENCES AWAIT THOSE WHO REJECT THE ONE TRUE GOD.

"The wise men are ashamed, they are dismayed and taken: lo, they have rejected the word of the Lord; and what wisdom is in them?" (Jeremiah 8:9)

"Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?" (II Cor. 6:14-15).

SILK GIVES "THREE WORDS TO THE CHURCHES

David Silk, Anglican Bishop of Ballarat gave "three words to the churches" which we will examine.

THE FIRST "WORD" was "Dialogue". Now if you think that "dialogue" just means conversation, discussion, tete-a-tete, you are sadly mistaken in what WCRP means by this term. Said Silk: "Dialogue is the place where relations between faith traditions begin. Dialogue begins when people, not ideologies meet each other...Above all, dialogue must include sharing in the worship and prayer of the other. In all faiths dogma and worship are closely bound together, and woven into disciplines which form a religion, a pattern and rule of living. A sign of this is the respect accorded to sacred books in the worship of many faiths. ...In worship we may sense a profound convergence, a common experience of God and humanity. In worship we may draw, by different yet adjacent wells, from a single water table of spirituality. In worship we may tap into the spiritual resources of the indigenous peoples and thus be the 'soul' of Australia." (End of Silk quote).

FORBIDDEN BY GOD!

The Bible forbids any such "dialogue"! There is but one God, and the pagan religions are NOT in any way drawing from the Water of Life which is Christ Jesus our Lord! He said,

" ...whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst, but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life." (John 4:14).

The pagan religions are destitute of the Holy Spirit:

"These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest, to whom the mist of darkness is reserved forever." (II Peter 2:17).

IS THIS TRUE?

A short encounter with the beliefs of some of these religions will make it plain, to the true believer in Christ Jesus, that God will not allow worship and dialogue with them.

JAINS - believe in salvation through non-violence. They reject salvation in the shed Blood of Christ Jesus. They do not even believe in a Creator, they believe that the universe is God and is eternal. The Jains' great teacher, Mahavira, went around nude and plucked out his hair, before starving himself to death at the age of 72.

BAHA'IS - have interfaith teaching about all religions having the One God. Baha'is celebrate every year on 23rd of May the Anniversary of the Declaration of the Bab, a sort of fore-runner of the coming "Messiah" who will bring a One World with a One World citizenship. (Christians know who that will be. Revelation 13)

BUDDHISM - this is the religion without any God at all! There is no heaven, no hope, no God, no sin, nothing but endless "Nirvana" or a formless and uncreated nothingness as the goal of human existence. They utterly reject not only the Saviour, Jesus Christ, but their Creator as well.

ISLAM - the Muslims accept a Creator, but deny the Saviour, and follow a false god called "Allah." They are committed to this devilish deception. They have a form of salvation by works. In the Qur'an, the Islamic sacred book, Jesus Christ was born of Mary, but did not die, someone else died in His place, and God then raised Jesus to Himself! This means that there was NO SAVIOUR who died for the sin of the world, in their perverted version.

CAN CHRISTIANS FIND A COMMON "WATER TABLE" WITH THESE RELIGIONS AND OTHERS?

Of course not! Neither can we accept the Rainbow Serpent of the "indigenous peoples" of Australia, and be the "soul" of this country - what ever that means.

THE SECOND "WORD" from David Silk for the churches was "Particularity".He said: "Much of Christian debate about other faiths is dominated by the word 'unique'. Is Jesus unique? But the word 'unique' is at one and the same time too weak and too strong. It is, in fact, the wrong word. You are unique and I am unique. In that sense Jesus is unique....It is not the uniqueness of that which matters, but its particularity. The value of that word is that it is a rich expression but is not exclusive. It affirms what I believe and does not make a judgement on the beliefs of others.... Meaningful comparison is not possible between religions which address different questions." (End of Silk quote).

Now this is forked-tongue rhetoric if ever there ever was! Jesus Christ is only unique in the same way any other human is unique? "Particular" actually means unique or exclusive, anyway. Particularity "affirms what I believe and does not make a judgement on the beliefs of others"? Now that is hardly how Jesus Christ described His own particularity:

" I am the door...He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up another way, the same is a thief and a robber." (John 10:1 & 9).

The above rhetoric on "unique" should warn us that if any discussion is entered into with such people as Silk, we must carefully define what terms mean! You could ask David Silk "do you believe Jesus Christ is unique?" And he could answer without a lie, "yes I do." But his concept of unique is not what you may mean by that word!

Do religions "address different questions" making "meaningful comparison not possible"? Hardly. Religions all deal with who made man and the universe or what is the cause of life, are we or are we not sinful, is there life after death, how do we live good lives et al. We can compare the world's religions and their beliefs with Christianity - and if we do we find that there is NO comparison with Judeo-Christian Scriptures, they are bringing in every instance different messages than the Bible. Now if Christianity is the Truth, and the Bible is the inspired Word of God, then the other religions are not the Truth, they are erroneous.

THE THIRD "WORD" Silk gave the churches was "witness".  "For many outside the Christian Church the word "evangelism" has negative, even sinister, connotations. It may be that as individuals they have had bad experiences of a 'hard-sell', coercive pushing of Christianity upon them. Perhaps they have come from communities whose collective experiences of evangelism are historically linked to the propagation of western, and the repudiation of indigenous, culture....harshly judgemental attitudes...'witness' means that we are simply offering the vision we have seen..." (End of Silk quote).

Here we see the Interfaith indoctrination, "judgemental" would include any mention of personal sin, "hard-sell" could mean any sincere urging of another to accept God's forgiveness in Christ Jesus, "evangelism" has become a "sinister" thing. Silk says, "'Witness' is much to be preferred to 'evangelism', which in fact does not appear in Christian scriptures." The word "evangelism" may not appear, but "evangelist" is certainly there, and the word is Biblical, meaning to spread the good news of

Christ's death on the Cross - not just "offering" some "vision"!  (See Acts 21:8; II Tim. 4:5).

"But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an EVANGELIST,  make full proof of thy ministry."

David Silk spoke of the

"resonance with the message of others. In any of the great multi-racial, multi-cultural. multi-faith neighbourhoods of Melbourne you see this. There is an atmosphere of the holy mingled with the everyday as people travel to and from the mosque, temple or guruwara for prayer, as they greet one another in the name of God, as they display in their homes, their shops, their clothing the symbols of their faith, as they regulate their life and that of their community by religious festivals." (End of quote).

It is easy to see where all this Interfaith manipulation is heading. No evangelism for Christians, a mingled message of a neo-pagan multi-god community, calling spiritual blackness light - and letting the unsaved go to hell without being allowed (officially) to even make an effort to warn or enlighten them. This was graphically played out for myself at the Melbourne conference this July. I sat with two women at an evening coffee break. One was Catholic and the other was a non-religious psychiatrist. I asked the psychiatrist what religion she was, she said, "I have no religion, but I am spiritual, I meditate day and night, and often read "A Course of Miracles".

She was quite young, and seemed sincere, so I could do no other than say, "that is all New Age, Jesus Christ is the One you want, He will forgive your sin, and give you Eternal Life as a free gift etc." The Catholic lady drew back in her chair, as though repelled. The psychiatrist made the politically correct reply which will be the killer to all evangelism in the future (BUT, we must never forget the Blessed Holy Spirit's conviction). She said: "I respect the fact that you see that as the truth for yourself, I affirm that. I however have discovered the truth for me, another understanding of the same God, and it satisfies me. We have a deep understanding together. I know you affirm my grasp of my truth."

VILIFICATION IN A MULTI-CULTURAL, INTERFAITH AUSTRALIA.

The fact is that a religious ethic which will embrace, but overide entirely, all religious dogmas and doctrines is now in place globally. It is only a short step to forced compliance with this Global Ethic - no matter what the rhetoric bandied around is. ALL denial or critique of this agreed Ethic will soon be considered "vilification". It is not so much the criticism of other religions which is the threat, it is criticism of the Global Ethic which will bring persecution and even death in the future. It would seem crucial that we grasp an understanding of this "Ethic", and prepare ourselves for the certainty that Christ-honouring Christians cannot accept, syncretise with or even silently ignore the Global Ethic of this New Age world of One Mind.

"A UNITED NATIONS TO THE UNITED RELIGIONS."

"'We're on the threshold of the first global civilization,' said Episcopal Bishop William A. Swing shortly before leaving on a world tour to build support for his dreams: a United Religions, modelled after the United Nations, where representatives of the world's religions would unite instead of fight. 'As we become one global unit, we have to find out where religion is in regard to our global tribe.'" (Berit Kjos, a critique).

To become one global unit, the religions must become One Mind, not just be in agreement with what doctrines and ethics they have in common. There would still be left elements in which they are not in common - which could cause wars. So, the NWO despot "geniuses" have devised the One World Religion. Here is what Cardinal Francis Arinze, President, Pontifical Council for Inter-Religious Dialogue, Vatican City, presenter at the WCRP Melbourne, had to say:

"A totally different approach to the challenge of religiously pluralist societies is the view of those who think that the best way to promote social harmony in such societies is to pay attention only to what all religions have in common. They think that it is possible to sift out a few common elements from all religions existingin a society and to build on these elements. They talk of a common code of conduct, consensus morality and agreed moral standards. They indeed do not ask that religions be abolished, but they consider it fanatical and divisive to speak of particular religions. For them, beliefs are not important. The politically correct stance is to be liberal toward all and not to be weighed down by particular religious convictions or beliefs.

In reply I would like to say that it is true that natural philosophy or right reason, without any particular religious affiliation can arrive at certain truths of the moral or ethical order which all human beings can share. One thinks of ethics as developed by Plato or Aristotle. but in practice today it will be found that in actual life the ethical codes that guide people are set in religious contexts. A general or vague statement of agreed ethical norms will not be able to sustain people at critical moments of life or when the are faced by some major temptation.

For such crises, a religion which gives a world-view and a complete philosophy of life is necessary. This is another way of saying that ethical norms are built on belief systems and are nourished and invigorated by a religion which also sustains itself by ritual celebrations. The proposal of ethical norms based on the religion of nobody cannot carry anybody across the long and exacting pilgrimage of life. Indeed it smacks of secularism which ignores or marginalizes all religions, or at least regards religion as a personal and private matter which should not be discussed in public.

There must be available a way to social cohesion which respects the human being and the right to freedom of religion, which takes religions seriously and which nevertheless offers a dynamic formula to promote harmony in society." (End of Arinze quote).

"ACCEPTANCE, TOLERANCE, COLLABORATION."

This is the cry that the New World is echoing across the globe in the 1990s. Richard Scheinin, religion reporter for the San Jose Mercury News (2-3-96) wrote that Bishop Swing of the United Religions would visit Mother Teresa in Calcutta, the Dalai Lama in India, King Hussein in Jordan, "high-level Muslim leaders in Cairo, and rabbis in Jerusalem." He would also visit Istanbul, Rome, and Canterbury to invite representatives from the world's "great spiritual traditions" to the 1997 U.R. meeting in San Francisco. At the Presido, former U.S. army base, this year, June 1997, the U.R. charter for the world was signed - in the same place the U.N. charter was founded.

Hans Kung, the main author of the Global Ethic of the UN, wrote in 1991 in his book, "Global Responsibility: In Search of a New World Ethic":

"If ethic is to function for the wellbeing of all, it must be undivided ethic. The undivided world increasingly needs an undivided ethic. Postmodern men and women need common values, goals, ideals, visions. But the great question in dispute is: does not all this presuppose a religious faith?" (End of quote, p.30).

THESE ARE THE BASIC PRINCIPLES IN THE GLOBAL ETHIC,

dated August 28-September 5, 1993, Parliament of World's Religions. Chicago, Illinois, U.S.A. This was the ethic cited at the Melbourne Religion and Cultural Diversity Conference, July 1997. Remember that religious and political leaders were at that conference, including the Governor General Sir William Dean AC KBE, signatories on the program were the Prime Minister the Hon.John Howard MP, and the Hon. Kim Beazley MP. On the listed board of directors of the Multicultural Foundation is Sir Llewellyn Edwards AC, Queensland's well-known entity.

GLOBAL ETHIC DECLARATION: I.

No new global order without a new global ethic! ...

*As religious and spiritual persons we base our lives on an Ultimate Reality, and draw spiritual power and hope therefrom, in trust, in prayer or meditation, in word in silence. We have a special responsibility for the welfare of all humanity and care for the planet Earth. We do not consider ourselves better than other women and men, but we trust that the ancient wisdom of our religions can point the way for the future....

(COMMENT: note here the impersonal "Ultimate Reality", "meditation", "ancient wisdom" of the pagan New Age - this is NOT Christianity, Biblical Truth or the Judeo-Christian God).

GLOBAL ETHIC DECLARATION: II.

A fundamental demand: Every human being must be treated humanely. ...

*We know that religions cannot solve the environmental, economic, political, and social problems of Earth. However they can provide what obviously cannot be attained by economic plans, political programs, or legal regulations alone: A change in the inner orientation, the whole mentality, the 'hearts' of people, and a conversion from a false path to a new orientation for life.  Humankind urgently needs social and ecological reforms, but it needs spiritual renewal just as urgently. As religious or spiritual persons we commit ourselves to this task....

Of course religions are credible only when they eliminate those conflicts which spring from the religions themselves, dismantling mutual arrogance, mistrust, prejudice, and even hostile images, and thus demonstrate respect for the traditions, holy places, feasts, and rituals of people who believe differently...."

(COMMENT: note here the "change in the inner orientation", the "conversion from a false path". The global ethic is about the combined neo-pagan religions and the tribal religions bringing a "conversion", "spiritual renewal" with a Antichrist, religious spirituality! Note that religions are only "credible" by eliminating "conflict". No one will be able to say Christ Jesus is the ONLY Way to God, this is "arrogance" causing conflict. Can the reader picture "demonstrating respect" for the temples of the Hindus with the evil Kali the Destroyer, or the thousands of Hindu gods, all demonic; the mediums and channellers of the New Age; the goddess worshippers with their sickening, female sexuality worship; the Buddhist with the ashes of Lamas in casks on high places, and the huge idols of the Buddha; or the Mass of the Catholics when the bread and wine are supposed to turn into the Body and the Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the idol images of "Mary"?)

GLOBAL ETHIC DECLARATION: III.

Irrevocable directives.

*1. Commitment to a Culture of Non-violence and Respect for Life.... (e)  To be authentically human in the spirit of our great religious and ethical traditions mean that in public as well as in private we must be concerned for others and ready to help. We must never be ruthless and brutal. Every people, every race, every religion must show tolerance and respect - indeed high appreciation - for every other. Minorities need protection and support, whether they be racial, ethnic, or religious.

(COMMENT: the New World Order has decided what is "authentically human" and what is not. It is an international Ethic, decided upon, in international law, that we must "show tolerance and respect" even "high appreciation" for other religions. Can one imagine what writing that it is wrong to believe in reincarnation, drum up spirits, worship the serpent god would be construed as by WCRP? No longer would one be "authentically human", one is now a "violent and vilifying" enemy of peace!)

*2. Commitment to a Culture of Solidarity and a Just economic Order....  To be authentically human in the spirit of our great religious and ethic traditions...

*3 Commitment to a Culture of Tolerance and a Life of Truthfulness.... all over the world we find endless lies and deceit, swindling and hypocrisy, ideology and demagoguery (firebrand behaviour):

#Politicians and business people who use lies as a means to success...

#Representatives of religions who dismiss other religions as of little value and who preach fanaticism and intolerance instead of respect and understanding.... No woman or man, no institution, no state or church or religious community has the right to speak lies to other humans....

(COMMENT: There is a longer list of "swindling", "lies", "demagoguery" in the Global Ethic. Note carefully that the one I have cited on religion would embrace every Christian or Christian organisation which preaches the Bible doctrines. The Bible is filled with statements from the Lord about other religions, idol worshippers, false gods, only One God and One Saviour, the sinfulness of the human race, the Fall, coming apocalypse, hell and damnation et al. ALL is considered "lies" by the New World Order. "Fanaticism" and "intolerance" are any of the Biblical doctrines which the New Age considers racist, sexist, not pantheistic, not evolutionary, not earth-centred or exclusive).  #finally, for representatives of religion.  When they stir up prejudice, hatred, and enmity towards those of different belief, or even incite or legitimate religious wars, they deserve the condemnation of humankind and the loss of their adherents.

Let no one be deceived: there is no global justice without truthfulness and humaneness! c)Young people must learn at home and in school to think, speak, and act truthfully. They have a right to information and education to be able to make decisions that will form their lives. Without ethical formation they will hardly be able to distinguish the important from the unimportant...

(COMMENT: no doctrines and teaching which oppose the NWO's ethical norm will be allowed - "condemnation" will follow, with obvious penalties, and forced "loss of their adherents" - scattering of the members, or worse. All children to be taught the "ethics" of the global State).

*4 Commitment to a Culture of Equal Rights and Partnership Between Men and Women.

#...We need mutual respect, partnership, and understanding, instead of patriarchal domination and degradation, which are expressions of violence and engender counter-violence.

(COMMENT: the "Mother God" and feminist movement theology will find full acceptance by the NWO, the exclusive Father God and exclusive male leadership of Christian groups is not acceptable. This will open the way for an explosion of the New Age Goddess beliefs).

GLOBAL ETHIC DECLARATION: IV.

A Transformation of Consciousness! ...3.

Above all, we urge the various communities of faith to formulate their very specific ethics: What does each faith tradition have to say, for example, about meaning of life and death, the enduring of suffering and the forgiveness of guilt, about selfless sacrifice and the necessity of renunciation, about compassion and joy. These will deepen, and make more specific, the already discernible global ethic....

In conclusion, we appeal to all the inhabitants of this planet. Earth cannot be changed for the better unless the consciousness of the individuals is changed. We pledge to work for such transformation in the individual and collective consciousness, for the awakening of our spiritual powers though(sic) reflection, meditation, prayer, or positive thinking, for a conversion of the heart.  Together we can move mountains!...we commit ourselves to a common global ethic...

(COMMENT: here we see that all faiths have equal worth, all concepts about the meaning of life and death, and suffering are as meaningful as any other. Christ Jesus and His Sacrifice for mankind is only as important as worshipping sacred cows in India is! The doctrine of the obvious, that man is sinful, is happily done away with in the statement "forgiveness of guilt", not "sin"! The "transformation" of "consciousness" is major New Age doctrine, the New Paradigm. Note that there is NO GOD anywhere in the Global ethic, and note that the humanistic "positive thinking", "we can move mountains", shows that MAN not God is the hope for the planet.

Instead of responsibility to God there is responsibility to the global community. Instead of the commandments of God's Word, there are planetary ethics, created by the global community. Instead of all ethics and morals beginning with loving and worshipping the One True God, there is a commitment to "loving", toleration for demonic practices, and neo-pagan atrocious traditions and beliefs. Instead of God's commandments to not tolerate sin and false-hood, there has arisen a no tolerance for anyone who will not conform to the global State! And keep in mind that the global New Age State is an Earth-worshipping, Gaia Mother Goddess worshipping, religious world-view. Not just an atheistic, humanistic state, such as Communism was in other days. Communism has turned into New Age socialism, in this One World One Mind.)

THE PAGAN RELIGIONS, THE CATHOLIC CHURCH AND THE TRIBAL RELIGIONS ARE IDOL WORSHIPPERS!

Here is what God has to say about these religions. Withering scorn is poured out from God Almighty upon the blindness and grotesque foolishness of these religious worshippers. Yet the heart of God yearns for them, and we Christians are HIS witnesses until the end:

"Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have I not told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any.  They that make a graven image are all of them vanity; and their delectable things shall not profit; and they are their own witnesses; they see not, nor know; that they may be ashamed.  Who hath formed a god, ot molten a graven image that is profitable for nothing?  Behold, all his fellows shall be ashamed; and the workmen, they are of men: let them all be gathered  together, let them stand up; yet they shall fear, and they shall be ashamed together.

He heweth him down cedars, and taketh the cypress and the oak...He burneth part thereof in the fire; with part thereof he eateth flesh; he roasteth roast, and is satisfied: yea, he warmeth himself, and saith, Aha, I am warm, I have seen the fire:  And the residue thereof he maketh a god, even his graven image: he falleth down unto it, and worshippeth it, and prayeth unto it, and saith, Deliver me; for thou art my god.  They have not known nor understood: for he hath shut their eyes that they cannot see; and their hearts, that they cannot understand." (Isaiah 44:8-18).

"...yea the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service." (John 16:2)

"Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils." (1 Corinthians 10:21).

"For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,)  But to us there is but one God, the father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him." (1 Corinthians 8:5-6).

SIDE-BAR... REPORT NUMBER THREE, WCRP MELBOURNE, JULY 1997.

From the New Age "Global Ethic" Web Site,

<G-ETHIC@VM.TEMPLE.EDU. 27th Aug.1997.

This debate went on: FROM PAULA.

"There has been some discussion and criticism concerning the 'pathology of evangelical and fundamentalist' thought on this list and others....I understand many of these criticism, but I wonder whether a 'loving response' to the 'fundamentalists' would be more fruitful than the harsh condemnation I've been witnessing.... Of course Jesus taught a radical 'love ethic' as he called people to 'love their enemies.'... Perhaps we should reflect upon this Rabbi's (speaker on the holocaust) thoughts when we begin to feel 'enraged' or 'hostile' toward our 'enemies'. I often think how both Jesus and Mahatma Ghandi forgave those who executed them. What is the source of such forgiveness? "

AN ANSWER FROM ANOTHER NEW AGER:

"Of course, Jesus taught a radical 'love ethic' as he called people to 'love their enemies.'"

"Didn't He chase money lenders out of the temple? Fundamentalism is profane. To say so is not necessarily hateful, rather it is part of valid civic discourse in a democratic society, and part of carrying out our social responsibility to seek truth. I'm afraid that it seems like more of a cowardly utopian fantasy than love to avoid challenging the assumptions of fundamentalists."

PAULA AGAIN.

"Yes, I agree that there are times when one should challenge the assumptions of those who are intolerant.  But by what method and in what manner? I proposed a 'loving response' would be more fruitful than harsh condemnation and I stand by that proposal.

...I agree with you and my posting was an attempt to point out this distinction and to advocate a method which creates a climate for dialogue, understanding, and peace rather than further intolerance, alienation, and hostility."

FROM YET ANOTHER NEW AGER.

"Fundamentalism usually means a mindset that is rigid, insistent that its view is the only possible correct one, It usually is also associated with a literalist, non-critical understanding of texts (Bible, Qur'an, Laws of Manu [ Bhagavad-gita ], Marx etc).

To the extent that a person adheres to this 'absolutists' (from ab solvere, no limitation, i.e., unlimited ) viewpoint of the truth of some matter, s/he is by that very fact unwilling to engage in dialogue....I would say that one should do what one can to provide the context in which Fundamentalists might come to see the possibility of learning something from someone who holds a different position from them - and to that extent, more or less, de-absolutize their previous position. However, this unusually is a very long process, often lasting more than a lifetime."

FROM A CHRISTIAN MAN, RICK A.BARBER.

He answers a quote from the Global Ethic Web site, this quote follows:

"This new faith transcends all religions by accepting their partial validity while denying that there is any One True Path or exclusive mode of salvation."

RICK:

"And pray tell, where does this 'new world religion' leave Christians? Where does this 'religion' leave us, who know that there is only One True Way, and that is Jesus Christ, Messiah and Son of the One True God? Where does that leave us who will not hesitate to point out the error of your way.

Because it is impossible for us to receive your way, in that we will never abandon our Way, you exclude us from the very religion you wish to make universal?

How would your religion handle such people? people who will never in any way accept your deception as truth?"

ANSWER FROM LEONARD SWIDLER,

co-author of the Global Ethic, Global Dialogue Institute,  Religion Department, Temple University, Philadelphia. USA:

"I think you did not read Ingrid's old essay carefully enough. She states clearly enough.  She states clearly that this 'new world religion' is not a replacement for the various religious commitments people have - Christian, Muslim, etc. - but is what we all have, at our best, in common, namely a commitment to truth and love....she was conceptualising and articulating the notion of a Global Ethic long before (20 years) before the idea and term became popular....a Global Ethic...was not conceived just yesterday."
