STEVE VAN NATTAN'S QUESTIONS
FOR STEVE VAN NATTAN

Dumb title, right?
These are my secret questions. I ask myself these questions about YOU as I write.
It is supposed to be about serving, not me being famous.

I am giving away my secrets.

You may want to use these questions
in your ministry.

QUESTIONS STEVE ASKS STEVE:

1 What is the perspective of the reader?

2 Does the reader understand me?
What clever thing did I do to help him?
Did I add humor / satire in beginning paragraphs?

3 It is not enough to understand him.
He HAS TO feel understood / cared about.

4 Did reading perspective turn to emotion?
What is the question he might ask?
Did I answer that question?

5 What did I give away that was mine?
Did I give him parables to hang thoughts on?
Did I serve him?

6 Did I give him a line of action?

7. Did I prove all things with the Word of God?

How about you?
Are you serving the listener / reader you minister to..... ?
Or, is it all about you and how cool and intellectual you are?

Ephesians 4:11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
