This is old news, but it shows the instinct of the Roman Catholic hierarchy to take control of Jerusalem. The lust of the Crusades has not died out.

POPE JOHN PAUL II
IS MOVING IN ON SHINAR!

Your editor has taken the position that Zechariah 5
will be fulfilled by the Roman Whore moving to Babylon.
Note the text:

Zechariah 5:5 Then the angel that talked with me went forth, and said unto me, Lift up now thine eyes, and see what is this that goeth forth.

6 And I said, What is it? And he said, This is an ephah that goeth forth. He said moreover, This is their resemblance through all the earth.

7 And, behold, there was lifted up a talent of lead: and this is a woman that sitteth in the midst of the ephah.

8 And he said, This is wickedness. And he cast it into the midst of the ephah; and he cast the weight of lead upon the mouth thereof.

9 Then lifted I up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came out two women, and the wind was in their wings; for they had wings like the wings of a stork: and they lifted up the ephah between the earth and the heaven.

10 Then said I to the angel that talked with me, Whither do these bear the ephah?

11 And he said unto me, To build it an house in the land of Shinar: and it shall be established, and set there upon her own base.

I am convinced that the Whore system of the near future will move to Shinar.  Saddam Hussein has rebuilt Babylon and its glory.  I believe we now see the Pope making his move.  We will keep this page to see how he progresses.

POPE WELCOMES "BELOVED BROTHERS" OF ARMENIAN CHURCH

VATICAN CITY, DEC 13, 1996 (VIS) - Pope John Paul this morning welcomed Catholicos Karekin I, supreme patriarch of all Armenians, and those accompanying him, "in this house and this Church, for you are for us beloved brothers."

"The deep communion which we feel at this moment has its source in our common faith in the one Lord, a faith sealed by the gift of baptism," said the Pope. "By virtue of apostolic succession, which allows us to mutually recognize the validity of the ministerial priesthood and the episcopacy, our Churches celebrate the same sacraments. ... our Churches are consequently engaged in the same mission for the world of today."

He pointed out that "the Armenian apostolic Church is the bearer of an incomparable richness of tradition, which goes back to the origins of our faith. The Armenian people were among the first to receive the Good News. ... She became a living Christian community, truly rooted in the local human reality and showing solidarity in the joys and sufferings of the entire people. Living in a tormented region, at a junction with different cultures and religions, and different political entities, the Armenian Church has known persecution."

John Paul II remarked that "the Armenian Church today finds itself facing a new and immense task. The Catholic Church wishes to be at her side today."........

JOHN PAUL II AND KAREKIN I SIGN COMMON DECLARATION

VATICAN CITY, DEC 13, 1996 (VIS) - His Holiness John Paul II, Bishop of Rome and Pope of the Catholic Church, and His Holiness Karekin I, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of all Armenians, signed a Common declaration in the Vatican following their meeting this morning. Following are excerpts from the original English-language text:

"Pope John Paul II and Catholicos Karekin I recognize the deep spiritual communion which already unites them and the bishops, clergy and lay faithful of their Churches ... (which) finds its roots in the common faith in the Holy and life-giving Trinity proclaimed by the Apostles and transmitted down the centuries. ... They rejoice in the fact that recent developments of ecumenical relations and theological discussions carried out in the spirit of Christian love and fellowship have dispelled many misunderstandings inherited from the controversies and dissensions of the past."

WHO WILL GO THE SHINAR?  ANSWER:  NOT JOHN PAUL II

Pope to miss Mass on Christmas Day

By Victoria Combe, Churches Correspondent , London Daily Telegraph, December 12, 1996

THE Pope will not be celebrating Mass on Christmas Day, the Vatican announced yesterday. It is the first clear admission that the Pope's health is failing.

On doctors' advice, the Pope will restrict himself to midnight Mass on Dec 24 in St Peter's which finishes at 2.30am on Christmas Day. He will miss the 10am service on Dec 25 and will rest until midday when he delivers his Christmas blessing to thousands of pilgrims from the balcony overlooking St Peter's Square.

The decision follows a year of precarious health for the Pope who had his appendix removed in October and has looked continually exhausted and pained during his foreign trips. Last year he cancelled Christmas Day Mass because of a fever.

Prof Francesco Crucitti, the Pope's surgeon and head of surgery at the Gemelli Clinic in Rome, has admitted that the Pope has Parkinson's Disease - a progressive neurological disorder. This was evident earlier this month when the pontiff met the Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr George Carey, to discuss reviving unity talks.

The Pope was stooped and barely able to move one foot in front of the other. His expression was unblinking and fixed - a symptom of the disease - and he managed only a simple "Bon giorno" in reply to the archbishop's enthusiastic greeting.

POPE RECEIVES DELEGATIONS FOR CHRISTIAN-ISLAMIC DIALOGUE

Vatican City, May 29, 1998 (VIS)

Pope John Paul today received delegations from the Pontifical Council for Inter-religious Dialogue and the Permanent Committee of Al-Azhar for Dialogue between the Monotheistic Religions, both of whom yesterday signed an agreement for the creation of a Joint Committee for Dialogue.

Addressing them in English, the Pope told the delegations that this committee "is a further step in the building of ever stronger and more friendly relations between Christians and Muslims.

"Today, dialogue between our two religions is more necessary than ever. This dialogue needs to be credible and marked by mutual respect, knowledge and acceptance. The long history shared by Christians and Muslims has had its lights and shadows. Yet there remains a spiritual bond which unites us and which we must strive to recognize and develop. This may require much effort, but it will prove essential for building that peace which we hope future generations will be able to enjoy."

The Holy Father expressed his confidence that, as the members of the new committee "give the best of themselves in sincerity and truth the goals agreed upon will be attained."
