"He played the fool"    1 Samuel 26:21 ...behold, I have played the fool...

"I expect great things of you, my boy."    1 Samuel 26:25 ...Blessed be thou, my son David: thou shalt both do great things...              [Note: Here's another good reason to turn away from this kind of flattery.  They're quoting King Saul and he didn't mean a word of it.]

"took notice"     2 Samuel 3:36  And all the people took notice of it...

"such and such"     2 Samuel 12:8 ...I would moreover have given unto thee such and such things.

"Take it to heart"     2 Samuel 13:33  Now therefore let not my lord the king take the thing to his heart...    (Also, 2 Samuel 19:19)

"Don't put words in my mouth!"      2 Samuel 14:3 ...So Joab put the words in her mouth.

"It's good for what ails you"      2 Samuel 14:5 ...What aileth thee?...

"From the crown of his head to the soles of his feet"     2 Samuel 14:25 ...from the sole of his foot even to the crown of his head there was no blemish in him.

"He's going to file suit"  (as in a case for court)      2 Samuel 15:4 ...that every man which hath any suit or cause might come unto me...

"He stole their hearts"      2 Samuel 15:6 ...so Absalom stole the hearts of the men of Israel.

"eye sight"     2 Samuel 22:25 ...according to my cleanness in his eye sight.

"the vestry" and "vestments"     2 Kings 10:22 And he said unto him that was over the vestry, Bring forth vestments for all the worshippers of Baal. And he brought them forth vestments.

"Get up!"  1 Kings 18:41 And Elijah said unto Ahab, Get thee up, eat and drink; for there is a sound of abundance of rain.

forging a letter "in someone's name"      1Kings 21:8 So she wrote letters in Ahab's name, and sealed them with his seal...

A "horselaugh"     Job 39:19 Hast thou given the horse strength?...25... He saith among the trumpets, Ha, ha...

Saying your "lines"  (as in a play)    Psalms 19:4  Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world...

"You're buttering me up"      Psalms 55:21 ...The words of his mouth were smoother than butter, but war was in his heart...

"Turn a deaf ear"     Psalm 58:4 ...they are like the deaf adder that stoppeth her ear; 5 Which will not hearken to the voice of charmers...

"more than your heart's desire"         Psalms 73:7 ...they have more than heart could wish.

"Toot your own horn ..."       Psalms 75:4-5 ...and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn:

"I'm at my wits end!"      Psalm 107:27 ...and are at their wits' end.

"I was eaten alive by mosquitos"  Proverbs 1:12 Let us swallow them up alive as the grave; and whole, as those that go down into the pit:

Calling a ship "her"     Acts 27:15  And when the ship was caught, and could not bear up into the wind, we let her drive.   Acts 27:32 Then the soldiers cut off the ropes of the boat, and let her fall off.

"Hope against hope"      Romans 4:18  Who against hope believed in hope...

"All right, cut it short!"     Romans 9:28  For he will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness...

"He sure made short work of that!"    Romans 9:28 ...because a short work will the Lord make upon the earth.

"You're really sticking your neck out"      Romans 16:4  Who have for my life laid down their own necks...
