TELL ME
THERE'S A HEAVEN

Where do babies go who die,
to Heaven or to Hell?

By Steve Van Nattan

DEAR DEMOCRATS AND CHRIST HATERS

The poem is not copyrighted. Do anything you wish with it. I wrote it myself.

By Steve Van Nattan

Tell me There's a Heaven

You can kill all of those babies;
You can damn them all to Hell.
But, they all go to the Savior;
And, they have a tale to tell.

They will speak up to their Jesus;
Who will ask them why they came.
And, they'll say that they were murdered;
In a Democratic game.

And, they'll ask the loving Savior;
"Can we stay right here with you?"
And he'll hug them with his loving arms;
And say, "I'll stay with YOU."

So, you murder all the babies;
And, you think you won't get caught;
But, if there really is a Heaven;
There's a Hell where YOU WILL ROT.

Written, as always, in all good Christian charity.

HOW DO WE KNOW BABIES WHO DIE GO TO HEAVEN?

The Hebrew People in the Wilderness

After the Hebrews had crossed the Red Sea and wandered for some months, God brought them to the Promised Land. They were on the east bank of the Jordan River. Moses sent spies into the land of Canaan to see what sort of war they would have to fight to enter and conquer the land. The spies came back, and ten of them wimped out and predicted total defeat. Joshua and Caleb said that the land was rich and bountiful, and the Hebrews should declare war at once and take Canaan.

So, the people panicked, and they refused to take the land God had promised them. God became angry with the people, and he told them they would never enter in, and he told them they would wander for forty years in the wilderness until they all died, that is, except the children.

Deuteronomy 1:35 Surely there shall not one of these men of this evil generation see that good land, which I sware to give unto your fathers,
36 Save Caleb the son of Jephunneh; he shall see it, and to him will I give the land that he hath trodden upon, and to his children, because he hath wholly followed the LORD.
37 Also the LORD was angry with me for your sakes, saying, Thou also shalt not go in thither.
38 But Joshua the son of Nun, which standeth before thee, he shall go in thither: encourage him: for he shall cause Israel to inherit it.
39 Moreover your little ones, which ye said should be a prey, and your children, which in that day had no knowledge between good and evil, they shall go in thither, and unto them will I give it, and they shall possess it.
40 But as for you, turn you, and take your journey into the wilderness by the way of the Red sea.

This establishes a principle that runs throughout the Bible. That is, children are exempt from the wrath of God if they are too young to own their sin or to rebel or defy the plan of God. By the principle of "first mention," we have established the fact that God does not hold innocent babies and children accountable for their sins or their parents' sins. Once they are adults, all of that changes, and God offers his plan of salvation to those who know they are sinners and who repent. Nothing changed in Jesus' day, as we will see below.

Jonah and the Children of Neneveh

There is a teaching afoot in Fundamental Christian circles that babies who die go to Hell. This causes many Christian parents to be very paranoid about their new borns and young children. They have a terror of the child dying. Here is a Bible text that makes it clear that this teaching is not of God.

God speaks to Jonah and rebukes him for his resentment that God had mercy on the city of Nineveh. The king of Nineveh, and all the people, had heard the message of judgment of Nineveh for being pagan, and they repented to Jehovah and sat in sack cloth and ashes and confessed their sin. So, God had mercy on them and decided not to destroy the city after all. Jonah got all bent out of shape over this because he craved to see the city destroyed. After all, this was the arch enemy of Israel.

Jonah 4:1 But it displeased Jonah exceedingly, and he was very angry.
2 And he prayed unto the LORD, and said, I pray thee, O LORD, was not this my saying, when I was yet in my country? Therefore I fled before unto Tarshish: for I knew that thou art a gracious God, and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repentest thee of the evil.
3 Therefore now, O LORD, take, I beseech thee, my life from me; for it is better for me to die than to live.
4 Then said the LORD, Doest thou well to be angry?
5 So Jonah went out of the city, and sat on the east side of the city, and there made him a booth, and sat under it in the shadow, till he might see what would become of the city.
6 And the LORD God prepared a gourd, and made it to come up over Jonah, that it might be a shadow over his head, to deliver him from his grief. So Jonah was exceeding glad of the gourd.
7 But God prepared a worm when the morning rose the next day, and it smote the gourd that it withered.
8 And it came to pass, when the sun did arise, that God prepared a vehement east wind; and the sun beat upon the head of Jonah, that he fainted, and wished in himself to die, and said, It is better for me to die than to live.
9 And God said to Jonah, Doest thou well to be angry for the gourd? And he said, I do well to be angry, even unto death.
10 Then said the LORD, Thou hast had pity on the gourd, for the which thou hast not laboured, neither madest it grow; which came up in a night, and perished in a night:
11 And should not I spare Nineveh, that great city, wherein are more than sixscore thousand persons that cannot discern between their right hand and their left hand; and also much cattle?

Jonah was just fine with all the babies in Nineveh being killed and going to Hell. He was the first Calvinist, for he decided, on behalf of God, that unsaved babies needed to be tossed into Hell. Most Calvinists believe......

"That imputed sin entails real imputed guilt, and that imputed guilt is real guilt (the infant is really guilty of having sinned, even though he has not actually sinned). Because the infant is really guilty of sin, he may be justly punished for this sin. If it were not just to punish someone for imputed sin, then Jesus could not justly have suffered for the sins of men. Thus, infants who die may justly be sent to hell." Reformed Answers

This sort of Calvinist cannot find direct Scripture references to prove this. Again, this is a case of legal argument invented by the prosecution, Calvinist theologians, not by God.

For our purposes, we look at God's logic for showing mercy on Nineveh. Whatever Jonah thought of the adult population of the city, in verse 11 God asks Jonah why he should not spare the children and cattle. The idea is that God did not hold the children responsible for the sins of the adults. They were innocent. If God would spare children from his wrath in Nineveh, why would he today send innocent babies who die to Hell? The truth is often found in reasoning from one Bible question to another, and this is the case here.

King David and his infant child

We now look at the event when God was punishing David for killing a man and marrying his wife. While God forgave the sin, he did not suspend judgment. The child of that murderous marriage was sick and near death by the judgment of God. David fasted and prayed, asking God to spare the child. God did not spare the child. Once the child was dead, David surprised his palace leaders by taking off his mourning clothes and asking for food to be served. They were shocked that he did not continue to mourn for the child. Here is David's answer to his leaders.

2 Samuel 12:21 Then said his servants unto him, What thing is this that thou hast done? thou didst fast and weep for the child, while it was alive; but when the child was dead, thou didst rise and eat bread.
22 And he said, While the child was yet alive, I fasted and wept: for I said, Who can tell whether GOD will be gracious to me, that the child may live?
23 But now he is dead, wherefore should I fast? can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me.

David was an Old Testament believer, and when these believers died, they went to the bosom of Abraham, meaning they were in a place where they waited until they were taken finally to Heaven. Jesus emptied this place and took them all to Heaven after his death on the Cross. So, David says the child cannot come to him, but he will go to the child. If the child was in Hell, as modern hyper-damnation preachers claim, why would David be happy he would go to the child? The child was given mercy, like the kids in Neneveh, and the child was in the bosom of Abraham.

The Teaching of Jesus

I have no intention of making this section of this article comfortable for you. There may be some serious offense in my teaching here. If you have to gripe at me about it in email, do so please from the link at the end, BUT use the King James Bible to prove me wrong. I will simply delete your mail if you quote John Calvin or you favorite Ph.D. at Calvin Seminary or Dallas Seminary. Ph.D.- Piled Higher and Deeper.

Matthew 18:7 Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!

Matthew 18:10 Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.
11 For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.
12 How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray?
13 And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray.
14 Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.

God has not chosen little children to go to Hell. Verse 11 tells us that Jesus came to save the lost, not damn them to Hell. Thus, Jesus was seeking children to save them from being lost.

Luke added another verb:

Luke 19:10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

The Calvinist is stuck in eternity past. He reads about election and predestination, and he sees God coldly picking and choosing, and the Calvinist may not say it, but he has a God who WANTS people in Hell. The Bible contradicts this heresy:

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

This is talking about salvation which includes repentance. While election and predestination are biblical truths, it is also 100% true that God does not want anyone to go to Hell. The reason Calvinists have a problem letting God seek all men with the message of salvation is that Calvinists cannot let God be God. God said, "My ways are not your ways." So, God can elect to salvation, AND he can be willing that none perish. Humanly, that makes no sense, but with God "all things are possible." The blasted error of the Calvinist is that he feels intellectually obligated to reduce God to the level of a three penny lawyer of Alsace Lorraine. Calvin studied law, and immediately upon matriculation, he dived into theology and writing his big pile of horse leavings. He never studied theology. So, his Institutes are a law manual for high browed men who want to take God to court and sue him for being God.

I for one, do not intend to let a smart posterior define God, and his love for lost souls, for me.

Calvi-god is a devil.

Now, what does this have to do with children who die before the age of accountability?

Verses 12-13 of Matthew 18 above are proof that God, whatever he did about election in eternity past, is actively seeking lost souls. And, II Peter 3 makes it clear that God would prefer not to lose any lost souls. If you deny this, you are a flaming heretic because it is right there in plain sight for you to read. Stop letting the murderer from Geneva define your doctrine.

So, in verse 14 of Matthew 18, Jesus says, "Even so....." This means, "In this way" or "after this manner," and that means verse 12-13 tell us how God deals with children. "It is not the will of your Father." What does that mean, John "The Creep" Calvin? It means that in the "seek and save" manner of looking for a lost sheep, God is hot on the trail of every child in the world.

Matthew 18:10 Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.

God even solicits the help of his angel forces to keep an eye of every little child on earth. I don't care how pagan, Hindu, Muslim, whore, pimp, crack head, or Adolph Hitler the parents are, every child has God's full attention all of the time. AND, it is his will and plan that those kids not perish. Children die, so either God failed to prevent them from perishing, or this text means they must not perish in Hell. There is NO OTHER way to interpret this text rationally. When a child dies, God sees to it that they do not perish, that is, they go to Heaven.

So, why do these kids grow up, rebel against the Gospel, and go to Hell? The key is the innocence of a child. We saw with the Hebrew people in the wilderness, and with Jonah, that God treated the children different than he treated the adults. An adult has choice. An adult has free will, at least as free as a human can be. God elects, but man chooses, and that truth is all over the Bible, from Eve's choice to eat the fruit to Revelation 9:20-21 where the people have suffered unspeakable wrath from God but choose to rebel against God.

But, the children do not have a conscience that drives their will. They only have appetites and desires to have what they want, and they do not understand that sometimes these desires result in sin. God, the just judge, does not find them guilty of malice, so he keeps seeking them and making sure they do not perish in Hell.

When a child dies, this doctrine of God and his kids, PROVES that God CAUSED the death of that child. God WANTS aborted babies to die. I will now toss you Calvinists a bone. God elected those aborted babies to salvation in eternity past, and he has no other way to take them to Heaven. To let them live would result in them being raised to become arrogant Christ haters, and his election of them would fail. He cannot elect anyone to salvation and then be forced to admit he could not pull it off. So, he arranges for the child, in this case, in the womb, to be killed by murderers. There is absolutely no difference in this arrangement between an aborted baby in Omaha and a two year old child in Africa who wanders down to the lake shore and is grabbed and eaten by a crocodile. God permitted it to happen, though he, in his infinite sovereignty, could have prevented it.

Make no mistake about it..... God does not consider the abortionist his friend.

Matthew 18:6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

1. Abortionists should be executed for murder. And, if America tomorrow arrested every abortionist in America and sent them to the electric chair, God would be very pleased with this.

Genesis 9:6 Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.

Every legislator or ruler, in America or anywhere else in the world, who facilitates abortion, is an accomplice to the crime of murder. All of these rulers and leaders should be executed in order to satisfy God's justice against murder. The law of almost all nations holds the killer of the helpless at the highest level of a felony. Thus, abortion must be a capital offense.

2. Grab hold please..... this will mess with your GMO man-made doctrine.

Little children believe in Jesus. How is this? I do not know, and I will not try to tell you. But, I believe Jesus when he said so in Matthew 18:6 above. And, your favorite theologian cannot tell you how this is so. Theologians will tell you that these are new Christians who are childlike in their new faith. Bah! The context is all about literal little children. This is the only place in the Bible, that I know of, that tells us that little children, before the age of accountability, believe in Jesus. But, they do. If you want those children to hate Jesus, you are demon possessed. Jesus, in his omniscience, rejoiced to know that those kids believed in him, and I will take his word for it. The only thing I can say is, there is a mystery here that tells us children have a relationship with Jesus that we adults do not understand. This may explain why a little baby will look into the corner of the room and smile. All of us parents have seen this at one time or another. Who are they smiling at? Their angel, or Jesus? Is it OK with you if God allows this? And, can you now see why God is busy making sure they don't perish?

This statement by Jesus hints at something that many people, especially parents, have suspected. That is, that babies and little children, before they are accountable and lose their innocence, seem to be living in another world all their own. Maybe there is something to this, and God is in that other world. This thought by me is 100% speculation, I admit. But, many of us have wondered about this at times.

Do not get confused. When a child reaches the age of accountability, he is no longer innocent. He is lost. God then sends the Holy Spirit to give him light by way of his conscience and the Word of God, along with preaching in many cases.

John the Baptist, speaking of Jesus, said, "John 1:9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world." Every person ever born is given light. Again, the Calvinist denies this by discussing it in high browed law language, but it is right there in the Bible. The Calvinist points out, correctly, that every person born is dead in sin. The shill of Cal The Deadbeat then asks, "How can a dead man see light?" The answer is, "Because God says he can in John 1:9." Calvinists hate to have to take the Bible literally. So, every baby, the day he reaches the age of accountability, has light. It is a supreme privilege to be the person whom God uses to shine the light into the soul of a child.

God makes a large effort to find that newly lost child-turned-adult lost sheep. From the day of accountability onward, the child-turned-adult does not believe in Jesus, as in verse 6 above, unless he willfully confesses faith in Jesus Christ. This is why it is so important for Christian parents to talk frequently to their children about Jesus and his love and sacrifice for sinners on the Cross. This makes the journey from innocence to guilt, and on to salvation, as short as possible. This is also a damning consideration when we see Reformed parents believe their baptized baby is predestined to salvation "in the covenant" because they got a dribble of water on the head administered by a domini of a Reformed denomination. For this reason, most Reformed parents do not give the Gospel to their children. They have the notion that somehow God is obligated to save their children because they have a baptismal certificate hanging on the wall of their bedroom. Hell will be loaded with millions of people who trusted their baptism in a Reformed or Catholic church to save them. It also helps to have a good Dutch name, or a good German Lutheran name, or a good Scottish name, right? Certainly God would not send anyone named Van Fleet to Hell. Bah!

You parents would do well to follow the example of a young father I saw in the Safeway store in Barstow, California one day. He had his very young baby in his arms, and he was quietly saying to the baby, "Jesus, Jesus, Jesus." He was not saying, "Daddy, Daddy, Daddy." I about cried. "Jesus" was the first word that Daddy wanted to hear from his baby. Here was a father who wanted his child to be so familiar with the name of Jesus that, when the child lost his innocence later, he would find the path to Jesus and salvation very short and bright.

I need to tell you what happened here. I wanted to drop a video here of someone teaching us how to give the Gospel to a child. Or, I wanted to find a dramatization of Jesus talking about children and the Kingdom of God. I found a couple of videos done with the King James Bible and done very well. They were the work of the Mormon Church. Ugh! I looked for quite a while, and I found nothing that was not done by heretics, or it was shallow and looked like a Sesame Street Jesus. The lesson I take away from this Internet dead end experience is this..... You will have to simply use the Bible, read it to your child, and explain what it means in a way your child can understand. Do not get trendy or use dumb illustrations. Stick to the Bible stories alone. Always answer questions by using the Bible to explain itself.

I must assume that there is no one out there who will help you do this. But then, who does your child trust? If you have been a godly parent, your child trusts you, so take pleasure in the opportunity to lead your child to faith in Jesus. And, remember, your child is not born again until they confess their faith in Jesus for themselves. Do not destroy this simple act and moment by taking your child to a church service and convincing them to walk the aisle. Nowhere in the Bible are we told that walking the aisle got anyone saved. Furthermore, YOU, Daddy or Mommy, are the ones told to teach the Truth to your children.

Ephesians 6:4 And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

There is no faster way to send your kid to Hell than to hang a baptismal certificate on the wall of his bedroom. And, for that, you should have a millstone hung around your neck and toss you into the sea. You started out wrong when you had your baby baptized. Acts 8:26-38 tells you that no one has any business getting baptized until they, with a mature rational mind, confess that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. That is why all the modern English translations of the Bible other than the King James Version remove verse 37. They are accommodating the Catholic and Reformed teaching on baptism of babies. If you know a Reformed parent who refuses to have his babies baptized, it is because he understands this Bible based truth, and he wants his kids to be baptized only after they confess faith in Christ. I know of such God fearing parents, and I salute them. And, you can be a Reformed theologian and figure this out. Just get a piece of strudel, a cup of coffee, and sit down and read the Acts 8 text above through ten times, and you will get it eventually.

One very famous Reformed scholar who kept his kids back from baptism until they made an adult confession of faith in Christ was Leonard Verduin of Michigan. But, taking a stand will cost you a price. The Christian Reformed Church would purchase articles by Verduin, claiming they wanted to publish them in their journal, and then they would copyright them and burn them to make sure they never were published. Verduin's last book manuscript on Calvin, Luther, and Zwingli was made to disappear after his death so that the truth on the three great reformers would not get out. But, Verduin will stand before his Savior one day and hear, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant."

I have personally met a whole lot of Reformed people who have made it clear to me that they have never confessed their faith in Jesus out loud to anyone. Keep your kid's head dry, and you may get to spend eternity with him in Heaven.

We end this thought praising God that, in his sovereignty, and as an adjunct to his election, God has arranged that new born babies believe in Jesus. We also understand that these babies go straight to Heaven if they die before they understand they are sinners and have the ability accept or reject the Gospel. We finally rejoice that the doctrine that sends babies to Hell if they die before the age of accountability is the worst sort of rubbish doctrine. And, any jack leg, be he a scholar or a scurvy dog, who tells the parents of a baby, who dies an untimely death, that their baby is burning in Hell, should be ministered to with a bull whip. And I say that, as always, in all good Christian and Texan charity.

A story comes to mind. Long ago, the railroads gave free passes to Christian pastors to ride the railroad. As long as they were pastors, they got the pass. When they left the ministry to sell insurance or play the fool, the railroad at once made them pay regular fare. A baby who believes in Jesus does not have salvation..... he has a free pass to Heaven if he dies based on the policy and mercy of God. Once the baby is no longer innocent, he becomes a Hell bound sinner like all the rest of the population. He needs to purchase a ticket, and that is done at Mount Calvary. The blood of Jesus is the price of a ticket.

Blessed is the ticket agent.

What about Aborted Babies?

So, aborted babies, that is, babies who have been murdered by Christ haters, will go to Heaven. They will be whole persons like the rest of us. They will have no life story, but they will be under the same eternal destiny as everyone else in Heaven. They will have a mansion, and they will eat of the Tree of Life. If you are not sure of this doctrine, please do NOT discuss this topic with someone who has just lost a young child in death. You will only cause them horrendous emotional pain if you are the least bit unsure of yourself on this topic. Just shut up, and comfort the parents.

God has a relationship with all unborn babies before they are aborted.

Psalms 139:13 For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.
14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
15 My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
16 Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.

Job 10:9 Remember, I beseech thee, that thou hast made me as the clay; and wilt thou bring me into dust again?
10 Hast thou not poured me out as milk, and curdled me like cheese?
11 Thou hast clothed me with skin and flesh, and hast fenced me with bones and sinews.
12 Thou hast granted me life and favour, and thy visitation hath preserved my spirit.
13 And these things hast thou hid in thine heart: I know that this is with thee.

God has control of the destiny of a baby from conception. The above Bible texts make it clear that God is in charge from start to finish. The only way any person can escape from God's plan of life and salvation and eternal life in Heaven is to reject God's provision of salvation through Jesus Christ. Every sinner is given light when he enters the world, and he has to consciously reject that light in order to end up in Hell.

John 1:9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

The unborn baby, especially the aborted baby, has had no opportunity to reject the light, nor has he had the opportunity to confess faith in the Light of the world, Jesus. So, he is not guilty of anything before God. God can take that baby, the moment he is killed, and give him eternal life without offending his own justice. And, God does not have to consult with any of you Calvinist theologians to be merciful to babies.

The question comes up as to autistic people and the mentally ill. I would assume that anyone, old or young, who does not have the mental ability to understand they are sinners, and that the Gospel is their only hope, will be shown mercy by God. The whole context of judgment, reward and damnation in the Bible, is associated with sinning, knowing you are a sinner, and rejecting God's plan for salvation. If God, in his divine court room, cannot prove the sinner in front of him knew he was a sinner, and he rejected the salvation of Jesus Christ, God has the right to show mercy if he chooses to. You Calvinists may not like that, but the whole context of the Scripture implies that the sinner will know why he is being sent to Hell. If that is not possible because of mental illness, I do not believe God will send him to Hell. I will not be dogmatic on this, but I will also have nothing to do with people who lust to damn people before God gives the final verdict. When a preacher or theologian presumes to damn anyone to Hell before God does so, that preacher is demon possessed. Who is the accuser of the brethren?

Revelation 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

The other question that is troubling is, when is the age of accountability? If a twelve year old dies, are they still innocent, or are they accountable for their sin and rejecting the Gospel? What is the age where the mercy of God is cut off. The answer is, nobody knows? So, what is the solution to this? The answer is to give children the Gospel and teach them about sin and salvation when they are very young. Sing them Gospel choruses and songs. Help them memorize the Bible. I was seven years old when I heard the Gospel and it clicked for the first time. I had heard my Daddy preach the Gospel many times before that, but it was on the Children's Bible Hour from Back to The Bible radio that the Holy Spirit chose to get my attention. I went to my Mom and told her I did not want to go to Hell and I needed to get saved. She helped me confess my faith in Jesus. Every opportunity should be used to help a child learn about sin and righteousness and judgment in a way that he can understand. He will one day hear from the Spirit of God, and he will ask for help.

I find it very disconcerting when a Christian goes way out of his way to toss people into Hell. Let God do that please. He is the one who knows the heart of the sinner, and it is his business who misses Heaven and deserves Hell. If you really care, instead of trying to damn sinners, give them the Gospel. See if you can save some. If you are not trying to win souls, you have no business trying to pass judgment on them and damn them to Hell.

So, aborted babies go to Heaven. That is the bottom line here.

Many people wonder why God does not step in and save the babies by force. If it sounds rather harsh for God to allow abortion to continue, imagine please.....

If those babies were born into the homes of parents who would just as soon have killed them, what kind of life would they have had? They would have grown up to hate God and exalt murder and perversion. They would have been molested and taught to hate Jesus and his people. They would become crack heads and criminals and end up in prison. When God, in his sovereignty, withholds his deliverance from those babies in the abortion clinic, he is making sure they find him and spend eternity with Jesus who will love those babies. They are all there now with him. Election did work.

In case someone reading here missed the point, I do believe that God elects some to salvation as per Ephesians Chapter One. But, I also believe that God give man free will, at least starting at the age of accountability. The Calvinist, and the Arminian, cannot believe both of these doctrinal biblical truths, even though both are all over the Bible. The whole problem for these effete snobs is that they do not have the faith to believe what the Bible tells them:

Isaiah 55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

If my God has the divine attribute of electing to salvation at the same time he gives man a free will, I would not presume to fault God if I never figure this seeming contradiction out. God is full of contractions. He vents his wrath on some, while he shows measureless mercy on others. He causes the seas to rage while he notices a sparrow die. If you ever figure our God out, please stay away from me. I am just now, at age 77, getting used to living with my God, and I like him as the infinite contradiction he is.

This God, who assures me he loves me, took my sweetheart away from me recently. I am now learning that he had a very good reason for picking this point in time to do this. My wife was in a care facility and living with no short term memory. I would have had to visit her standing outside her room window, wearing a mask and face shield, looking like a visitor from Mars, and trying to explain to her, EVERY DAY, why I refused to visit her in her room and give her hugs. God took my wife exactly six days before America locked down. Does God really love me? Yes, but he also loves my wife. He can do both things at once. And, he can elect some to salvation while he is not willing that any should perish. If you cannot believe that, you are not a born again Christian. You are a lawyer with a 500 year old law code invented by a loser lawyer from the north of France who is screaming in Hell right now for the offense of murdering a Christian.

If God has mercy on small children, AND HE DOES, who are you to try to toss those babies into Hell?

I want a Calvinist to explain something to me. The angel of the Lord told Joseph and Mary to take the baby Jesus to Egypt and live there for a while. After Herod, who wanted to kill Jesus, was dead, God told them to return to Israel. Tell me, my dear intellectual Reformed giant, why did God do this? He protected David from Saul for years. Why couldn't God protect the baby Jesus from Herod in Israel? Do you suppose God had a reason for what he did, and he forgot to explain it to John Calvin?

Matthew 2:14 When he arose, he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt:
15 And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son.

Now, I will show you what God had planned in his sovereignty. Read Isaiah 19. As with all the other nations that are shown their future wrath of God on them in Isaiah, so is Egypt. But, beginning at verse 18 we see an amazing picture of God showing extreme mercy on Egypt and restoring her to glory. Egypt even has their own personal altar to worship God. This is one of two altars in the whole world during the Kingdom reign of Christ. Highway number one of the Middle East runs from Egypt, through Jerusalem, to Assyria, the Semitic version of the Camino Real. It becomes clear that God remembers the hospitality shown to his son in the day of Joseph and Mary. And, some of you are just sure God would not show any mercy on a baby who dies. You will be quite angry I suspect when you get to Heaven and find all those babies changed into the image of Jesus and greeting you.

Think..... Seventy million people have been rescued from lives that would end in Hell because God allows abortion to continue in America. We must still call it murder, but we must stop wagging our heads in wonder that it could happen. It is God's permissive will for those babies to be aborted. God loves them and uses their death to save them. I think some Calvinists are mad that God can use an abortion clinic to save souls his way. It so happens, friend, that when God decides to act he does not have to consult with the consistory of some Dutch Reformed Church.

A well known Bible teacher and pastor was sitting at a table in a restaurant with several of his deacons. A lady entered with a baby and a young boy of about five years of age and sat down at a table. The lady at once started nagging her son, and he at once started being very naughty. Soon, they were at war, and the whole restaurant was distracted by the lady's rage at the boy. It was a clear case of a child being raised by a very degraded mother, and it only got worse as time went on. One of the deacons watched this performance for a while, and he turned to the pastor and said, "Wouldn't it be a blessing to that kid if God took him home to Heaven?" We do not always have any idea what God is doing when he allows a child to die, but God always has a reason. It may be that he is being raised badly and would become a criminal or worse. It also may be that he will be accosted by some evil relative and molested or turned into a sodomite. Only God knows what is around the bend in the road, and in his mercy he may just stop the process and take the child home.

SELDOM HEARD DISCUSSION-
WILL INNOCENT BABIES BE TAKEN IN THE RAPTURE OF THE CHURCH?

This is a tough one. There is nothing in Bible prophecy to tell us if babies will be taken to Jesus in the Rapture. But, there are some reasonable thoughts based on the context of Scripture.

Read the text from Jonah again which is above. These were babies of heathen people, but God showed them mercy. This implies that babies and innocent kids of ungodly people today will not prevent God from again showing mercy. We are all born in sin, which means every baby on earth is a sinner right now. But, God is the one who will decide what to do about that. You and I do not have jurisdiction to decide the fate of any soul but our own. If God chooses not to hold someone responsible for their sin, does God need to ask your permission? I know..... some double domed Ph.D. from some seminary is reading this, and he is absolutely convinced that these babies will go to Hell. Stay in that seminary, sir, and ROT. Either that, or see if you can get to know the God of mercy.

What is at stake here? The Great Tribulation follows immediately after the Rapture of the Church. In that era of tribulation, the wrath of both Satan and God will be poured out on the earth, and at least two thirds of the world's population will be killed by war, famine, disasters, and plagues. If the babies, at the time of the Rapture of the Church, are held as innocent in God's eyes, it is consistent with his divine merciful nature to deliver those babies from horrible deaths during the Tribulation. Here is the text that tells us about who receives God's wrath:

1 Thessalonians 5:8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.
9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.

If God's divine nature prevents him from pouring out wrath on innocent people (in the text, innocent because they are born again), then we can assume that the babies who are also innocent will be taken in the Rapture.

The issue here is NOT your theology or what your denomination teaches. The issue is the nature of God. Does God have a nature to be merciful? Dumb question. He sent his Son to die on the Cross for sinners because of his mercy. Our human way of saying this is, "It is just NOT like God to send babies to Hell who have no knowledge of their own sin."

I like to think, when I read this verse, that Jesus is still in love with little kids.

Luke 18:16 But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.

This appears to me to be a sort of off the cuff remark by Jesus to assure us that children who die, and who do not know they are sinners, go to Heaven.

When I come on a pastor or evangelist who is easily irritated by children and avoids them, I assume he is possessed of devils. Only Satan and his servants hate children. To Jesus, the rapture is simply a fast track to his favorite little people.

1 Thessalonians 4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Do you want to charge your batteries? Think about those 70 million babies that the US Government and courts have approved to be slaughtered in the womb. Now, see if you can close your eyes and get a mental picture of those 70 million babies on their way up to see Jesus. Finally, look at those babies after they see Jesus and are like him. They will all be 33 year old male Jews, and they will be shouting praises in Hebrew. So will all the babies taken up in the Rapture of the Church.

The fearful thing about this discussion is that hundreds of millions of parents who reject the Gospel will suddenly find their young kids gone. It is important that you tell your unsaved friends that the Rapture of the Church is the first event in the wrath of God against rebellious sinners in the earth. Babies will disappear, spouses will suddenly vanish, banks will go bankrupt due to millions of loans and mortgages going unpaid, cars may crash, airplanes will crash. Basically, anything on earth that thrives and survives because Christians are involved will suddenly become a disaster. What a fearful way to start seven years of Hell on earth.

Finally, let us make one thing very clear..... If a child is old enough to know he is a sinner, he is old enough to confess faith in Jesus Christ and repent of his sin. If he rejects the Gospel at that age, and though he may be very sweet and charming, he will be left behind with his parents to suffer the wrath to come and very likely end up in Hell. So, grandpa and grandma, don't hide your light under a bushel. See if you can give the Gospel to your grandkids. If their parents will let them go to Sunday School with you, you are devils if you don't grab them and take them. The best memory you can leave your grandchild is that grandpa loved Jesus. Does the kid know that?

ETHICAL ISSUES SUGGESTED

REGARDING PICTURES OF ABORTED BABIES

I have a problem with the posting and distribution of pictures of aborted babies. The implication is that I may be responsible for that horrible scene. I suggest that Christians stop blasting the world with these pictures. They are also seen by children, and the parents have to try to explain horrors beyond the imagination to their children. There is a biblical basis for my concern.

Ephesians 5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.
13 But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.

There is a sort of exhibitionist aspect to posting gruesome abortion pictures. The person doing this is trying to show they are a pious hater of abortion. Well, how about posting pictures of whores on the street corner selling their bodies? Or, pictures of pedophiles seducing children. That is wicked too. We can figure out that this would be a bad idea as to propriety, but what about making a bloody horror show of killing babies? You will not make another Christian holy by making them puke, but you may make him hate you.

ARE THE DEMOCRATS AND RIGHT-TO-KILL PEOPLE
SENDING MORE PEOPLE TO HEAVEN THAN OUR CHURCHES?

Laodicea, the last of seven churches whom Jesus addressed in Revelation Chapter three, is all about a bunch of dead beat church members who believe they are rich and need nothing. They "name it and claim it." They give under the assumption that they are indebting God to them to make them rich. But, according to Jesus, they are poor and blind and wretched and naked. The average local church these days does not have a serious interest in saving souls. Contemporary Christian Worship is a fluffy floor show reminiscent of a New Orleans cabaret for aspiring whores. These churches long ago stopped giving the Gospel to the lost, and their members do not give the Gospel to anyone between Sundays.

So, God is saving souls his own way..... through abortion clinics. The murderous Progressive Liberals can kill the babies, but in his sovereignty, God has chosen them to salvation. The discussion above on the mercy of God toward the innocents should be applied to this discussion.

The terrifying thought is this..... Is the abortion clinic in your city sending more souls to Heaven than your church is by soul winning? If so, you might want to examine yourself and see if there be any wicked way in you.

WHEN YOU FIGHT ABORTION AND PROTEST AT THE CLINICS,
DO YOU FOLLOW UP THE MOTHER WHOM YOU CONVINCED
TO HAVE THE BABY INSTEAD OF ABORT IT?

Jerry Falwell Sr. is the only preacher I ever heard of who had a program to get the mother and new baby to Sunday School and Church after the mother was persuaded to have the baby. We also attended a church here in Texas that demonstrated in front of abortion clinics, and they made an effort to get mothers, who changed their minds and had their babies, into a church fellowship.

Is the back seat of your car empty as you drive to church Sunday morning? Could you pick up an unwed mother and her kids and take them to church with you?

If my Dad's neighbors had not invited him to ride to church with them many years ago, my Dad might have grown up to be a godless man and die of alcoholism like his older brother did. Church buses are for churches where the people don't want scuff marks on their car's back seats.

Every little kid on earth, when he gets into a car, hikes his heel up on the seat under him, and he shoves himself back into the seat. And, he leaves scuff marks on the seat. Jesus will one day show you a replay of the back seat of your car, and you will either rejoice, or you will cry, depending on how many scuff marks you see.

Don't go demonstrate in front of an abortion clinic unless you are willing, indeed eager, to follow up on the mother whom you convince to have her baby. That baby, if aborted, is better off being killed and going to be with Jesus than to grow up next door to a lecher Christian like you who does not give a damn if he goes to Hell.

STORY ABOUT A BABY WHO WENT TO HEAVEN

Jonathan was going to be a happy fun loving boy. His Daddy and Mommy had conceived him in the midst of their career as missionaries in Tanzania, Africa. Jonathan would have found his world both frightening and exciting. Those first days would be marked by mashed bananas, smoky milk delivered to the back door by his African neighbor, and lots of hugs from the other four members of his family.

Jonathan would have grown up playing in the weeds with an African hired girl watching for cobras that he might stir up. He would run to the lake and ride in boats, though he would never swim in the lake because of a very nasty disease in the water. Jonathan would have been taught to make roads in the dirt for his Dinky Toy cars by his two brothers. And, the bank behind the house would have become a virtual city where he could drive his cars from Mwanza to Nairobi in his imagination.

Jonathan would have grown older, and he would have one day been taken on his first hunting trip with his Daddy. He would see his Daddy shoot a zebra and an antelope, and, as he watched his Daddy dress the animals and reduce them to lumps of meat, he would learn that something had to die in order for him to live. His Daddy might even tell him the story of the day Jesus died on the cross so that he could live forever.

Jonathan would learn soon to be a great meat eater like his Daddy. Bananas and papaya are sweet, but red meat is for men. He would one day be given his first cup of coffee by his Mommy, and he would imagine he was becoming a man. At least that was what all the men he ever saw did. He would sit at the kitchen table while other missionary men told of hunting elephants, nearly getting mauled by a leopard, and shooting a hippo and falling out of the canoe backwards when the gun went off. There would be many sessions with those men that ended in roaring laughter, and Jonathan would learn that real men know how to laugh at themselves.

Later, Jonathan might get to climb Mount Kilimanjaro with his Daddy like his older brother did. That would be a memory that marked him as a rite of passage for the rest of his life. Jonathan would learn the art of leading a conversation around so that he got to tell one of his hunting tales, or of the time the car ferry sank while he was on it. Jonathan, when he went back to America and "home" to college, would be the center of attention with the girls because of his hunting tales. For the rest of his life, Jonathan would have to own at least one gun. Real men have guns.

Jonathan would have gone to a missionary kids' boarding school in Kenya. He would have been terribly homesick, but as time went on, he would learn to love Miss Ina Reed, or some other sweet teacher. As he grew older, he would become one of those boys who loved to pull pranks, and he would make friends of the Africans who worked for the school. He would learn Swahili, and he would try to discuss theology with the old Kikuyu workman who looked like a pirate. And, he would soon learn that theology is the last thing on the mind of an African.

Jonathan would borrow his friend's bike and ride up into the high forested land above the school. He would be invited to have tea with an old man who owned a tea shop up on the top. The old man would even bring out a roll of digestive biscuits and share them with him. Jonathan would grow older realizing he loved Africans, and they loved him. He would eventually learn to even think like an African, and it would feel very good.

He would eventually figure out that he was a bit of a freak because he could think with and talk to people who were totally different than he was. He would, later in life, find Africans to be among his best friends and his choicest memories. He would, even in old age, keep his walls covered with African gongs and trinkets to make sure he did not lose Africa from his psyche. And, at the end of his life he would sit in his living room chair and feel lonely because he was so far from "home."

Jonathan, in his high school days, would see a pretty girl in his class whom he decided was the best looking girl in the world. He would sneak peeks at her, and his hormones would get their first call to action as he let his imagination go. He would also soon learn that his thoughts were not probably what God wanted to see in him, and he would try to just look at the girl's face and auburn hair. That would not be hard to do. Jonathan, many years later, would marry that girl and serve the Lord with her for fifty years.

Jonathan would also be well liked on the college campus when he returned to the USA to attend college. He would he in demand at every coffee gathering where his tales of the highland forests of Kenya would keep them in suspense.

But, Jonathan died.

His Mommy had a miscarriage in 1958, and Jonathan went to be with Jesus.

Jonathan is my brother, and ever since 1958 my imagination has been challenged to wonder what Jonathan will look like when I first see him. He will be like Jesus of course, which the Bible promises, so he will be a 33 year old man who probably speaks fluent Hebrew. So will I, so that will be cool. All I know about Jonathan for now is that he was loved by his Daddy and Mommy and big brothers whose hearts were broken badly when he went home to Jesus. His Mommy had serious problems emotionally after that, and his Daddy had to help her through it many times.

Jonathan had another brother beside me. That brother became a committed sodomite, was totally absorbed by San Francisco, and died after fighting AIDS for 21 years, and he died cursing God. Jonathan will never get to meet that brother. But then, maybe God, in his sovereignty, knew something bad would have happened if Jonathan had grown up with a sodomite for an older brother, and God made sure that did not happen by taking Jonathan home.

You never know what God is doing when life takes a horrible turn. Just don't be among those who cause those horrible turns to happen.

Jonathan has been with his sister-in-law since March of 2020. His older brother is also getting pretty close to hugging him for the first time.

Every time a baby is murdered in the womb, a life story is lost. There is a lot more offense to abortion than the taking of a life..... it is the taking of a lifetime. The only consolation is that God takes that baby home and gives him an eternal life.

So, abortion is murder, and those who facilitate it, AND those who say they hate abortion but then make no effort to pass legislation to restrain it, are all murderers. Yes, your alleged Christian President supported abortion for many years as a Democrat. Only to fool you, he declared himself against abortion. A lot of Christians will feel very foolish at the throne of Jesus Christ as he sends some of their best friends to Hell for supporting abortion.

Numbers 35:31 Moreover ye shall take no satisfaction for the life of a murderer, which is guilty of death: but he shall be surely put to death. "No satisfaction" means no bail, and no payment of a fine. Death is mandatory for murder. All abortionists, and their facilitators, are worthy of death.

But, every aborted baby is worthy of the love of God, the attention of Jesus, and eternal life.

WHAT A GATHERING

TO MY CALVINIST FRIENDS

When I write or preach, I have learned to make it an absolute discipline to not write to you or preach to you personally. I work hard at keeping my mind on the truth, the Bible as my standard, and my own reasoning for what I say. If one of you come to mind, it is only that I worry that you will take my thoughts as a personal attack on you. If I ever think I should put the hammer to you personally, I shall come find you and go at it as brother to brother so that you can defend yourself and prove me wrong if I happen to be wrong. When I use the pronoun "you" it is in a general context to the reader. My thoughts here on John Calvin and his teachings are derived from my study of the man and his conduct and teachings. My God give us all light.

Having said this, I need to admit to you that I fully intend to expose John Calvin, and his teachings, as dangerous. And, that means that you, when you are promoting Calvinism, are equally dangerous. If that loses you some friends, so be it. I am totally pleased because you have no right to expect a rational Bible believer to bow with you at the shrine of John Calvin.

All I would say in parting is this..... if the occasion ever arises when a bereaved parent asks you where their baby is after an untimely death, you better think NOW about what you will say. If you try to put that baby in Hell, you will destroy the parents of the child, and if you are wrong, you will most certainly bring the wrath of God on yourself. Think about the millstone, my friend. Just let God be God, and be a comfort to the parents. It is the nature of a Hell bound Calvinist to carelessly hurt people while exalting false doctrine.

1 Thessalonians 4:13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
