INTRODUCTION:
This article sort of is the end of the line. I am now breaking all association with Independent Baptists. I don't trust any of them. I have a couple of friends who are in the movement, but I have to now assume that they are dirtied by the filthy garments of the priests they serve and emulate. I hope I am wrong. I have no hope for the Fundamental Independent Baptist movement. It is so far from the pictures of Jesus in the Gospels, and from the Early Church Era in the New Testament, that I know in my soul that it is doomed to end this dispensation in Laodicea.
This article is very depressing to me, for I must tell you what a fool I have been to waste my life associating with these men. I must also face the fact that I have no friends now. I am starting over at age 60, and if I did not have my wife, and my kids to get married, I think I would go off to China and try to get a job in a noodle factory. I hope things improve, but I don't expect much, so maybe I won't be too disappointed that way.
I now have several enemies who attack me and have slandered me openly on the Web. I got them all by standing with Fundamental Baptists. So, the only thing I have left now is my Lord and a few white hot mental White trash with a short man's complex and a devil controlling them. I have my family also, and that is a big help. I have friends made by this ministry on the Web, but these are not face to face friendships, and they never stop by for a visit. There is a shallow nature to the best friendship made on the Web. You cannot laugh with those who laugh and weep with those who weep over fiber optics.
Tennessee is green-- It is well salted from the Gospel impact over the years. This helps. Natural beauty is becoming my past time these days. I look at the handiwork of God more and more-- it seems clean compared to the picture of humanity I see. But, people are a real drag. The Rapture of the Lord's Church is near, so people will mostly be beasts. As long as I have to deal with beasts anyway, I would rather get an old yeller dog who doesn't scream and yell at me to tithe more and "be a man-- go street preaching."
Before we look at Fundamental Baptists in general, let us review the story of an eleven year old boy in Austin, Texas who was "ministered to" by Independent Fundamental Baptists:

Someone will say that we should wait until the court case if over. No, not necessary. The Thompson preacher boys' attorney, from their own church fellowship, said two things which damn the men. First, attorney Finney admitted the Thompson boys whipped Louie. Second, Finney admitted the Thompsons gave Louie the whipping in one of the Thompson's homes. These facts are all we need to understand that this was 100% unbiblical, and we know that it was unlawful in Texas. Furthermore; the fact that they nearly killed Louie tells us they were way out of control.

BLITZER: The child is reportedly conscious now, but has been in a local intensive care ward since the middle of last week. The incident allegedly occurred while the boy was attending a religious summer camp at the church, for Spanish-speaking children. But, church officials say that, because this happened at a subchapter for Spanish- speaking members, it's not a church matter, and they won't comment on camera. Still, the head pastor told our local CNN affiliate over the phone he was heartbroken over the incident.
Louie Guerrero, 11 years old at the time, was the first witness as the trial began Wednesday. He said after teachers complained he had been "goofing off" during Bible studies, pastor Joshua Thompson took him to Caleb Thompson's home where he was beaten with a branch from a tree in the yard.
...the beating lasted more than an hour and came the day after a confrontation at church between Joshua Thompson's wife and the boy's mother.
At one point, the boy said, he was told to pick up the pieces of the tree branch that broke during the beating. He said the beating resumed after one of brothers got a new stick...
Joshua Thompson's attorney, Gerry Goldstein, acknowledged that his client hit Guerrero with a switch from a tree and that he suffered injuries. But Goldstein said the boy's parents practiced similar forms of punishment and had asked the Thompsons to discipline their child.
They used an inch-thick tree branch to beat Louie Guerrero, an 11-year-old boy, for "goofing off" during Bible class because he was not taking preparations for a Scripture recital competition seriously. "The indication that we have is thgat (the boy) had been accused of cheating in memorizing Bible verses." Court records allege the beating was to physically "break" the boy for lying.
According to Taylor and family members, the beating occurred Wednesday while the boy and other children practiced for a Bible competition. "He was trying to find the verse and he was on the wrong verse, and they thought he was goofing around," the boy's mother said.
"I have not talked to my sons about this," their father, Pastor Hank Thompson, said Wednesday. "Almost everything I teach is to love your children and how to train your children. If I believed my son did what you guys are saying, I would have turned him in myself." Question, Hank-- Why did you beat your sons long ago when they lost at church quizzes? This is common knowledge from people who have fled your gulag.
A man who fled Capitol City Baptist told me personally that he bought into the child beating teaching of Hank Thompson. He said he beat his son horribly many times and has had to bed the boy to forgive him since leaving Capitol City Baptist. He said that if Child Protection people ever saw his son's back, he would lose his son to them.

I want to know why the deacons in the Capital City Baptist Church have not done something about those two brutes who bashed up the Hispanic boy in Austin, Texas.

Prayer request: Pray that little Louie will get well and that he will not turn on God and learn to hate God's people who love little children. Did any of you rough and tough rod wielding jackboot preachers weep for Louie? I bet you think that the best thing a Greaser needs is a good beating. I smell White supremacy in this filthy church.
Perhaps you do not believe the "Allegations"? So, why did Louie need a blood transfusion, why was he bleeding in his urine, why kidney failure? Just allegations no doubt.
Little Louie lied about learning his Bible verses so he could meet the requirements in a Bible memory contest. That is wrong-- that is sin-- and Louie should have discipline for that FROM HIS DADDY only. The admonition to chasten a child in the Bible is to FATHERS, not to the High Priest or the local church pastor. Louie's Daddy would know how to punish Louie, and if the Thompson goons did not like Louie's behavior that much, they could just ask the parents to take him out of the program.
There is a great lust for corporal punishment these days. Fundamental Baptist parents and jackboot preachers see the sin rampant in society, and they go to extremes in the physical rather than in the spiritual with Bible teaching. One very potent factor is the recent book,
"Train Up A Child"
by Michael and Debi Pearl.In this book the Bible is glaringly missing. Many chapters have not one verse of Scripture. The authors' teaching is all about their wonderful children and how utterly successful they were as parents.
The reader is encouraged to beat a child of a couple of months old until they cry and then until they stop crying. If Louie did not cry, that would explain why he "needed" to be beat for one and a half hours. This is the notion being promoted in Baptist jackboot churches these days. I believe some of these jackboot preachers should be whipped with a bull whip until they scream for mercy.
Just suppose.....
Jesus came roaring through door of his home in Nazareth and yelled at Mary, "Get the high sounding cymbals and sing loud. I have to beat on Peter's nephew for a couple hours. The brat lost his place reading the Torah in the synagogue."
We know a man in Texas who boasted that he started beating his babies at three months. We also know of a preacher who starved his son so badly for being naughty that the kid is now slow and retarded. That preacher had a great following in a country church in Michigan.His associate beat his baby daughter until she was terrified of her Daddy and cringed in public when he looked at her. She would run from him and cling to strangers. Well, jerk, sir, don't be shocked when she clings to some sleaze bum in the gutter one day who talks sweet to her.
By the way, about 99% of these baby beaters are King James Bible Only. This is my greatest frustration. This makes Bible believers look like beasts. The King James Bible is the source of the teaching on loving a child, and the verse above is from the KJV. Just because a fornicating, fat bellied, self-exalting Hyles clone waves a KJV in your face does NOT mean he believes one word in it. The devil would carry a KJV if he thought he could make you eat the forbidden fruit.
You know, we are now seeing alleged Bible believers who are possessed of devils and are planted by Satan himself in local churches. They are there to wreck havoc and make fools of godly decent saints. There were days in the 1950s through 1970s when we identified witches, Pentecostals, and Catholics who infiltrated the Fundamental local churches in order to divide and destroy them. I have wondered in the past twelve years why I don't hear about this anymore. Now I know why-- The devil now staffs the Baptist Bible Institutes and Baptist Bible colleges these preachers attend, and they are sent out twice the child of hell that a Jesuit priest is. Indeed, I know Catholic priests who would never touch a child. So, tell me, you who mock these pedophile priests, was Louie being loved better than the victims of the Vatican?
May I say that the House Church has never looked better than right now, right here in Laodicea? Someone tell Louie that we will find his Daddy and Mommy a House Church in Texas where they can go if they contact us.
One more thought-- I am a Baptist by doctrine, but I am convinced that Baptist local churches, 99% of them, are hog pens and sewers of Satan. They are over the hill just like all the other big denominations have gone during the past 50 years. I mean EVERY kind of Baptist, no exceptions. Their pastors love to have the high place, and they kick the face off of anyone who does not reverence them.
Also, the apple does not fall far from the tree. These two boys were clearly acting out what they had been taught by their father in his pulpit. Perhaps they too were beaten brutally over the years, and they have some sadomasochistic need to get their licks in some morbid revenge. Well, their "good godly" Daddy can visit them in prison and tell them what good boys they were to beat on Louie.
Baptist men do not weep with those who weep-- they are not touched with the burden of the whipped people. Many tough nut Baptist preachers mock at a preacher who weeps over sin and lost souls. They do not have tender hearts like Jesus and John. These men are the product of TV and American life. They have no ability to see the beauty in a flower, and they seldom look up at night, as king David did. Friends, these are the kind of men who get a rush out of violence. To them a gun, used in self-defense, is not used because sin is near. No, they LOVE guns and see them as power. So, when another man's son disappoints them, they can bash the daylights out of him and feel no remorse. Their attorney can claim that these violent men really were loving the boy they were bashing. This is madness. This is Kissinger new speak with a savage Baptist twist.
You may count on it-- Satan will be blamed, and thousands of Baptists will claim that the preacher boys got a bum rap. John Gotti had the same alibi.
Hank Thompson, pastor of Capitol City Baptist Church, is closely associated with some of the most Fundamental Baptist KJV Only ministries in the world. The tangled web of friends and fellow travelers is unnerving to me, for I have believed I was in good company with many of these people in the past. Lord, I am out of here-- I promise.
UPDATE: Hank Thompson has passed away, and I fear he was warmly received.
The two sons are now serving time in a Texas prison.
HOW DID THIS HAPPEN IN A FUNDAMENTAL BAPTIST CHURCH
First, as I said above, the apple does not fall far from the tree. Hank Thompson has been talking like he would be shocked if the boys were brutal. Well, the Thompson twins learned about discipline from experience and from listening to Papa preach on it.
Second, there is a temperament of violence and rage in almost every Independent Fundamental Baptist on earth. There is some sort of devilish mood cultured in these churches which is infectious. Bible Institutes and Bible Colleges also add to the mood. It is a mood of siege and defensiveness. Most Fundamental Baptist preachers talk regularly about Satan resisting them and their work. I believe this is all too often a clever cover story for their deficiencies and sins.The fat overweight preacher will try to account to his lethargic slow belly and lack of punctuality as interference by Satan. The fornicating preacher will produce devils in women who are always tempting him. It is never his fault. The porn loving preacher will claim he is checking up on Satan's turf when he is visiting a peep show. The bar hopper will say he was at the bar to rescue some church member who called him from the bar and asked for deliverance. On and on-- Satan gets a lot more credit than he deserves for the mess these preachers make of their own lives and the church they rule.
So, why did they beat up Louie? SNAP! The mind set took over, and the two preacher boys lost it. For this, if convicted, they will have to contemplate their good godly Baptist mind set for many years in the big house. And, I don't want to hear about "the devil made me do it," as in Rev. Flip Wilson.
MY WEB OF FRIENDS
I have stood with many Fundamental Baptists since about 1976 when our family came back from Kenya where we served as missionaries. At that time I joined the Independent Fundamental Churches of America (IFCA), and I thought I was on the narrow way. About eight years later I realized the IFCA was drifting away from a biblical position, and politics and powerful men were beating down those who tried to stand for the Word of God. So, I left, and I went looking for friends among Fundamental Baptists. I found some, but I also began to see the loonie tendencies of many Fundamental Baptists. I began to hear and see the rage and the libido driven hubris which bubbled up in their conversation.
The following is a compendium of samples of men from my experience. Some were close personal friends, and some were friends of my friends. What I have learned is that Fundamental Independent Baptists will sooner of later make a big fool of you. This is because they are VERY careless about associating with each other and asking no questions. This, over the past 15 years, has resulted in all Fundamental Baptists being implicated with natural brute beasts who have crept in unawares. Most of these men then go on to defend one another, kind of like the Mafia. They will black ball anyone who asks too many questions, and threats of litigation are not impossible.
I will not be identifying the last names of any of the following men, not even to my family. Don't ask please.
Tony--
Great friend. Was saved out of the Roman Catholic Church. He was in a KJV Only church where he was well liked by the pastor. But, his stand on Christmas was resented. The pastor refused to deal with the pagan origins of Christmass, as most Fundamentalists will not do. So, Tony was sent away. He fell in with tax rebels who were mild mannered at first, but he seems to have gone in deeper and is headed for prison if he acts on his convictions. Our friendship was trashed by him due to our position that Christians must pay their taxes.
Dr. R--
A letter from him in about 1978 drove me to investigate the KJV issue. I read Otis Fuller's book, and I decided the KJV was the only Bible in English, and that is the stand I intend to die on. Dr. R has some real practical theology problems. I have tried to overlook them, but they won't go away. His manner of teaching is rough and salted with racist comments about Black folks. This is covered for him by his groupies by the claims that he ministers to Blacks somehow on some occasions. His school for pastors sends many graduates to small churches in the world. The man is not a jackboot, so we simply have to leave him to the Lord.
Pastor H--
This man befriended our family, supported out Web ministry, and invited us to join him in his local church and start a fellowship of Christians around the world on the Internet. This man also tried to help extortionists take our down payment and steal it from us. We were rescued by God who used a Pentecostal lady to help us get our funds back.
Tax Rebels--
I have had fellowship with several Fundamental Baptist tax rebels. All I have ever gotten for it is pain. They demand I come their way, and they mock at anyone who does not hate Caesar for all causes.
The tangled web--
Here I want to discuss the interconnectivity of Fundamental Baptists. I decided to do a search on the Web based on the Thompson twin preacher boys. I was horrified to see almost all my friends, and their friends, and their friends, connected in a Web of alleged fellowship. All approve of each other, and many overlook things in the others which I know they don't like. It is a wicked club where the Holy Ghost is clearly not working. The Word of God rules out this sort of web of connectivity thus:
Amos 3:3 Can two walk together, except they be agreed?
Romans 16:17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.
18 For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.The principles of separation which Fundamental Baptists applied in the 1950s through 1970s was based in those two verses. They applied it to the Southern Baptist Convention, other Baptist denominations, and they "went independent" on the principles. But, NOW, they are overlooking the same things they hated in the past. They are a bunch of crooks who have stolen goods in their grip, or their buddies do, and they don't want to lose their place of influence with the guys. They love their place in the order of the peck, and standing apart from even one of the good old boys in crime would cause them to be distrusted and set aside.
Dr. Sam Gipp--

Dear reader-- If you are a Fundamental Baptist, please tell me how you overlook these blasphemies. What logic do you use to cover for Dr. Gipp? I really want to know, because those who know better, like you folks in Pensacola, have not got the guts to stand down Dr. Gipp. You complain about him privately, but why don't you deal with him? James White is way off and deserves to be rebuked for his trashy attacks on the KJV, but this new mediator thing is far worse than anything I ever heard from James White.
Also, tell me this, what good is it to defend the KJV and then blaspheme it in precisely the same logic used by the Vatican? All you need to do is change the word "pastor" to "priest," and any Cardinal would shout, "Amen." Sounds like the Baltimore Catechism.
Thompsons--
All I wish to add here was that Hank Thompson is very tight with evangelists and pastors around the USA in Fundamental Independent Baptist circles. They will almost all defend him and his sons no matter what the verdict is. It is a Baptist Mafia in principle. The terrifying thing is that Hank Thompson was tight with some men I have had associations with. Could I end up on some Federal list under suspicion?
Pastor GE--
Runs through the woods shooting up his deacons with paint ball guns. Has altar calls in which people are asked to come forward and covenant that they are 100% behind him, their pastor. If they don't come forward, they are excommunicated shortly thereafter. We had some good fellowship, but now we have to avoid them like a plague.
1 Timothy 3:8 Likewise must the deacons be grave, not doubletongued, not given to much wine, not greedy of filthy lucre;
One of the most revolting aspects of Fundamental Baptist loonie life is the bawdy rough and in-your-face behavior of these preachers. Some scream all the way through their sermons. Some have horrible table manners. Some claim the Bible teaches that men should go first before ladies. Some teach that a good wife should be kept bare foot and pregnant-- have babies as fast and furiously as possible. Some teach that you need to beat a baby by the time he is 30 days old or he will go bad for sure. Some teach that they, the pastor, are absolute rulers of the local church. Some even smash men in the face with their fists. Some teach that meat is of the devil. Some teach that vegetables are of the devil. Some have rude insulting things to say ALL THE TIME in public. They roar with laughter when someone is offended. They are not grave, they are goofy and a bunch of jerkwater fools.
Evangelist S--
This brother is a street preacher. He says that street preaching made a man of him, and he claims that a man is no good if he won't go street preaching. This rules out Abraham of course, and it rules out anyone who is handicapped and cannot get out on the street and spit, spew, and sputter. It also assumes that a man cannot be called of God to be a quiet servant and reach the lost one on one at kitchen tables. This evangelist uses military imagery to get attention on the street, which has always made me nervous. Why do men need to adopt a GI Joe image to win souls? If this brother feels like a man in his fatigues, hey, I am delighted, but his lust to be famous on the street has tangled him so deeply in the web of loonie Baptists that he will never be clean again.
Pastor JS--
Hyles man who is partially deprogrammed. He was a pretty good friend, but he had to insult and offend God's people to feel his oats. He used the first twenty minutes of every Sunday morning service to crack jokes and slam his deacons. They would slam him right back, like some bar room exchange. Just a bad taste about the man in general.
Pastor RB--
Brutal on his kids. Brutal on the men in the church. Helps teenage girls leave home and live with suspect people in the church. Hiding a rank adulterer. Threatens anyone who speaks of church problems. I thought the man was going to be a very useful servant of the local church, and I helped establish him there. I want to vomit.
Brother CH--
What a sweet brother. Runs a camp. But, what a compromiser. He has a great personal stand, but when the guru comes around, he melts and just wants peace at any price.
Pastor T--
Loves to spank teenage girls in his school with his bare hands. Are you there? Do you know what that is? The people have defended him and the men don't ask questions. Went to Bob Jones U. Where else?
Pastor ES--
This man vowed to destroy public education. This is not the calling of a saint. He also sported a fat belly. Yet, he had the nerve to complain in the pulpit that people should not serve him casseroles. He said, "Casseroles make belly rolls." He should know. He was a flaming Independent Fundamental Baptist and KJV only, yet he appeared on the same platform with Mr. Sun Myung Moon.
New Testament Baptist Church--
We visited there because the pastor booked us to speak about missions. The pastor went deer hunting and forgot to tell the man in charge we were coming. He booked two other missionaries to speak. We just faked it and said nothing about it. The young men all came in five minutes after the singing started in a group. They swaggered up front and sat in the front row. They did not sing, they screamed the hymn. The people sang so fast the pianist could not keep up. The song leader was flailing and sweating to keep up too and had to beg for mercy and slow down. The whole congregation laughed and speeded up instead. The whole church was a mass of rebellion in motion. The pastor later was convicted of sodomy with boys in the church-- he took showers with them to save water.
Dave's experience--
Dave has visited about six Fundamental Baptist churches in his city. They ALL are terrified of him. He knows his Bible too well. All the pastors he has tried to get to know are slow bellies, most being way overweight. They don't study and all preach on giving, loyalty, giving, soul winning, and giving. This is par for the course in all Fundamental Baptist Bible institutes and colleges. Dave has no fellowship now. All these preachers are terrified of him. He loves to open the Word of God and talk about anything there, while these fat boys love to open the menu and order Big Macs and banana splits.
Who is Exalted?--
"100% for Hyles."
This is the standard of dedication in some of the most obnoxious Fundamental Baptist churches. The men even wear these buttons with it written on them. Hyles has become a Baptist guru, and he is exalted even as he now burns in hell. That man basked in the glory and did nothing to inhibit the exaltation of himself. Since true saints exalt Jesus Christ and insist that they decrease rather than increase (John the Baptist), we know that those who exalt themselves, or invite you to exalt them, are damned to hell. Read that again please. It is Laodicea today, and pride is the first sin of Satan and of Eve. Thus, pride and self-exaltation are a sign of damnation in all religious pretenders.
There is something many Bible believers don't ever grasp. Why does the Pope seem so self-effacing and humble? Well, he does not need to exalt himself. It is done so well for him. Where ever he is, his handlers make sure there is a heavenly hush. Everyone speaks in a whisper. He is handed chalices of unbelievable value. Only HE can handle them. He does the Christmas Mass, the high point of all pagan religion worldwide. He will have the most powerful people in the world at his door seeking a blessing. The Pope does not have to exalt himself. Other men do it for him. Jack Hyles was like this in a Fundamental Baptist mode. I watched it myself. He looked so humble as he was introduced in terms Paul and Peter never used of even Jesus Christ. Hyles acted so humble, just like the Pope. So, Hyles was a Baptist Pope.
But, the average Fundamental Baptist preacher does not have the place in the order of the peck like the Pope or Jack Hyles, so he has to exalt himself. This is why the big self-exalting mouth that walks around the platform, around town, over to the preachers convention, and boasts of itself. Occasional bouts of humility will be interspersed for effect, but the main event is I and I and I and I and I and ME and ME and, oh yes, praise God, thank you Jesus.
Bragging about numbers and busses is one of the most pernicious vices of Fundamental Baptists. When a speaker is introduced to speak at a large gathering, he is exalted for the numbers he could gather and the monolithic building programs he accomplished. This is damned to hell. It is wicked. Virtually ANY sermon the jerk preaches thereafter has no power of the Holy Ghost in it. God will not bless arrogance and pride. You would do better to invite a sleaze comedian from a local bar. At least the message would fit the mindset of the leaders.
Keynote speakers. These are men of great note, for they can draw the masses by power of their name in the promotional literature. They may be living like moral dogs, but never mind, they will bring out the people, and that means a good offering. YOU KNOW I AM RIGHT,
Superior posturing in the foyer. Baptist preachers often adopt even a posture that is arrogant. They stand in a lofty manner, and they look down their noses. They park in a corner and collect a group of lesser lights in the order of the peck. The really brash ones will take the center of the foyer, or the fellowship area, and the will hold court and parley and referee conversation so that they are the broker of grand thoughts and mighty wisdom. Record this talk and listen to it later, and you will be startled at how utterly shallow such conversations are. Anglican bishops do the same thing, as well as Cardinals, but they have mastered the art of seeming to be humble while they perform their act. Fundamental Baptist gugus don't even try to be humble-- they demand the center of attention and blast away mercilessly.
What did the Bible say about seeking the high place?
Psalm 78:58 For they provoked him to anger with their high places, and moved him to jealousy with their graven images.
59 When God heard this, he was wroth, and greatly abhorred Israel:Luke 14:8 When thou art bidden of any man to a wedding, sit not down in the highest room; lest a more honourable man than thou be bidden of him;
9 And he that bade thee and him come and say to thee, Give this man place; and thou begin with shame to take the lowest room.James 4:9 Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.
10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.These Baptist slow bellies don't have a clue what it means to humble themselves. My old friend Bob S_____ did, but he was a rare one indeed. We see in the verse who does the exalting-- God. If I exalt myself with impunity, or I bask in the exaltation of other men, I am a damned fool, lost and on my way to hell. A saint does not go on and on this way without either repenting or getting chastened by God.
Romans 3:27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. If you boast, you are damned to hell.
Compare SIM and some AIM missionaries. When I grew up in Kenya and Tanzania I knew a number of missionaries who were very humble, and they were very much loved and respected in the Lord. Why? They had been tested by physical and spiritual sorrows and troubles. They knew their limitations very well, and they knew that any victory they ever saw was solely the work of the Lord Jesus Christ. When my wife and I were missionaries in Ethiopia with SUM, we knew a number of more missionaries like this. SIM was even then slipping off the narrow way into ecclesiastical compromise, but on the field there were many missionaries who were choice servants.
I think of Pastor Jack Johnson who came to Ethiopia out of retirement from Northern Ireland. He was so regressive in a way and common as an old shoe. But, all the missionaries loved him intensely. His walk with the Lord was so fresh and genuine, and he thought so little of himself.
Then there was Mr. Speedy in Asmara. He ran the guest house for the missionaries when they came to the city to shop and rest. He had been in Sudan, and his wife had died. He was white haired and should have retired by worldly standards. But, even though he did not know the local dialect, and though he thought he was of very little use anymore, none of us agreed with him. We loved him. His tea parties were such an oasis in the rat race of life. His excursions to help us find a bargain and collect a cup of coffee from his friend the Greek were a diversion refreshing. But, Mr. Speedy had a ministry. There was an Ethiopian Air Force Captain who came every week for Bible study with Mr. Speedy. I would take a look on the little one on one fellowship, and the expression on the captain's face as he sat with Mr. Speedy was one of reverence and awe. Mr. Speedy never noticed. He just opened the Word and taught the man about Jesus.
There were the Schmidts-- Tested fiercely by many trials, and so they were solid gold in Christ. But they knew they were nothing in themselves, so they were no threat to a struggling missionary with many questions. The Isaacs had seen many hurts and offenses we learned from others, but they never talked about them. They did their assigned work with joy. They were full of a merry heart.
You see, these fat rolly polly slow bellied jackboot Baptists are given to appetite, and they have not been tested. They demand to be treated right, they demand a new building, and they demand the place of importance. They campaign for attention constantly, and they love those who feed them and exalt them. They have not been tested for the long haul-- they refuse to stay in a church that is not growing. They will not start over after building a church up in numbers. They believe in "building a résumé." Going to a place with no church and starting over is irrational to consider to these scum.
Baptist missionaries are the same. We have seen two exceptions, but generally, Baptist missionaries will not stay in one spot long enough to really establish a solid New Testament local church. They are hit and run soldiers. Some of them don't even live in the nations they claim to serve. They live in North Carolina, and they have a Mexican in Monterey who forwards all their mail back to the states for processing. This HAS happened more than once.
If you are a starting missionary, they have lists you can get which tell new missionaries where local churches are which will give a good offering, where they put you up in a nice motel, where someone in the church will do the wife's hair, on and on. These Baptist missionaries are twice the children of hell their pastors are. Their mission boards lie and cover for the missionary as long as the missionary hands a percentage to the mission board director.
2 Corinthians 10:12 For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.
13 But we will not boast of things without our measure, but according to the measure of the rule which God hath distributed to us, a measure to reach even unto you.Some slow belly will claim that all his boasting is in the saints and in the Lord. Bah! I hear it, and I know it is all "I" boasting. The "in the Lord" baloney is like when Benny Hinn flings his coat, roars with pride, and then says, "let's give Jesus a big hand." Same phony rubbish. The verse is clearly teaching that boasting is dangerous and better never lift ME up. God is a jealous God, and he has no intention sharing his glory with an over weight big mouthed Baptist clone of David Letterman.
Romans 12:3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
In your face authors--
I am sick of books that have a great message, some fair research, but the manner of the author is rage. Fundamental Baptist writers don't know how to see the blessings, the beauty of holiness, the heavens declaring the Glory of God, or the "blessed quietness" they sing about from the hymnal. They fail to see the value of small humor and irony, as well as the medicinal value of a merry heart. Basically, Fundamentalists are terrified of quietness. "Be still and know that I am God" is only for when they are sitting on the pot.

I get the sad tales of this Fundamental Baptist jerk program from all over the world. It is an epidemic in the UK, Australia, The Philippines (thanks to Dr. R who goes to fire up their rage), Japan big time, parts of Europe, Kenya, India, and just all over the world. This is the work of Fundamental Baptist missionaries. We had one in Ethiopia. He wore a Stetson Hat and wore two revolvers where ever he went. To Ethiopians, this was about as appropriate is catering ham sandwiches to a bar mitzfa. This man did nothing to win souls, but he sure made everyone around him nervous about the word Baptist. You cannot go anywhere on earth and be completely free of jackboot Baptists.
The wimp factor and this raging in your face zeal--
These tough in you face boys are only tough with each other and with the sheep. They scream at the saints for more giving for the building fund, they threaten deacons and kids physically, but the sleaze wimps will not get in the face of the wicked. You can bet the big tough Thompson boys would not take that tree limb they used on Louie and go break up a bar or adult bookstore.
The porn and sodomy factor--
Fundamental Baptist preachers are vastly infected with an addiction to porn. I have heard various stories about them at pastor's rallies where they ordered porn on the motel TV. These men are NOT the God fearing men they claim to be. Many of them have secret sexual sins and whores in their churches who regularly service them. They are not caught because Baptists don't have accountability, and they cover for each other. They don't believe their fellow pastors would have problems with sexual sin.

This man is said to have led 300 people a week to Christ. He also led his church secretary to bed, led her to Hawaii with him without his wife along, and he told the secretary's husband he should let her divorce the husband because the jackboot preacher needed her more than the husband. Right! Barf. But, the man ended his life with no one in his church asking any questions. He is still a legend after his death.

Quiet
Psalm 35:20 For they speak not peace: but they devise deceitful matters against them that are quiet in the land.

30 Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he bringeth them unto their desired haven.Beware of men who crave storms all the time.
Proverbs 1:33 But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.
This is wisdom speaking. Check it out. So, when there is always loudness, noise, busy busy busy, and raging over all manner of boogie men, you can be sure there is a fool preacher at the bottom of it. Quiet preachers bring calm and peace to the assembly.

Attack the right enemy

Never mind-- Some of these jackboots get a real rush out of bashing sheep. That is why they lose them. That is why we find those sheep ten years later in the back corner of a bar, broke, and silently weeping and wondering what happened. Some Baptist bully boy long ago got his licks in and beat the beegeebers out of them. The same late great Baptist bish-sop melts and rolls over and pees on himself like an old cur dog when he has the opportunity to confront a demon possessed sinner or a rich man about town who is a well known criminal. Yawn.
1 Corinthians 1:11 For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you.
The average Baptist preacher thinks that when he starts contention it is a work of the Holy Ghost. He has bought into the notion that the wars and fights he generates in the church house are a ministry to the people destroyed by them. Some of these men will take a church down until they have to lock the door on the thing. At the pastor's convention no one questions his wisdom, of which he has none. They just give sympathy and help him find another church to do it again.
1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
If you want to do battle, do it with the roaring lion. When the Masai go to kill a lion, they surround the lion, and then they close the circle slowing. They yell at the lion and beat on their shields as they come closer and closer to the lion. Finally, the lion panics and leaps on one of the warriors. It could be anyone in the circle. At that point, the lion does not know the chief or the strongest men. The man who is leaped on plants the butt end of his spear in the ground, keeps the shied out to try to avoid the claws, and he aims the working end, the point of the spear, for the lion's heart as the lion lands on top of him. It takes nerves of steel. The man whom the lion leaps on will then pop out from under the shield and away lion as fast as possible, and the other warriors, who have converged instantly on the point of action, throw all their spears into the lion. The man whom the lion leaped on usually gets scratched up a bit, just enough to show off for years around many a campfire. But, if the battle was in the hands of men of steel nerves, everyone went home singing and carrying the lion in victory.
What if, after the lion leaped on one of the men, all the rest of the warriors threw their spears at that men instead of at the lion? And, you wonder why they keep walking out the door of the church, right?
Soul winning one on one
Proverbs 11:30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.

29 Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot.You know the rest of the story. This is an account of one man going to a lot of trouble to win one soul. However; there is no record of door to door evangelism in the New Testament in the pattern of mass door banging we see today in the frantic mind of the average Fundamental Baptist preacher.
One old vicar in England, about two hundred years ago, was told by his vestry (church board) that he was too old to continue as their vicar, and they asked him to arrange to retire. Broken hearted, he went out to sit on a wall in front of the church building. As he sad there, depressed and hurting, a boy of about ten walked by. The old vicar set aside his pain and sorrow, and he called to the boy to come and talk with him. The boy did so, and the vicar, before the boy went on his way, had led the boy to saving faith in Jesus Christ.
Who was the boy? William Carey, who eventually went to India as a missionary and translated the Bible, or portions of it, into 22 Indian languages. The vicar died broken hearted, never knowing the fruit that awaited him in the Glory. If you need to street preach and yell at large crowds, well go right ahead. The fruit that remains is won one by one. I would rather win one William Carey than walk up to the judgment of our works with a thousand notches on my gun, only to see Jesus toss the gun in the fire and burn it up because my motives were wrong.
Zechariah 4:10 For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth.
Study to mind your own business
1 Thessalonians 4:9 But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another.
10 And indeed ye do it toward all the brethren which are in all Macedonia: but we beseech you, brethren, that ye increase more and more;
11 And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;Mind your own business. Look after your own heart in the assembly, and that especially applies to pastors. Pastors are forever meddling in the personal lives of the saints and telling them how to live and how to glorify God. Some of these bully boys even tell the saints when to have babies and how many. I have to wonder if they don't have a morbid libido problem and get a rush out of supervising the marriage bed from afar. One Fundamental Baptist preacher in Michigan even demands the women bring their dress patterns to him to get his approval before sewing them. What a creep! Mind your own business. Preach holiness, and then see if the Holy Ghost knows how to apply the message to the listener without your ever present supervision.
Teach
John 21:15 So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.
16 He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.
17 He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.Jesus also told the disciples to preach the Gospel. That is very clear elsewhere, but these modern Fundamental Baptists seem to have forgotten about feeding sheep. Oh, they know how to fleece the sheep, and they know how to bash sheep, but to feed them? They don't have time to dig for the feed-- meaning STUDY. So, they find a thousand ways to start at some verse and run to the Romans Road. For this reason, the sheep are starved and don't know it.
2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Paul spoke that to a pastor. These bully boys want to be called "pastor," but they don't want to study. O, they are good at fishing for bass, they get their deer every year, and they keep that big belly blimped out at the equator real well at McDonald's, but they don't have time to study. It all starts at the Bible institute and Bible college. The instructors teach the boys to memorize and regurgitate-- they never learn to dig for themselves. So, some of the beggars don't have a clue what Bible study is. Thus, they never teach, though they call what they do teaching.
Know thyself
Socrates said that. So, is it useful according to the Word of God?
Psalm 90:12 So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.
Moses suggested you decide what will be the final use of your existence. You only have so many days to serve God. Does this thought make you wise, or are you a wise guy? Maybe the hope of heaven makes you think you just jerk and jabberwolk your way through life, and you will one day die and move into your mansion. Well, while you are HERE, how about making something useful of your fool self?
1 Peter 1:17 And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:
Do you Fundamental Baptist preachers have fear? Or, are you busy making all the sheep fear YOU? Big rough zero. That is what you are. You don't give a second thought to what God really wants, you just WANT your new church building. You just WANT to double your attendance in Sunday School. What does GOD WANT from you before your sojourning is over? You know, you just might have to go off in the woods for a day and sit still and see if you ever have heard from God in your life. He sure didn't tell you to bash sheep and beat little Mexican boys til they are nearly dead.
A sense of wonder
Psalm 19:1 (To the chief musician, A Psalm of David) The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
Psalm 50:6 And the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for God is judge himself. Selah.
Psalm 97:6 The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see his glory.
Do you believe that? You do? Well, what do you learn about God from looking up at night? If you don't have a sense of wonder, a God given craving to hear from God in his creation, you are in deep trouble. I must say that about 99.5% of all Fundamental Baptists have no sense of wonder over the simple beauties of nature. They leave that to the grounds keepers. It is considered sissy behavior to smell roses with these big bully bucks of Baptistville. The only time they notice the flowers is if they are missing from the communion table. That better not happen again. The slow bellies also like flowers if they can go in the salad of course. Day lilies are good for that.
Finally, Shall we Chasten our children?
Answer: Yes
The question is how.
Psalm 6:1 O LORD, rebuke me not in thine anger, neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.
Three is every reason to believe, from court testimony and eye witnesses, that the Thompson Twins were enraged with Louie Gerrero. Rage is the ONLY way to account for a 90 minute beating.
It is not the nature of God to go after one of his sheep in hot displeasure. He chastens because he loves his sheep. He might rain fire on sodomites, but not on sheep.
Hebrews 12:6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
You want to know about the rod, right? If you can prove I think the use of the rod is wrong, you can dismiss this whole discussion because you can pitch me in with the Whiskeypalians, right? Fine, here is the use of the rod.....
Psalm 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
If you use the rod on your child, and if he is not comforted, you failed him and God.
Go figure.
CONCLUSION
Just get out of the Fundamental Baptist loonie bin. I know of men who have just turned and walked away. If you are pastoring a church, teach on these things and tell the people stories from you knowledge. Examine your heart, and confess sin if you have been a bully of God's sheep. One pastor in Pennsylvania did this, and his people ran him off, right? No, the brother humbly confessed being a jackboot, and the people loved him and begged him to stay. He was going to leave, but the deacons assured him that he was now where God wanted him, and they wanted to keep him. They would have a terrible time finding such a humble man again.
Furthermore; you are called of God to be right with God, not your buddies at the pastor's meetings. So what if they think you have gone mushy? Let them go on feeding their bellies and egos with the adulation of silly underfed sheep. You get right, and you will have the approval of God. Also, for the first time, you may have the joy of being one of the men among the men instead of always thrashing them and wondering if anyone loves you. I KNOW that is what you wonder many times. The reason you spend so much time feeling sorry for yourself is not because everyone is Laodicean except you. No, No, preacher. You feel lonely because you are a bully, and the sheep follow afar off-- just out of reach. So, they are not your close friends. If you think that is cute, you are a devil and are on your way to hell. Your instincts are not Christian.
Let's get some local churches out of the Fundamental Baptist hog pen and just be Bible believers. You say, "But, what will become of our Fundamental Baptist heritage?" To hell with it. The heritage of the Lord's Church has never been Baptist. The heritage of the Lord's Church is as follows:
Exodus 6:8 And I will bring you in unto the land, concerning the which I did swear to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it you for an heritage: I am the LORD.
God gives a heritage to whomever keeps his covenant-- which, in the Age of the Church, IS the Church. The Baptist movement is NOT the only place God has his heritage. You are a raging bigot if you think you can tell God he can only have Baptists. Blasphemy.
Psalm 16:5 The LORD is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot. 6 The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage.
Is it OK with you if you just have the Lord? Do you have to belong to a thing called a Baptist whatever? Are you satisfied with Jesus, where ever you find him?
Psalm 61:5 For thou, O God, hast heard my vows: thou hast given me the heritage of those that fear thy name.
Once you turn away from the jackboot gang, you will be startled at all the people God has who don't know how to be a Baptist. They are just born again, and they would love to have your company. Right now, you will never meet them, and if you did, you would try to retread them before you would love them. Get right!
Psalm 111:6 He hath shewed his people the power of his works, that he may give them the heritage of the heathen.
So, you want to win souls, right? I promise you that you will not win souls in this Fundamental Baptist mode, that is, with fruit that remains, like you will if you stop preaching "Baptist" along with Gospel.
Psalm 119:111 Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they are the rejoicing of my heart.
Are you really KJV Only. Well, what if you were nothing but a Bible believer? What if no one ever heard that you are a Baptist? Would the Word of God be enough for an heritage? Be careful how you answer friend.
Psalm 127:3 Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
I hope you have your quiver full, as David said. I don't like this doctrine that we should be having all the babies we can produce in the next ten minutes. But, if you have kids, is that enough? What if all the souls you ever won to Jesus Christ were your kids? Would you rejoice? Abraham didn't win souls outside of his family. Check it out. All those years, and he never went street preaching in Sodom. No "God hates fags" signs waving. Hebrews 11 says nothing about Abraham winning souls, but God counted him as righteous. Would you be happy to just have all your kids saved if that is how it worked out? This lust for numbers, as in the Hyles loonie bin, is obscene. God can count you know. He knows how to get the ones he plans to save. All that is required of a real steward is to be faithful, and the Lord adds to the Church such as should be saved. Or, have you deleted Acts 2? Get you kids saved, then ask for a few more as the Holy Ghost chooses to add.
1 Peter 5:2 Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;

Answer: NO! They are God's heritage. So, stop owning sheep, and rustling sheep, and beating sheep, and fleecing sheep, and be one.
By the way, friend, there is no such thing in the Bible as a "Baptist heritage." Honest, check it out in your Strong's Concordance. :-)

I have seen, in the attempted murder of Louie Gerrero, and in hundreds of stories from our readers, AND in my own observations in Baptist land, that Fundamental Baptist preachers NEVER confess sin. They do not admit guilt, even when caught. Witness the asinine preaching of Jack Hyles when he was caught using his church secretary as a concubine. He preached his way out of a corner with sermons on restoring fallen preachers, but he never admitted his sin. Again, Fundamental Baptists do not know how to confess sin.This causes me to conclude that these preachers are damned to hell. How can a man who has allegedly confessed his sins to Jesus Christ in repentance, refuse to confess sin against a brother? Fundamental Baptist preachers rage and froth at the mouth when blasting sinners in the pew with their need for repentance and confession of sin. Show us how to do it, you jerk! They cannot have ever understood what confession of sin is. I think some of them do not even believe sin is sin. They only acknowledge that being caught is troublesome.
These men are bastards, not sons.

I believe Joshua and Caleb Thompson are in prison in two ways.They are in the prison of the State of Texas for crimes they committed. That is bad enough. They have many years ahead of them to watch over their shoulder for some Hispanic inmate who wants to find revenge for Louie. But, they are in a far worse prison.
These two men are in prison to their father's and mother's expectations for them. The only way Hank Thompson can save face is by his sons' denial of guilt. The two sons have been made martyrs by their parents, and by hundreds of jack boot damned-to-hell Fundamental Baptist preachers around America. To admit their culpability, in any way, would be treason. These two men are in the prison of their heritage, and they cannot break out of it any more than they can escape from the stone walls of Caesar.
Weep for them, my friend. By the time they are free, they will probably be insane. A person cannot make a life calling of a lie and not be permanently mentally maimed.
And, do take it to heart as you raise your own kids. Do not make your kids an extension of your personal security of soul and mind. Never ask you kids to cover YOUR dirty derriere by denial of sin-- confess sin for yourself. And, if your kid has sinned, and his or her confession would make you look bad, DEAL WITH IT. Shut up, and thank God your kid wants to be clean.

We have found an Independent Baptist church here in central Texas where we can fellowship. There is no jackboot infection, and the pastor has broken associations with many who walk disorderly in Independent Baptist churches in the USA. We have also learned in the last few years of a number of Fundamental Baptist churches that are not infected with the cancer of jackbootism.
