BUDDHISM
AND HINDUISM FINDING THEIR WAY INTO THE MAINSTREAM
Inscription
on the Toshogu, Japan shrine to Tokugawa Ieyasu: "May Christ, Gautama, Mohammed,
and the Sun Goddess sit beneath the cherry trees of Ueno one day and share
a pot of tea." Are Bible believer's giving way to this blasphemy?

1996, p. 39 Buddhism and Hinduism have deceived missions through the
years. Transcendental Meditation and yoga, two practices integrally linked
to the Buddhist and Hindu religions, are heathen in origin and philosophy. However;
these teachings continue to be accepted and taught, not only in religious groups,
but also in education and business circles. A recent example of this was
reported on the business page of our local San Luis Obispo County Telegram-Tribune,
Dec. 23, 1995. A description of the techniques used by Sun Management Consultants
of Atascadero (father and son team) was given. Note by Editor: Balaam's
Ass Speaks: There is an organization in Wyoming, Michigan called SUN,
which stands for Spiritual Unity of the Nations. They are followers of Master
Bey and the Ascended Master the Christ. They are possessed of devils, of
course, and they are known all over the nation. It sounds very much like
the consultants in Atascadero, California, are in the SUN Network. They
would probably deny it, and they could claim no direct links, but those of our
readers who know the "networking" principles of the New Age Movement will recognize
the connection. Note: I, as editor of Balaam's Ass Speaks,
interrupt those I use frequently. This is not out of disrespect, but I am
called of the Lord to pull these things together and enhance the impact for your
edifying. I trust you understand. End of note by Balaam's Ass Speaks

article cont: Note the following excerpts: "John was the first to learn
to meditate, and, in fact, later taught his father. John learned Transcendental
Meditation in 1978 while he was still struggling through high school. 'I
heard it was something that would improve grades,' John says. 'Sure enough,
I started getting straight A's.' " "Transcendental Meditation involves repeating
a meaningless sound over and over for about 20 minutes two times a day. It's
important that the sound be meaningless" said John, "because the goal is to transcend
active thinking and achieve a level of calmness. It's a deep rest
that is two and one half times deeper that the deepest sleep." The caption
of this report says, "A fresh approach: The father-son team of David and John
Freeman bring plenty of business experience- along with some unconventional strategies-
to their consulting work." "There's no magic, no mysticism involved,"
says John, "the bottom line shows it's a good thing to install." Note
by Editor: Balaam's Ass Speaks: The "meaningless" word is
called a mantra. It is usually given as a secret by a guru type of leader,
and the one who receives the mantra word guards it carefully. The truth
is, it is NOT meaningless. It is either the name of a devil who is being
called up by the TM user, or it is some form of blasphemy in a KNOWN language.
Examples of these mantra alleged "meaningless" words
having infiltrated the Lord's Church are the many words used in Charismatic tongues
speaking services which are never interpreted. The absolute classic TM mantra
word, one of exquisite blasphemy, is the two word phrase, "Shandilymai Shundai."
"Shandilyamai" means, in Vedanta Hindi, "In praise of the mother goddess."
"Shundai" I have yet to decipher, but I expect to get it soon, and I expect a
sexually filthy word. I know personally of one other such scene
in a Charismatic church in Arizona where a man claimed to "have a tongue" and
was repeating a mantra word over and over. The man next to him was born
again, and knew the word from Army days in Indonesia where he learned the language
which originated the word. He turned to the speaker and told him, "Friend,
you are saying, "Eat shit." The speaker was horrified and fell into abject
despair. Thousands of such "mantra" tongues stories are available to those
who ask around a bit. Send any you can verify. John Freeman's
claim that the TM technique is not mystical is absolute bunk. "And the farmer
hauled another load away." This claim is to draw in businessmen into their
consulting firm and send them out "twice the child of hell" they were when they
entered. End of note by Blessed Quietness Journal Editor.
FOUNDATION article cont: John and David Freeman are deceived and
are deceiving others. Just because some "unconventional strategy" appears
to work at a given moment does not mean that it will not prove to be a dangerous
crutch which will prevent people from finding the help they need in Jesus Christ
and His Word. [ The writer noted the following Bible text. ]
Psalms 1:1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel
of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of
the scornful. 2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his
law doth he meditate day and night. 3 And he shall
be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in
his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth
away. 5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor
sinners in the congregation of the righteous. 6 For the LORD knoweth
the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
I
dare say some saint is asking, " How could Buddhism fool Bible believers?"
May I ask you where the words came from in the chorus to the song, "A
Little Talk With Jesus"--
"...And
then we know a little fire is burning, And we know a little prayer wheel's
turning..." There
is NO fire burning, nor is there a prayer wheel, in any of God's Word for
either Israel or the Church.
See
the Buddhist prayer wheels in the photos for the interpretation of the song words
above. Note the hand held prayer wheel and the ones mounted in the Buddhist temple.
Here
are the words of Buddhist Lama Zopa Rinpoche: "There are earth, water, fire
and wind prayer wheels. One of the benefits of the prayer wheel is that it embodies
all the actions of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the 10 directions." You
see, the prayer wheel is stuffed with bits of paper on which are written prayers.
When the devout Buddhist spins the prayer wheel he believes that the prayers ascend
to heaven once every time the wheel spins. So, "A Little Talk With Jesus"
was slipped to us by Buddhist devils! Also, do remember please-- Buddhists will
tell you they like Jesus. He is an Ascended Master and good Prophet to them. VIDEOS--
