JACKBOOTS IN THE PEW--
DEMONIC GUERILLA TACTICS:

Micah 3:5 Thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that make my people err, that bite with their teeth, and cry, Peace; and he that putteth not into their mouths, they even prepare war against him.

JACKBOOTS IN THE PEW--
DEMONIC GUERILLA TACTICS:

By Steve Van Nattan

The Jackboot in the pew did not occur to me in the beginning of this series, but it has been forced on me. There are devils in the pew, and outside the local church, which have a Jackboot agenda. These are people who use the local church for a habitat from which they seek to take charge of the saints and destroy the Lord's Church from within. They use legalism, subversion, disinformation, the Internet, frame ups, theft, accusation, physical threat, psychological manipulation, and litigation to entangle the saints and church leaders in warfare with one another.

Some of these devils in people also leave the local church and then seek to destroy it from a distance. They, now days, have the Internet as a very special tool. They also use E-Mail to spread slander and threats.

The problem is, there is little or no recourse for the victims. Bible believers are slow to go to law against these people, and civil authorities have little impact or control over Internet use or the use of E-Mail. When alleged saints attack the believers of a local church and their leaders, the civil authorities seem to think it is all a religious matter. Meanwhile, pastors have heart attacks, and saints are destroyed financially. They have no friend on earth at such times.

I want to consider a Bible verse here:

1 Timothy 5:8 But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.

This verse is commonly applied to a man going to work and providing food, clothing, and the advantages of life for his wife and kids. I am 100% convinced that it also includes defending the saints of the local church, but especially defending one's wife and family. It also includes a pastor defending the saints. In the Old Testament, David, Jehu, Phinehas, and Jael, were people who very physically defended the downtrodden and the oppressed with brute force and stealth. In those days, Moses law and God's commands demanded that a person from time to time attack and kill the wicked in defense of the people of God.

We are not talking here about the average trouble maker in the local church. These people can be sent on down the road by leaders who have the fortitude to act. We are not talking about personality problems and troubles caused by disagreement over doctrine or church life. We are talking about people who are using guerilla tactics-- They intend to break people mentally. They intend to destroy and kill the saints of Christ with stress and heart attacks. They intend to wipe a saint out financially. They have a demonic mind and are driven by a lust to destroy, and they often say so openly.

They will hack computers and destroy a saint's vocation, they will send filthy letters to godly ladies, they will enter other people's computers and read their E-Mail. They will slander and defame the saints publicly in order to destroy the ministry of pastors and the local church. These people relish the most severe pain and suffering they may be able to cause. This is NOT persecution-- This is a case of devils in certain people who have dedicated themselves to do maximum damage to homes and the Body of Christ.

This kind of animal dances a jig when they hear they have driven a saint to a nervous break down. This is a twisted mind which rejoices in seeing pain and suffering they have caused. This is a christianized Osama bin Laden. No tactic of destruction is left out of their bad of tricks. This is Jihad in the church house.

I also must briefly note the Charismatic gurus and "apostles" who have visions in which they report that God is allegedly dividing Christendom into two camps, the Charismatic warriors and we the evil non-submissive Bible believers. Several top men in Charismania are calling for the literal killing and death of anyone who questions their program. I fully believe the day may soon come when Chrismatics will go forth to hunt down Bible believers. I also fully believe that I will commit myself to God AND my .357. My family and the saints are not called to be killed by devils in sheep's clothing just because they give lip service go God.

Today, the whole world, the USA, the UK, Australia, Europe, Canada, and the UN have led the way in demanding that the citizen NOT arm and defend himself and his loved ones. The local law man is to be called, and if he and the legal system cannot defend the victim, the victim is conditioned to sit still and be used and abused quietly. We are told that, "There is nothing we can do at this time."

Here is what I believe is demanded of the man of God when his family and the Lord's saints are being attacked by devils in other men:

1. Use any law or enforcer of the civil authority who will help.
God gives us some good law enforcers. They must be asked to help if they are willing.

2. In the event that the local law men cannot defend you, use virtually any resource that stops the evil.

3. Don't talk openly about your choices, and don't feel any guilt for your actions--
Arm yourself-- Attack-- Eliminate the problem.
A sheriff once told me that a good defense is to always give back more force than you received.
Do what is needed to convince the wicked, or take them out of the experience of the saints.
And, do only enough to accomplish the objective.

4. Don't whine if you are later defined as a criminal.
The world at large is very tolerant of those who attack the Lord's people. They will thus declare you to be an evil person for defending your family and the Body of Christ. A men came into the office of Pastor J. Frank Norris one day with a gun and told him he was going to kill him. The man had been put up to it by ungodly men in Dallas, Texas who hated Norris's stand on sin. Norris pulled a gun out of his desk drawer and shot the man dead.
Know this--
When you use force adequate to defend your family or the saints, you stand for holiness.
For this, there is a reward from God.

5. Better yet, don't get caught, and don't make a habit of this. It is not a calling to use force to gain peace. It is merely the need of the moment, and then life must return to normal responses and activities.

6. Forget the courts-- Peace and safety must be defended, not brokered.
Arranged peace by compromise is shown for its mongrel character in the life of Henry Kissinger. As he is about to die, he looks back on abject failure in virtually all of his peace shuttles over the years. Every place on earth where Henry sat down and allegedly made peace by negotiation is today in chaos. On the other hand, Ronald Reagan brought peace to Granada in about three days, and it has stayed that way ever since. It was done with deadly force. Satan makes no treaties-- his servants do not WANT peace. Only deadly force will restrain some wickedness. After September 11, there was no discussion with Osama bin Laden-- Only the lust for his death. Why? Osama is not a reasoning animal. He must be stopped with deadly force.

7. Pray for peace, and use force very secretly so that you and I are not constantly stirring one another up to wrath. Tough talk is not a defense-- action at the correct moment IS a defense. Virtually every Black Church on the South Side of Chicago has several deacons who carry pistols. This is not for hubris or "self-defense." It is to protect the saints. It is 100% illegal by defined civil law, but it is the right thing to do. Here is another way to illustrate: Policemen are taught to keep their gun in the holster as long as possible and solve all troubles some other way. But, the rule is, when the officer arrives at the point where he needs to pull the gun, he must shoot to kill, and shoot fast.

This is not a discussion of "self-defense" as such. We are talking here about a higher calling. We are talking about defense of your loved ones and the saints of Jesus Christ. You personally are not important here, but it is not a sin in the law of Moses to defend oneself. So, if you survive the defense of your family and the saints, so much the better. "Self-defense" is almost always a discussion aimed at justification of violence and arms. We want to see the men of God defend their families and the saints better, that is all.

The fact that we are under Grace and not under Old Testament Law does not mean that we are to let Satan's hounds devour God's children physically and do nothing. Read that again please.

Let me illustrate from the Word of God:

Numbers 25:6 And, behold, one of the children of Israel came and brought unto his brethren a Midianitish woman in the sight of Moses, and in the sight of all the congregation of the children of Israel, who were weeping before the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
7 And when Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, saw it, he rose up from among the congregation, and took a javelin in his hand;
8 And he went after the man of Israel into the tent, and thrust both of them through, the man of Israel, and the woman through her belly. So the plague was stayed from the children of Israel.
9 And those that died in the plague were twenty and four thousand.
10 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
11 Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, hath turned my wrath away from the children of Israel, while he was zealous for my sake among them, that I consumed not the children of Israel in my jealousy.
12 Wherefore say, Behold, I give unto him my covenant of peace:
13 And he shall have it, and his seed after him, even the covenant of an everlasting priesthood; because he was zealous for his God, and made an atonement for the children of Israel.

The Bible believer operates on an even higher plane then the "self-defense" advocates. He seeks peace at all times, and one way to find peace is to destroy the wicked. When a thief came to rob a Quaker long ago, he was counting on the Quaker's pacifism to be in place, and the robber thought he would carry off anything he wanted. The Quaker opened the door and put a musket in the robber's belly and said, "We aimeth not to kill thee, but me aimeth to shoot where thou standeth." The Bible does not issue a license to kill, but God DOES expect you to defend those he gave you in your family and the Body of Christ.

Phinehas used the javelin only once as far as we know, but God memorialized him forever for his zeal. Also, Phinehas was promised peace by God as a covenant to him personally. Defense of those you love, and the saints, is very popular with God. Phinehas did not kill a burglar-- he killed two adulterers. The plague was stopped by God, and thousands of people were saved from death. It would be biblically correct to kill adulterers, witches, and sodomites today just as much as it was in Phinehas' day. The only question is, "Who will do the killing?" If Caesar were doing it, we would not have a problem. The fact is, Caesar is an adulterer and a sodomite, or at least he promotes it.

So, we cannot solve all the issues of evil in the world in general. But, we CAN defend our own and the Body of Christ, AND we must.

Here is a Psalm which tells us which side we are on and who wins in the ultimate:

Psalm 64:1 Hear my voice, O God, in my prayer: preserve my life from fear of the enemy.
2 Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity:
3 Who whet their tongue like a sword, and bend their bows to shoot their arrows, even bitter words:
4 That they may shoot in secret at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not.
5 They encourage themselves in an evil matter: they commune of laying snares privily; they say, Who shall see them?
6 They search out iniquities; they accomplish a diligent search: both the inward thought of every one of them, and the heart, is deep.
7 But God shall shoot at them with an arrow; suddenly shall they be wounded.
8 So they shall make their own tongue to fall upon themselves: all that see them shall flee away.
9 And all men shall fear, and shall declare the work of God; for they shall wisely consider of his doing.
10 The righteous shall be glad in the LORD, and shall trust in him; and all the upright in heart shall glory.

Here is how David participated in the fulfillment of Psalm 64:

Psalm 18:32 It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect.
33 He maketh my feet like hinds' feet, and setteth me upon my high places.
34 He teacheth my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.
35 Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy right hand hath holden me up, and thy gentleness hath made me great.
36 Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, that my feet did not slip.
37 I have pursued mine enemies, and overtaken them: neither did I turn again till they were consumed.
38 I have wounded them that they were not able to rise: they are fallen under my feet.
39 For thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle: thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me.
40 Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies; that I might destroy them that hate me.
41 They cried, but there was none to save them: even unto the LORD, but he answered them not.
42 Then did I beat them small as the dust before the wind: I did cast them out as the dirt in the streets.
43 Thou hast delivered me from the strivings of the people; and thou hast made me the head of the heathen: a people whom I have not known shall serve me.
44 As soon as they hear of me, they shall obey me: the strangers shall submit themselves unto me.
45 The strangers shall fade away, and be afraid out of their close places.
46 The LORD liveth; and blessed be my rock; and let the God of my salvation be exalted.
47 It is God that avengeth me, and subdueth the people under me.

Here is how David applied it to Psalm 18 to a "good godly" Hebrew who had been faithful and then went bad and rebelled against David and Solomon:

David is telling Solomon to deal with several people just before David hands the kingdom to Solomon. Joab had been a mighty man, fought valiantly with David, and he had shown his zeal for Jehovah. There is no doubt he went to the bosom of Abraham when he died. But, his ravaging of the people of God resulted in his execution anyway.
1 Kings 2:5 Moreover thou knowest also what Joab the son of Zeruiah did to me, and what he did to the two captains of the hosts of Israel, unto Abner the son of Ner, and unto Amasa the son of Jether, whom he slew, and shed the blood of war in peace, and put the blood of war upon his girdle that was about his loins, and in his shoes that were on his feet.
2 Samuel 2:23; 2 Samuel 3:27
6 Do therefore according to thy wisdom, and let not his hoar head go down to the grave in peace.
Solomon had him killed, in spite of the fact that Joab ran and grabbed the horns of the altar (1 Kings 2). Joab's last ditch piety did not save him. When a demon possessed saint wanders back to the church house and asks for mercy or forgiveness, it is without a doubt the ploy of the devil in him. Have no mercy on him unless he asks to be delivered of the devil. When Jesus commanded us to forgive those who sin against us, He was not talking about forgiving a devil.

I have said enough. Go figure. But, do keep your powder dry, dear saint. Laodicea is getting deadly.
