So, what shall we do when we find a divider in our midst?

Jude 1:17 But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;
18 How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
19 These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.
20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
22 And of some have compassion, making a difference:
23 And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.

Jude instructs us to make a difference. When should we try to rescue a divider, and when should we ship them out the door double time? Perhaps this discussion will help with that question.

INTRODUCTION

The following may or may not apply personally to someone you know, but I assure you it IS happening right now in churches all over the world. In fact, if this sort of attack has not come against your local church, there is strong reason to suspect that your church is already demonized and not worth Satan's attention. This is why mega churches seem so placid and peaceful. They are dead already.

It is my intention, in this article, to expose YOU if you are a person given to causing discord and division in the local church. You will, of course, claim innocence, but you just may see yourself in this article, and if so, you are possessed of devils and need deliverance at once. If you have, according to you, had to change churches five of more times in recent years, YOU are in this article for sure. It is never too late to repent and confess your sin to the church.

If you are a young pastor, or you are new in a church experiencing the following attacks, feel free to Send E-Mail with questions. I have grown up in a pastor's home and on the missionfield. My wife and I have been missionaries, I have been a camp pastor, have taught in two Bible Institutes, and I have pastored four churches. I was thrashed in one way or another in every one of those areas of service. That simply goes with the job description, as it did in much greater measure with Jesus, Paul, Peter, and every faithful pastor in the past 2000 years. I also can say that I have had victory whenever I followed the Word of God and Apostolic teaching in such adversity. And, yes, I have been whipped a couple of times by human standards, but in retrospect, I know I followed God's Word. I would rather go over the wall in a basket IN God's will then keep my pulpit and know I am a sniveling wimp.

Don't let the wicked get the upper hand- Confront these attacks at once and with authority. Paul and John did. Woe unto you mealy mouthed pastors who worry more about the abundant offering than about defending the Flock of God. What use are you anyway? "Quit you like men," or just quit!

MALE OR FEMALE?

The emphasis in this discussion is upon women busting up churches. This is not because I have a case against women. The fact is, at this point in the Church's history, the vast majority of church splits are caused by bawdy women. If that bothers you, then you ought to run along and chase yourself. Having said that, we do deal with some very deadly men in this discussion.

Is there a reason why woman do the most dividing in the Lord's Church?

The answer is partly explained by our modern culture in which some men are lazy warts on the face of the Bride of Christ.

When modern men get spiritually weak and lazy they usually kick back, coast, and become banal cream puffs in the local church. They are dangerous because they can become a magnet to other men and young people to do the same. You really should ship them south just as fast as you do a divider. They seem harmless, but their wives are often the dividers. The wife is more conscious of her social standing in the local church, and if she has a dead beat husband, she can challenge authority and find ways to cause division without her couch potato interfering. This is my theory based on observation.

Someone will notice that the dividers in the Bible times were almost all men. The Middle Eastern culture long ago was male dominated, and it still is. Thus, men were more aggressive, even when they were backslidden or spiritually dead. The urge to conquer is deep in Arab and Jewish culture. We White Race people run hot and cold on conquest and tend to leave that up to our leaders..... like the good old boy in the photo.

So, who divides the local church, and how do they do it?

DIVIDING THE LOCAL CHURCH

PART ONE- The Manifestation of Division- Among the Membership

The People- As Divider

The vast majority of the time, those dividing the Lord's Church are women. It is uncanny how quickly a woman attacks the local church she attends (or a neighboring church) right after she rebels against her husband and/or gets a divorce. Later we look at the attack of Miriam and Michal against God's man. But, in our day, women's rights has been a large issue. Since World War II, after thousands of women went to work in factories, women have been destroying the homes and churches of the Western world as the principle dividers.

The rest of the world suffered also. Many missions which took the Gospel to "Third World" nations sent single women to do the work. These women, without exception, made confusion as they also won souls. They took authority because "no man was available to do so." The old big "faith missions" are the ones who boldly ignored the Apostolic admonition that a woman not take authority over a man, and those old mission leaders will answer to God for that in the judgment. For this reason, all over Africa and other developing nations, women are attacking local church pastors and dividing the Lord's Church. It is a spiritual epidemic, and the virus has passed from single aged missionary women to native women in the local church.

Women don't have a monopoly though.

There are men, like Diotrephes, who think they are so spiritual. These men dividers will not become pastors, but they gladly take over the pastor by threat and coercion. They will use their wives to start a whispering campaign, or they will encourage the members to starve the pastor out by withholding their giving. Then again, there are clever men with money who buy their pastor all sorts of toys, and send him on vacation, only to destroy him behind his back while the pastor imagines the man is his best friend. I AM NOT MAKING THIS UP. I SAW ONE MAN DESTROY SIX CHURCHES IN MICHIGAN WHILE I PASTORED THERE. These men desire to control people. They are too lazy to run for public office, but they see the Lord's Church as an easy touch for their aspirations.

There are also those dividers who come in for no other reason than to destroy. They come from local occult groups, powerful religious forces, or other churches who infiltrate in order to take over churches or steal their sheep. They are fat and lazy slow bellies who don't know diddly about winning souls, so they rustle sheep instead. "These are spots in your love feasts." They have special Dividing people who have a sort of calling to attend Bible believing churches and endear themselves to the people, then, after making a pretense of zeal, they attack from within. This is why Paul said, "Lay hands suddenly on no man."

 

A Leader- As Divider

The Leader we will discuss is the pastor who is in authority over the local church which the divider is attacking. He has the high ground biblically, and he should show no mercy in dealing with the wolf (or wolfette). It is important to understand that, while devils are never shown in the Word to take control of the spirit of a saint, Saul, a man who ended up in Paradise with Samuel, was possessed with a devil in soul and mind. God even saw to it for His glory.

So, a pastor must understand that ALL Satanic attacks must be squelched by any means possible and AT ONCE. The pastor is dealing with devils. Waiting is the temptation-- Hoping the thing will die. Preacher, it will NOT go away until you deal with it. Your leading men will probably all stand with you if you act suddenly and soon, but if you wait long enough, your leaders may well be poisoned by gossip and telephone sleaze. We see later how this works in the biblical examples below.

If the divider, especially a Jezebel type woman, is in another church and is attacking someone in your church, and if that other church has some reputation of being sound, go to the pastor at once and give him two choices:
One- stop the attack, Or
Two, you will expose him to his own people.

I once was double teamed by two good old boys in a town where I pastored in California. They had been poisoned by Bob Jones University by the philosophy of Bob Jones Senior in the art of destroying other churches and preachers in your neighborhood in order to rule supreme. They had been friendly to me, and I extended them the consideration that, "Charity believeth all things."

They betrayed my trust in them by telling their church members lies about me and about our church, which were twisted from confidential discussions with them. So, I spread the word among all believers in town as to their lies. They confronted me, and I told them they were liars, and I told them I would come and take over their pulpit on a Sunday morning by force and declare to their people their lies. I told them only the local Sheriff would be able to stop me. They backed off, and we later became pretty good friends. Ironically, after I had horse whipped them verbally, they told me, "You are just the kind of preacher we are looking for." They were without a pastor. I was horrified that they were church house sedo-masochists and craved a pastor who would bash they faces in, as it were. What a way to live with a pastor.

One last warning to pastors: Beware of leaders who divide you from the sheep. I saw this in southern Michigan where I candidated.

A retired preacher who was attending the church met with me privately and tried to take over my opinion, and turn me against the deacons of the church before I was even selected. I resisted this politely, so the retired preacher launched a rebellion in the assembly, behind the backs of the deacons, and turned many members against me before the church noted on my candidacy. The claims of the retired preacher were bold faced lies and fabrications.

I got 100% approval by the board and pulpit committee, and 60% of the congregational vote. I turned that church down because of the double division-- the people from the deacon's board, and the people from me before I even accepted the call. The deacons later asked to talk to me, and I told them what the former pastor had done. I had intelligence from a former pastor who said he had been driven to a heart attack by the retired former pastor. The deacons had no idea of this, and were astounded at what was going on behind their back. The deacons were enraged to learn that one former pastor had been driven nearly to death by another former pastor. They asked me what they should do. I told them to run the retired preacher trouble maker off at once, and suddenly, so that he could not meddle with the people anymore.

They ran the preacher off with extreme suddenness, and it worked, and they later called me to pastor that church. I had already accepted another church, so I declined. That church experienced a significant walk-out of a number of older adults who were owned by the retired pastor. The deacons made it known that they were delighted with the exodus, and the next Sunday 90 young marrieds returned to the Church who had been systematically driven off by the retired pastor. The deacons were horrified to realize that the former pastor was the reason their young marrieds had fled the church. FORMER PASTORS ARE DEADLY unless they take a humble posture in the church, leave the board, and serve in the ranks, not in the shadows.

Let me stress this again, and this is coming from a retired pastor of over 70 years..... If a former pastor stays on and attends your local church, and he shows ANY sign is dissimulation, that is, dividing the church and resisting the leaders, RUN THE BUM OFF, AND LOCK HIM OUT. Do not give him a second chance, even if he begs for it. The ONLY condition in which he may be allowed to remain in the church should be if he makes a complete confession before the whole assembly gathered and promises to break off all private communication with anyone in the assembly. Personally, I would run him off with no second chance. I have never seen a retired preacher, who is a trouble maker, repent..... EVER.

Another thing to note is this..... By the time you catch him, he will have already made a significant following, probably of older members. Retired preachers are masters at stealth for Satan. They have had many years to learn the tricks. Any of those who were in his following, and only if they complain and whine at his treatment by you, should also be dispatched out the door with him. Be careful though. Speak thoughtfully and mercifully with each of his followers, explain what happened, and let them know they are welcome to stay if they do not continue in communication with the trouble maker. He will try to use them to gain information about your church in order to stir the pot from afar. In the church above, the deacons did this, and several older members figured out that they had been seduced by a wolf, and they returned to the church and became very faithful members again.

The last I heard, the retired trouble making preacher, was running all around the General Association of Regular Baptists trying to turn preachers against the next pastor. From my experience in the GARBC, I expect a lot of those preachers were suckered in by the brat. Preachers love to hear the dirt on other preachers, especially Fundamental Baptist preachers. Fundamental Baptists are one of those rare species which devour their own.

 

Those "Outside"- As Dividers

There are those who are not from a local church anywhere. Their hobby is to move from church to church trashing people, pastors, and dividing the assembly. After the church is a mess, they move on and do it again. Years ago, this sort took over the church they attacked after running off the pastor. This new church terrorist is a Satanic infilrtator who destroys and keeps moving.

They are not born again and serve Satan 100% of the time. Every act in their life is dedicated and orchestrated to destroy saints and pastors. They are often washouts from Reformation churches where the lofty demons of John Calvin and Zwingli prevail. Meet them at the door, ignore their hundred dollar bill proffered in deceptive concern, and run them off.

I saw one man do this six times in twelve years, and last I heard, he had counseled ten couples in regard to their marriage and convinced nine of the couples to divorce. One couple he and his wife counseled in their bedroom while the couple was in bed.

There is often a sexual lust raging where there is a wolf "ministering." Read that again please.

There is one more "outsider" who is a divider. This is other pastors. Some pastors think they are called to straighten out all the pastors in their area. These dividers will always say a word of criticism about another pastor being discussed. They will fake compassion, or preface an attack on a pastor with, "We really all must pray for Pastor Smith," and then he will dump the dirt. This is clearly done in order to generate a following which these ecclesiastical dividers imagine will raise them up in the esteem of the masses. Avoid these men like a plague. So, the divider will attack the pastor of the local church first.

These men will befriend a pastor they intend to destroy, and the targeted pastor will think he is being helped, when in fact, he is being destroyed by stealth.

There are other agents of division which intrude on the Lord's Church from outside.

Christian Bookstores

These bookstores are about 99% profane and driven by profit and compromise to get the masses in. I know of alleged Christian bookstore owners who have launched vicious attacks on members of local churches to destroy their confidence in their pastor. Like school teachers are the dumbest source on the sciences, Christian bookstore managers are utterly dumb about theological and textual issues. They are full of themselves, and they will trash the zeal of anyone who disagrees with them. A faithful pastor will meet these vipers head on and step on their heads. Pound them until the squeal.

Music Groups

Here is how to divide your church in one weekend. Alleged "Christian college" music groups are perhaps the most efficient way a pastor can tear down the zeal and convictions of his assembly. I have seen the most narrow groups behave like beasts. This is because, again, they are full of themselves. College music group members hit the trail, and in just about three appearances, they realize they have power. Youth and adults from the local church consult spiritual babies from the Freshman class who are still wet behind the ears. If this dip head gives counsel contrary to the pastor, the intellectual source from the halls of learning may be trusted more than the pastor. I will not let one of these groups near a church I pastor.

We know of one music family in which the girls hate modest convictions, yet the father parades his family as Fundamental Baptist and KJV only. What a scam. A wise pastor will coach a couple of his mature youth to keep an eye on the kids in ANY visiting group, even the missionaries. If the kids of the visiting "ministry" are arrogant, filthy mouthed, or at once hustle girls from the church, your watchers must inform you at once, and you must run the whole mob off. SHOW NO MERCY TO JERKS WITH HORNS (musical, that is).

Finally, if you do have a music group in, ask them what songs they will be singing. For example, many groups love to sing "A Little Talk with Jesus." This song has Hindu imagery in it, and the fact that the group failed to catch it means they are spiritually dull. LEARN ABOUT THIS SONG HERE. Also, ask the leader of the visiting "ministry" to tell you why he thinks he is born again. If he fumbles around, run them off.

This is how "A Little Talk with Jesus" moves the wicked Gaither mob. If you do not get this, my dear reader, you need to SEND MAIL so I can rebuke you soundly.

Missionaries who Divide Churches

Here is how to divide your church with a missions conference. About 80% of all missionaries will cause you grief. They think they have a corner on wisdom, and in many cases, they do know about things the pastor has never heard of. But, rather than let the pastor know where they will be headed in various topics, they will spring things from the pulpit. They have an aura of authority with the assembly that the pastor does not have. This is based in absolutely nothing other than that they look different, they have a load of gongs and trinkets they set up to charm the people, and they may belong to some great mission board. The fact is, many missionaries are poorly educated, know little Bible, and on the mission field they live a lush life producing little spiritual fruit between furloughs.

Pastors should warn every missionary to behave himself, and let him know that if he creates a variance with the local church during a message, the pastor will either stop him and pitch him out of the pulpit, or the pastor will correct the errors introduced after the missionary is done speaking.

Also, beware of missionaries who divide the saints in a church by speaking against the pastor in the saints' homes. Some will simply listen to members who attack the pastor and fail to defend the pastor. This empowers the person attacking the pastor.

I know this happens, and there are missionaries who will actually take a side in a church divided and drive the engine of evil along until the church splits. These kind of wolves must be attacked at the highest level-- Their mission board and home church must be challenged to discipline them. If this fails, expose them on the Internet to the saints at large. Destroy them! Imagine what kind of animal farm they are creating on the missionfield.

Some clues that you have one of these divider missionaries--

They graciously demand to be served.
They show no zeal to help serve.
They won't raise a hand to help a little kid.
They demand to stay in a motel rather than in one of the members' homes.
They love to be honored and sit at the head table.
They brush aside new missionaries.
You will NEVER catch them soul winning in YOUR downtown.
They never carry tracts.
They are often overweight-- Slow bellies.
They have a low golf handicap.
They are experts at preaching up to the offering.

Any five of the above should make you see red, preacher. Also, ask to see in the trunk of their car-- See how many Bible versions they have. Most KJV only missionaries are NOT, and they will destroy a year's worth of teaching on textual issues with one comment!

The safest sort of missionary to support is someone who was saved, discipled, and proved his spiritual gifts and common sense in YOUR church. There is no need for a missionary to be a member of a mission board. Mission boards lie and cover up sin in the missionary on the field, and they will often assign any missionary you send them to work he is not prepared for just to plug a personnel hole.

The Little Green Man

Here is an instance where the divider is almost always a man. Why, I don't know. There are people who, when they even enter the room quietly, cause envy and discord to rise in conversation. Tempers heat up, and people get nervous, and the person causing this may say almost nothing. This is because they are not born again and are demon possessed.

I had a man like this in a church I pastored. I don't think he ever said much against me, and he was actually pretty generous to me. But, every time he was involved in any event, or after he visited anyone in the church, I knew trouble would follow, and it often had no personal effect on me, rather; on others. He had come from a Dutch Reformed church with his born again wife, and no one could recall if he ever claimed to have been born again. Somehow, through the mongrel device of democracy, he ended up on the church board and a deacon. He was entrenched. I could not get rid of him.

In a church we attended in Tennessee there was a man who hated Black people. Otherwise, he was generous and decent. The issue was that he bellyached about Black people at the church house in casual conversation. There was a White lady in the church who had had a baby out of wedlock with a Black man. The lady had repented and was totally preoccupied with Christ and wanted desperately to live godly and raise her kids to love Christ. This man made snide remarks about her to people in the church. The pastor was too obsessed with numbers and keeping the offering up to pitch the bum out the door. He was a big giver.

As a pastor, you must never allow this to happen. Every visitor must be held politely in a place of examination, and his heritage and salvation must fit the Word of God. If they cannot give a Bible based account of their life, pitch them right back out the door. Also, you MUST call his previous pastor and ask why he left the last church. Most pastors today do not make this essential biblical call, and they end up with horrors because of it.

There is one kind of woman who will divide your church. She is Lady Gush the Rush. This lady comes in with her mealy mouthed husband, and they usually are wealthy. They dress grandly, wear plenty of shining bling bling, and the lady is gushing about everything in sight. Everything to her is either "precious" or "anointed." She flatters the pastor, and she chats every so personally with other men, touching their arm and showing extreme empathy over anything that is troubling someone. She promises to pray for everyone she talks to if they mention any problem worst than a hang nail. This lady will introduce events, Bible studies, books, Bill Gothard, Charismatic TV stars, and every possible notion or object which will lead the sheep into the slough of despond and into wicked Christendom. If you are a pastor with any sense at all, you will give the lady and her husband a rush..... out the door.

Christian Psychologists and Psychiatrists

ALL of these people are arrogant church destroyers- no exceptions. They may mean well, but spiritually, they mean nothing. Their whole discipline is based on just over 300 specific mental disorders, ALL of which have never been proven to exist in a laboratory. Psychiatry is a medical discipline based on ghosts, and when you have a shrink in your local church, he will just have to help you understand various people and their problems. If you disagree with him one day, he will, at least mentally, nail you with one of his disorders in the big purple book.

There are two varieties of these church house shrinks.

The first is the truly professing Christian who may be born again. He took psychology in college, and he is trying to help Jesus fix people with mental problems, anxiety, depression, and many other issues. He claims to use the Bible, but his formal training was not in the Bible. When push comes to shove, he resorts to the big purple book, and then he contrives some Bible text to back up his diagnosis.

The second shrink who comes to your church is a godless creep who is simply looking for more business. He will tell you that he will be happy to take the difficult cases you have in your counseling, and he will promise to send them back to you after he has fixed them. What you will have if you go this route is an idiot who has not confessed his sin, and he will either be on psychotropic drugs, or he will be reading secular books on, "My condition."

How will this divide the church? The shrink will gain prestige as he seems to help people, and you church will soon be dominated by Sigmund Freud instead of Jesus Christ. Also, anyone who is seriously troubled may be possessed with a devil, and shrinks, even Christian shrinks, will not touch demon possession. They subdue the devil, and the victim, with drugs.

To help you understand how sick psychiatry is, here is one on all Americans:

ONE IN FIVE AMERICAN IS MENTALLY ILL

So, when you have a shrink in your local church, this man believes 20% of your congregation are mentally ill, and he may suspect you, pastor. The average pastor is very intimidated by mental health professionals because must of them are either consciously or subconsciously examining everyone they meet or are involved with. So, since psychiatry is not based on real science, and since the craft cannot cure the illness it foists on people, and since they can only give the victim powerful drugs, you have a man in your assembly who is committed to one of the most cruel hoaxes in modern life.

Is a Christian psychologist different from a psychiatrist? Yes. The psychologist cannot prescribe drugs, whereas the psychiatrist can prescribe and almost ALWAYS does. Both crafts are founded on the same lies and the (Mother Goose) Big Purple Book..

GET RID OF HIM.

So, why not use a psychologist or psychologist in your church counseling ministry?

I need to add to what I said above.

They are not based in the local church, and they detract, at best, from the counseling role of the local church pastor and aged women. They are given to a discipline which considers religion a form of mental illness, and they will not include Jesus Christ in their counseling for liability reasons. You must expose these baser sort so that you bring your Flock of the Lord to totally distrust them.

A fellow I knew went for help to a "Christian Psychologist." On the desk of the shrink was a big Bible, which the young man found comforting. In the course of counseling, the young man realized the shrink was wandering away from biblical truth in his suggestions, and the young fellow noted this politely. The shrink told him that he wanted to leave the Bible right there on the desk, and during counseling sessions, he did not care to open it. The kid fled, and he started a do-it-yourself plan for recovery. The young men is now more sane than the shrink.

If, and this is exceedingly rare, someone in your assembly has a genuine chemically driven mind problem, send them to a medical doctor at a medical center or hospital. This way, the things of the Word of God will be left to the pastor to add, while the medical people play with the chemicals. Medical doctors can prescribe any of the psychotropics that are of any use for a person with a real brain injury or disorder.

I had a man in a church where I pastored who was genuinely chemically in trouble in the mind, and he went to Scrip's Clinic. They helped him without trying to psych his personality into trash, and I took care of the spirit and soul part. It worked real well.

I had another man who had a stroke and lost his ability to work for a period of time. He could work hard for about three hours, and then he had to flee the scene. He was of the old fashioned Dutch work ethic, and it about drove him nuts to not be able to work a regular job like he did before the stroke. He went to a shrink, and the creep told him to get a mistress. Since then the man simply worked out a protocol of ways to do work, drink coffee, ride in his pickup truck, then back to work, and actually keep his mind in pretty good repair. He can do quite a lot of short term work, and he has stayed with the Word of God and his wife for his ethical issues.

Cut such people lots of slack, give them lots of spiritual hugs, and AT LEAST you will save them thousands of dollars in counseling and drug costs. But, keep them away from the dividers at Wee, Shrinkum, and Howe.

Women who Divide

So far we have pretty much been talking about men who divide the Lord's Church. So, we must give the ladies equal time, for some of them have certainly earned it.

The most deadly woman in the local church is the middle to senior aged lady with a wee little house husband who is worthless as tits on a boar hog. She drags her little husband along to church, but he sits quietly and amounts to nothing. The lady then goes into the business of taking charge of the church, and she will eventually divide it and run off the young marrieds.

First, she will volunteer for some task like Sunday School teaching. Soon, she will have taken over, and the Sunday School superintendent will have given her absolute power over all decisions. She will then take over the youth of the church. If the church has a youth pastor, she will attack him with gossip and lies, and he will soon be fired. She will "volunteer" to run the youth group until another youth pastor is found. She will then inform the pastor that she needs to sit in on church board meetings because she is running the youth ministry and Sunday School. The pastor, by this time being terrified of the nag from Hell, will let her.

The ugly thing about this picture is that so many men in the local church are worthless louts, merely warming a pew, and that poorly. Thus, the pastor may have mixed emotions about this lady. While he will be terrified of her, he will be pleased that some things in the church seem to be running well because of her.

She will then start helping the pastor be a better pastor by instructing him in how he should conduct Sunday services, what music to use, who should play the piano, and so forth. This is all done by the stealth weapon of CREEP. By that, I mean that she will not foist herself on the local church in a sudden way. She will wait for each conquest to be launched until some part of the church program is limping, mostly from lack of leadership.

What is Satan trying to do in all of this?

Answer: He is trying to make all the men into lazy pansies, including the pastor. And, I have seen many of these in my years growing up and serving the Lord in church ministries.

What is the solution to this?

Answer: To you pastors..... when a new couple come to your church, and you can see that the wife does all the talking and is bawdy, while the husband is a mealy mouthed wall flower, get ready to slap it down at the first opportunity. The woman will do or say something, sooner or later, that is clearly a case of self-exaltation, manly judgmental speech, or a play for power. Say something like, "Dear lady, that is the sort of thing I should hear from your husband, not you." This will probably bring down wrath on you at once, and in that case run both of them off right there. Show no mercy my friend.

But, there is also the sly alpha she-wolf. She will actually thank you for the admonition and agree with you. She will then use her husband to get to you in some way, and he will seem to be very loyal to you. Meanwhile, she will start a campaign to destroy you behind your back while pretending to be totally submissive to you. She may also try to catch you in a honey trap in order to destroy you.

Proverbs 7:6 For at the window of my house I looked through my casement,
7 And beheld among the simple ones, I discerned among the youths, a young man void of understanding,
8 Passing through the street near her corner; and he went the way to her house,
9 In the twilight, in the evening, in the black and dark night:
10 And, behold, there met him a woman with the attire of an harlot, and subtil of heart.
11 (She is loud and stubborn; her feet abide not in her house:
12 Now is she without, now in the streets, and lieth in wait at every corner.)
13 So she caught him, and kissed him, and with an impudent face said unto him,
14 I have peace offerings with me; this day have I payed my vows.

This is a very godly dedicated lady, pastor. She pays her vows, that is, she tithes, and she gives offerings on top of that. What a great Baptist! Is you got good religion sista? Certainly, pastor, and off you will go, meeting alone with her, to discuss some church program or need. She will then share some personal issue with you, and of course, whatever you tell her, she will tell you later that you totally solved all her problems. Gush Gush Gush, and a pat on the arm, then a hug, and then..........

15 Therefore came I forth to meet thee, diligently to seek thy face, and I have found thee.
16 I have decked my bed with coverings of tapestry, with carved works, with fine linen of Egypt.
17 I have perfumed my bed with myrrh, aloes, and cinnamon.
18 Come, let us take our fill of love until the morning: let us solace ourselves with loves.

If you are one of our Asymmetric Christian Warriors, and if you see a woman rising in power and influence in the church you attend, ask the pastor at once why he is allowing a woman to take power away from the men of the church. If the pastor puts you off with some lame explanation, like, "Don't worry, I have her well under control," rebuke that pastor soundly. Tell him he must be in control because the Holy Ghost would not hand leadership in the local church to a woman. Be sure to do this when no one else is around. Do not make him feel attacked..... only rebuked in love.

Now, if the pastor starts giving you the cold shoulder, you have two choices:

One- Leave at once. There is no hope for that church, and the pastor is probably already in bed with her, or he will soon be destroyed by her.

Two- Destroy the woman's power base. Find ways to disrupt her strategies, and this means you must do some serious intelligence gathering. You need to know where she and her husband came from last, that is, what church. Did she destroy that church or run that pastor off or seduce men in that church? Call her former pastor, and tell him your pastor is being attacked by the woman and will not defend himself or the church. The former pastor may very well tell you exactly what makes the woman tick. This information can then be opened up to people in your local church until it forces the pastor to take action. The ideal tactic will be if the pastor never learns you did the operation. You do NOT need credit for anything. Simply serve the Lord by destroying this Satanic woman.

The most deadly woman is an older woman who has the demonic power to run over the top of anyone. We have one near us here in Texas. She will often have a second woman to help her run the show. You can spot this woman by her motor mouth. She takes charge of any group she is in, even when visiting another church other than hers. Any pastor worth his salt will run this woman off as soon as he gets even the faintest proof of this personality. These older woman destroy pastors. That is their specialty. A sane pastor will not accept a call to a church where an older woman is in charge. They need to be handed over to Satan for destruction. Any way you can help people leave such a church and find a real New Testament local church, do it.

 

PART TWO- The Motivation of Division- The People Rule

Motive A- Guilt

Woman attack the local church and divide it because they are living in sin. The sin is often sensual, either sexual sin and adultery and lesbianism, or they are out of control in taking care of their bodies. A woman who has had an abortion and never repented will always be a pain in the posterior to everyone dealing with her, especially a church and pastor who preaches that abortion is murder.

This can be complicated if the woman's husband is also unfaithful, handicapped, a criminal, or a workaholic. These women are frustrated because they cannot get sexual satisfaction, and they attack the rest of the world. Since the local community would send them into court for attacking them with slander, these women attack the local church from within, all the time banking on the fact that saints are not allowed to sue saints.

These women dividers are often anticipating that they will soon be exposed for what they are, so they hope to drag all the rest of the saints down to their level so that they will not look so bad. This is particularly the case where a women is in adultery, or was so in the past, but has not yet been caught. This also applies where a woman is thinking of divorcing her husband, or has even threatened to do so. She needs to trash all the women who know her so that she will not look so bad when she finally divorces the man. In this light, the husband will do little or nothing to stop her if he wants to stay married to her. If he tries to stop her from dividing the local church, she will divide his home instead.

The most effective way to reduce saints to depravity is to cause their church to divide. The divider will not stop the attack until there is a church split or they are run off.

It must be noted here that there is often a spiritually superior lady, in the eyes of this guilt ridden woman. This other woman, though she may be a sweet saint, is a perpetual threat to the divider. This is particularly the case where the superior looking woman has indeed sinned in the past, but she has confessed it and found victory. She has done what the divider will not do, so you can see the envy and hate motive. The divider will find all manner of technical reasons why the other woman's sin remains on her. This, of course, is the opposite of the admonition to forgive and cover a multitude of sins. Eventually, if she cannot find sin in the other lady, she will start a campaign of lies on the phone or in email to dirty the other lady.

The church attacked by the divider may not be her own church-- if, that is, the other woman being attacked is in another church. The divider will attack the woman and the pastor of the other church. The pastor of the divider will not do a thing about it because he gives aid and comfort to devils in order to preserve his small world.

This causes discord between two churches, and the pastor being attacked should raise the level of hostilities until the thing is wide open and he stands on higher ground. There is no place here for mercy. The home Flock comes first in such cases. We need to understand that there are "good godly Fundamental Baptist KJV Only" churches which are in the lap of Satan. Walk circumspectly.

[ Time Out: Again, this is a lot about women dividers. In Western culture, and in other nations which have adapted to Western ways, the greatest trouble makers in the Lord's Church are women. This is not my idea-- It is simply how it is. Very few men do the things I am talking about in this section of this article. Men have their problems, but they are more brazen sins which destroy the home more than the local church. ]

Motive B- Spiritual Pride

Most women dividers who attack the local church do so out of pure hate for another woman in the church, or in a neighboring church. They may be jealous of the liberty or victory of the woman targeted for attack, or they may be inferior in some way. This divider will cast aside all the love and consideration the other woman may have given her, and the divider will ignore the other woman's friends and family who may be a real blessing, and she, the divider, will risk all in order to destroy. This is often driven by devils, and it can end in insanity. I have seen it happen to one woman who ended up in a mental hospital. Another woman actually targeted a number of saints who had helped her and her handicapped husband over the years. This attack was beyond definition and seemed to be associated with Satanic pride, or hidden sexual sin.

Some woman dividers who attack the Lord's Church do so at first out of genuine concern. They see sin in a certain member, and they may even care to some degree. The divider's wicked sin, worse than any sin they see in others, is that they disobey Christ's admonition to go to the one allegedly offending and rebuke them alone. This dissimulation will run amuck and turn into judgment, and then the momentum cannot be stopped until the nagging divider herself stands in front of the assembly and confesses her sin of judging and dividing the church.

Often the woman divider will see that her judgment and attack on another woman might look catty and sinister, so she will attack the pastor for allegedly not preaching against the sin she identified. Moses was certainly a man given to certain sins, but God took Moses' side in the showdown between Korah and Moses. These women dividers who attack pastors don't understand that God has chosen men, NOT women to lead His Church, and God chose the divider's pastor, and not her wimpy husband. If this kind of divider does not receive chastening from God for her careless attacks, she is not born again. It is as simple as that, for "whom the Lord loveth, He chasteneth."

Any pastor worth his salt will run this kind of supercilious self-righteous twit off, along with her punisimous husband, at the first opportunity, AND without so much as a vote or discussion. Sudden action is all these wolfettes understand. You say, "Should we show mercy?" I say YES- to the Flock of God which has not offended. Deliver them of this beast.

Motive C- Infiltration by Satanists

This is like the one above, but it is by witches and Satan worshippers. Also, men are just as common as women in Satanic intrusion and attempted division. It is no less deadly than others, but it is not nearly as common as converted witches and Satanists claim-- those alleged experts who travel the church route and claim to know Satanism and witchcraft well. They are usually being very dramatic. About 90% of all church troubles are caused by sinning saints-- "An inside job" if you will. Nevertheless; a wise pastor will check ALL people who come into the local church, and if their background is strange of nonexistent, he will hold them at arm's length for some time.

Motive D- Upside down Marriage

The most helpful man to Satan, in the Lord's Church, is the pabulum sucking little man who is tough on the job and a wimp at home. His wife takes care of all spiritual things, and he ignores her nasty behavior at the church house. He does not dare rein her in for she would threaten him. One woman threatened to divorce her husband or put him in a nursing home if he stopped her church busting career.

Pastors must give no quarter to this dividing team, especially if it comes from outside the local church family. It is of devils. The dividers' claims of defects and sin in the local church, or in other saints' lives, may even have some basis in fact, but those defective saints are YOUR Flock, preacher. You better defend them if you don't want God to chasten you.

I had a call one day from a woman in a nearby city. She assured me she was trying to help me understand an issue in the church I pastored regarding one of the ladies in the church. Now, I knew that the lady she was discussing did, in fact, have issues. But, the woman calling me was not in any way involved in our church. The accusations were vile, even if they were based in some fact. So, I blasted the caller and told here not to call me again, and never come near our church or I would run her off on sight.

By the way, this kind of divider woman, who takes control of her husband, will do virtually anything to stay on the throne of her home, even murder her husband. So, you do NOT want to pamper this sort of thing. You could end up with a TV reporter shoving a microphone in your face and asking, "Where were you, Reverend, when this woman was doing her thing?"

Motive E- Stupidity

One fellow came to me and wanted to know what to do about his church. He was about as sweet and dumb a fellow as you would ever want to meet. He was known as a man void of guile. Well, Satan had grabbed hold of this guy's innocence and was fanning it into rebellion. I talked the guy into letting the Lord work through his pastor in spite of his pastor's seemingly strange ways. Last I heard, all was well. Don't be too rough on these good old boys. But, don't let them just coast, for Satan will make perfect fools of them, and maybe YOU too, preacher.

 

PART THREE- The Method of Division- Satan's Little Helpers

Method A- Whispering

The Bible calls it murmuring-- "Gonguzo" from which we get "gong"- "sounding gong and a tinkling cymbal." This is the most effective way to destroy a saint and a local church. The divider makes selective visits, especially on the phone, with gullible fools who give place to gossip. They think they care, but they don't understand that they are being used by hell itself to destroy Christ's Church.

When a pastor hears of a whispering program going on, he must understand that it has NOT just started. I have learned the hard way that when I hear about it, it is almost too far along to stop. The divider is a master in destruction, and if it is a lady, she has all day to work her scam while the men are at work. Guess who she has poisoned? All the women in the assembly. Guess what her "concern" is? Another woman's sin and, "The pastor won't deal with it. Why, do you suppose.....?" Preacher, if you like your calling and the church you pastor, you better move very quickly to save it.

If you have a man whispering, understand this-- He is a very sinister wimp. It is not the nature of men to whisper. A real man will confront another man to his face and have a showdown in the flesh, but at least you know where the chips are falling. A man who whispers, with a view to destroy saints and churches, is always under the control of his wife, or he is a queer.

Let me stress again, often the object (victim) of the divider's attack DOES have real problems. We will discuss this in the account of Moses and Korah later. But, the pastor and church must NEVER take up with the divider merely because the divider has successfully identified real sin in the person the divider is attacking. This is only a ploy used by the divider who does not care a hoot about the personal victory of the one attacked.

This is always true when a pastor is attacked. I think that the cheapest kind of attack is that from a member of one local assembly against a member of another local assembly. Shrinks and mental hospitals love these people, for they are stock in trade for insanity cures by and by. These sort of dividers ought to be publicly identified and denounced, and their pastor rebuked openly. The pastor of a divider should be treated like arsenic among the local pastors' fellowship.

Grant you, I want to go on record right up front. If someone in a church I have pastored, or ministered in, wonders where I stand on such an attack on a local church and any of its members, whether the attack be from within or without, I stand with the pastor and with those being accused and faulted. This article is here, in part, to set the record straight in this regard.

Method B- Confrontation

This is the method used by men who attack the local church. They will challenge the pastor at every opportunity, and they will break up every business meeting. They will call secret meetings and create committees and quorums with a view to boldly divide the church.

When a woman confronts the local church publicly, the pastor or a leading man should rebuke her and the devil in her. She is demon possessed every time-- no exception. I don't care what the topic of discussion is. That is absolutely beside the point. She is supposed to be under authority, and there is no possible reason for a woman to stand in the assembly and confront even a child.

My advice is, run her off with no alternatives.

As usual, there may be an exception. An older woman may speak out of turn in an open meeting time with some sort of rebuke or seeming confrontational words. The question is, is this way out of character for the lady? Is she really a godly woman of high esteem? If so, you as pastor need to get with her, along with your wife, and learn what caused her to break with her usual restraint. Something may be very wrong in her life, and she just snapped. In such a case, patience is needed as well as help with the problem the lady is having.

Method C- Attack from the Community

This is a blessing. IF you have not sinned, all the attacks from the community are jewels in your crown. However; pastor, you better keep an eye on the feely feely folks. They will catch the attack of the community the worst. Satan knows who is weak and wimpy in your assembly, and he will see that they are attacked for being "unloving." You must both rebuke and encourage them as you teach on persecution. Eventually, the feely feely folks will see themselves as worthy of being attacked, and they may even learn to pitch the attack right back as a rebuke to the sinner who is avoiding Christ.

Again, the community can divide churches. It is not common, but I have heard of it. So do not ignore it. An attack by the community could be a very handy opportunity to a little green man.

Method D- Zeal run Amuck

Can zeal divide the church?

Yes. In New England I stayed in a home of a fellow who attended a church I was speaking in for a missions conference. This guy really wanted a deeper life in the Lord, but he was so preoccupied with it that he was starting to look for reasons why there was no revival in his church. He liked his pastor, but he was convinced that his pastor was not zealous enough for revival. I rebuked the man in love and told him to look for revival in his own life and home. He seemed to understand, but I don't know how it turned out. I did warn the pastor to keep an eye on the man.

It is always good to built up the zeal of the men in the Lord's Church, but be sure it is done in a spirit of love, and start with, "me first." Revival that is genuine should start in ME. Anything else is counterfeit and can bring division.

 

PART FOUR- The Man in Charge of Division-
Correct Response by Church Leaders

The Pastor-

1 Corinthians 16:13 Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.

"Quit you like men." Jesus told Peter to feed His sheep, and that is what you will be doing most of the time, preacher. But, there is a time when the lion or wolf (or wolfette) will be coming over the wall, and you are a hireling if you do not go first, and quickly, into the battle to defend the Flock of God. You should be horse whipped if you cower in your office, as in, "I have email to answer."

When Jesus was about to leave the disciples and return to Heaven, and just before His death on the cross, he told his disciples, in Luke, "get a sword." Why? Answer: He would not be with them physically, and they would need some way to deal with lawlessness of a social variety. This implies that Jesus defended them while they were with Him. The saints in the local church MUST know that their pastor is their defender. The men must know that their pastor will defend their children and wives if a husband dies or is incapacitated.

How will they know this?

Answer: AFTER you first skirmish with the wolf in defense of the saints.

A lady in our assembly, whose husband went to work every day, came home early in the morning after some chore she did for someone, and as she got out of the car to go into the house, she realized a man was hiding behind a sled standing against the garage wall. She went quickly into the house and locked the door, and she called me.

I called the Sheriff, and he said he couldn't get there for an hour. I told him I was going right down to the house and search the woods for the man. The brave Sheriff (?) told me not to take a gun. I told the wimp I would not only take a gun, but I would use it if I got any kind of excuse. I never found the filthy creep (a peeping Tom was caught shortly after this event nearby), but I knew I was in the right place.

The Sheriff never showed, and I am pleased to report that I didn't need to decide what to do with the shotgun, but the event did go well with the lady's husband.

Preacher, you don't get to plan these things-- They are the result of how you think on the peaceful days-- How you define who you are in Christ.

Preacher, those men in your church will cut you a lot of slack when you do something dumb or step on your tongue, but ONLY IF you are manly and a defender of the Flock when it counts.

A divider is just as dangerous as any enemy there is in the Lord's Church. The ATTACK by you must be by instinct based upon doctrinal truth-- No time to think is needed.

We attended a local church here in Texas for a while in which the pastor was a real defender. The church used the meeting hall of a retirement village, and he placed the podium so that, as he preached, he had a clear shot at the front door. In the podium he kept his Ruger 9mm.

This man was not a pulpit pounder. If you ARE, keep the safety on please.

The Leading Men- Take notice

Many leading men think it is their job to find a good pastor, and then let him go on down to the OK Corral and have all the gun fights with Satan. This is WICKED! When there is a wolf at the door, YOU be there and stand with your pastor. You know there are times when the pastor just doesn't know enough about the thing. You have lived in the community for years, you know the catty and cheeky wolfettes who make trouble most of the time. How about taking the lead? Ask the pastor if you can have a round in the battle. Offer to take a couple of other leading men and go confront the enemy head on. This is especially appropriate if your pastor is up in years. The younger bucks should talk with the enemy in the gates.

Psalms 127:3 Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
4 As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.
5 Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.

You may fault me for using another context to teach here. I think not. If you happen to have been won to Christ by your present pastor, YOU should be only too eager to defend him and the local church against the enemy, especially a divider.

Many dividers count on the leading men to be timid, and they are often right. Recall how the dividers got to Peter because he didn't go inside the court with Jesus. He waited just a little too far away, and the devil attacked him and defeated him. It is about time the Lord's Church show some zeal in ALL of its leaders. And, the real test will come when the divider is your brother's wife, right?

Fathers in the Home

You think you are the head of your home, but you sit by like a dead mackerel in the moonlight as your wife trashes person after person in the local church, and in nearby churches. You know what they say about mackerel in the moonlight don't you-- it shines and it stinks. You, sir, are a wimp. And, you will have dividers and trouble makers for children and possibly for grandchildren. And when they run out of people to trash, they will start on you in your old age. I have seen it happen more than once. If that is what you want, just have another cup of coffee and a piece of jelly roll as your wife spends another evening on the phone blasting the saints.

Pastors who are Migratory Birds

Revelation 18:2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.

These are the "every filthy bird" gang who leave on cue when the divider calls. The most amazing scene is when the divider is a lady, and some good old boy hog slop preacher, who claims to have zeal for souls etc., walks out of the Lord's Church with the divider woman. This is how cults get started. What a small disaster you are sir, for you have lost all authority in your home. The church needs you like they need a tornado. Either repent and take charge of your wife, or get on down the road.

What Satan loves about the Walking Divider, especially if he is the pastor, is that it creates intense discouragement among the saints. One preacher I knew personally walked off after he was caught bedding down six women in his church. He was a leader among pastors in the area and was carelessly referred to by other pastors as, "the John MacArthur of the Middle West." The comparison died at once when he did what MacArthur has never done to his wife Patricia.

But, the impact of a walking preacher is deadly on the local church. They are a laughing stock at the barber shop and the cafe round table, but worse, decent unsaved people in the community will jerk their kids out of Sunday School at once. Men in the church wonder if their daughter or wife were hustled by the preacher. The impact of a adulterous walking preacher can leave a local church limping for up to twenty years.

What to do if you have a walking preacher:

Burn all his tapes or DVDs, and let the congregation know that all his preaching has become totally suspect. Destroy all physical reminders of the preacher. Set up a council of a couple of aged pastors in the area who have a spotless reputation, along with two aged men in you assembly who are wise and were not close to the pastor, and ask them to examine every leader in the church, Sunday School, bus drivers, and all other leaders of anything. This must not be kept secret from the congregation. Be sure to instruct this council to examine nothing but the connections of the leaders in the church with the pastor. What you are looking for is a deacon or elder who was socially far too cuddly with the pastor of his wife. You will find that the mere announcement of this council will cause certain leaders and members to flee. DO NOT CHASE THEM DOWN THE ROAD.

It might be wise to follow the work of the council with an interim pastor, an aged man with a spotless heritage, for up to three years. This pastor will be asked to preach and teach your local church into a renewed and high regard for the holiness of God-- no other preaching goal but that. All those who abandon the church during this interim period should be allowed to run along and not return. Keep up your zeal for soul winning, but beware of fornicators and adulterers from the community who will imagine that if they attend your church their sexual sin will be overlooked.

BIBLE HISTORY DIVIDERS- Example One- Korah

Numbers 16:1 Now Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, and Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On, the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, took men:
2 And they rose up before Moses, with certain of the children of Israel, two hundred and fifty princes of the assembly, famous in the congregation, men of renown:

These were good godly men who crossed the Red Sea with Moses. They were noted as good men in Israel, and they had convinced the masses that they were good men. They were even ordained to the ministry! Every third man I met when we lived in Roane County, Tennessee claimed to be "called to preach." Korah would have loved Tennessee.

3 And they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said unto them, Ye take too much upon you, seeing all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the LORD is among them: wherefore then lift ye up yourselves above the congregation of the LORD?

"We are just a spiritual as you are." Did you ever hear that before? A divider will accuse a zealous preacher of taking too much authority on himself, no matter how godly and humble the man is.

4 And when Moses heard it, he fell upon his face:
5 And he spake unto Korah and unto all his company, saying, Even to morrow the LORD will shew who are his, and who is holy; and will cause him to come near unto him: even him whom he hath chosen will he cause to come near unto him.
6 This do; Take you censers, Korah, and all his company;
7 And put fire therein, and put incense in them before the LORD to morrow: and it shall be that the man whom the LORD doth choose, he shall be holy: ye take too much upon you, ye sons of Levi.
8 And Moses said unto Korah, Hear, I pray you, ye sons of Levi:
9 Seemeth it but a small thing unto you, that the God of Israel hath separated you from the congregation of Israel, to bring you near to himself to do the service of the tabernacle of the LORD, and to stand before the congregation to minister unto them?
10 And he hath brought thee near to him, and all thy brethren the sons of Levi with thee: and seek ye the priesthood also?
11 For which cause both thou and all thy company are gathered together against the LORD: and what is Aaron, that ye murmur against him?

Now, consider please. This Moses killed an Egyptian, he failed to circumcise his son and nearly got killed for it by God, Moses couldn't organize the Israelites and had to be helped to do so by his father-in-law, Jethro, and Moses struck the rock when he was told not to, and eventually, Moses didn't get to enter the Promised Land. Korah was right. Moses was to be faulted. Just one problem-- Moses was God's man.

Also, please note the caution you must exercise when lifting men to leadership. You MUST have leaders other than yourself. Some preachers think they can run the Lord's Church as a solo ministry. That is wicked. But, when a deacon or elder is needed, the pastor and other leading man must select that man, NOT THE CONGREGATION BY DEMOCRACY. It is wicked that in modern Christianity many of you people think that God "brings men near" to leadership by the mongrel device of democracy. This was NEVER done in the early church.

I have experienced the chaos of democracy as it was used before I took a church in Michigan. They had run off six pastors before me in violence, and I slipped away just before the boot in the rear. The problem was, that church had chosen their deacons by democratic process, and the result was one bitter angry old man, and an unsaved Reformed Church man, on the church board. They were only cured by a rough on rats Baptist leader demanding they hand over their church constitution, and he sent them the man of his choice. He was a Titus, and he hammered them into a New Testament local church.

12 And Moses sent to call Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab: which said, We will not come up:
13 Is it a small thing that thou hast brought us up out of a land that floweth with milk and honey, to kill us in the wilderness, except thou make thyself altogether a prince over us?
14 Moreover thou hast not brought us into a land that floweth with milk and honey, or given us inheritance of fields and vineyards: wilt thou put out the eyes of these men? we will not come up.
15 And Moses was very wroth, and said unto the LORD, Respect not thou their offering: I have not taken one ass from them, neither have I hurt one of them.
16 And Moses said unto Korah, Be thou and all thy company before the LORD, thou, and they, and Aaron, to morrow:
17 And take every man his censer, and put incense in them, and bring ye before the LORD every man his censer, two hundred and fifty censers; thou also, and Aaron, each of you his censer.
18 And they took every man his censer, and put fire in them, and laid incense thereon, and stood in the door of the tabernacle of the congregation with Moses and Aaron.
19 And Korah gathered all the congregation against them unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and the glory of the LORD appeared unto all the congregation.
20 And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,
21 Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment.
22 And they fell upon their faces, and said, O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin, and wilt thou be wroth with all the congregation?

Moses was not looking for revenge, though he sensed that Korah had to be dealt with, for he asked no mercy for Korah. Pastors and church leaders have to understand that there are filthy birds roosting in the assembly who pretend to be godly but must be judged and dispensed with. Ezekiel 44:23-24

23 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
24 Speak unto the congregation, saying, Get you up from about the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram.
25 And Moses rose up and went unto Dathan and Abiram; and the elders of Israel followed him.
26 And he spake unto the congregation, saying, Depart, I pray you, from the tents of these wicked men, and touch nothing of theirs, lest ye be consumed in all their sins.
27 So they gat up from the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram, on every side: and Dathan and Abiram came out, and stood in the door of their tents, and their wives, and their sons, and their little children.

NO FEAR! Do you see what you are dealing with in a divider of the church? The divider feels powerful as he and his mob of church house Mafia form a battle front against God's chosen leader.

28 And Moses said, Hereby ye shall know that the LORD hath sent me to do all these works; for I have not done them of mine own mind.
29 If these men die the common death of all men, or if they be visited after the visitation of all men; then the LORD hath not sent me.
30 But if the LORD make a new thing, and the earth open her mouth, and swallow them up, with all that appertain unto them, and they go down quick into the pit; then ye shall understand that these men have provoked the LORD.
31 And it came to pass, as he had made an end of speaking all these words, that the ground clave asunder that was under them:
32 And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods.
33 They, and all that appertained to them, went down alive into the pit, and the earth closed upon them: and they perished from among the congregation.

They went to hell! "Good godly men" went to hell!

Do you understand what this means? We are not teaching here that you can lose your salvation. Rather; what this tells us is that Korah and company were not Old Testament believers. And, you may well have some in your church, and they will be first to step forward and divide the church-- good godly men-- and they are hell bound as sure as the Pope is.

We also see that nothing will do, in dealing with such high octane dividers, than a showdown at the OK coral. Just be sure that ONLY GOD DOES THE SHOOTING, preacher.

34 And all Israel that were round about them fled at the cry of them: for they said, Lest the earth swallow us up also.

It is about time some folks caught a little fear in the assembly! The fringe benefit of a showdown in a public setting is that, after God has rendered the verdict, the local church comes under fear. The question then remains, are they in fear of God, or are they in fear of YOU, preacher. If they only fear you, you have totally failed and should leave the ministry at once. You are a Jackboot.

35 And there came out a fire from the LORD, and consumed the two hundred and fifty men that offered incense.
36 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
37 Speak unto Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest, that he take up the censers out of the burning, and scatter thou the fire yonder; for they are hallowed.
38 The censers of these sinners against their own souls, let them make them broad plates for a covering of the altar: for they offered them before the LORD, therefore they are hallowed: and they shall be a sign unto the children of Israel.
39 And Eleazar the priest took the brasen censers, wherewith they that were burnt had offered; and they were made broad plates for a covering of the altar:
40 To be a memorial unto the children of Israel, that no stranger, which is not of the seed of Aaron, come near to offer incense before the LORD; that he be not as Korah, and as his company: as the LORD said to him by the hand of Moses.

Preacher, are you saved, or are you a Korah exercising the office of priest as a vocational preference? At no time in the history of the Lord's Church have there been so many unsaved preachers in the pulpits. I am convinced that Satan's helpers, unclean spirits and devils, have abandoned much of the occult witchcraft and the New Age, and these devils have inspired young men to enter Bible colleges and seminaries, finish with honors, and go forth to pastor Bible believing churches and wreck them. These have to be the most deadly dividers in the Church Age.

What blasphemy, and some of you silly folks have gathered around their tents in holy indignation. How dare anyone question your pious pastor, right? Fear God, and run from these pretty boy preachers like Rick Warren and Joel Osteen. And, there are also a mob of pretty boy preachers in Fundamental Baptist and Bible Church assemblies.

41 But on the morrow all the congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron, saying, Ye have killed the people of the LORD.

They'll do it every time. The board of a church I pastored rebuked and ran off a couple who were blaspheming the assembly, and we all thought the board was unanimous. One old deacon came up to me the next Sunday, and with lower lip trembling, said, "I had to get out my book of members and write 'excommunicated' over their name." He was enraged at me for the unanimous board decision, and he was on the board. U-huh- go figure that out. Well, he got home from the board meeting and Mama got out her verbal whip and thrashed her husband. I bet a few Jewish Mamas got in the last lick the evening before Korah's big day. What do you think?

42 And it came to pass, when the congregation was gathered against Moses and against Aaron, that they looked toward the tabernacle of the congregation: and, behold, the cloud covered it, and the glory of the LORD appeared.
43 And Moses and Aaron came before the tabernacle of the congregation.
44 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
45 Get you up from among this congregation, that I may consume them as in a moment. And they fell upon their faces.

You sure cannot say Moses had an ugly spirit. He kept begging God to have mercy on these babies. How about us? Are we willing for God to have mercy or rebels in the assembly? We must protect the Flock of God, but if some event will "atone," and the divider is made to repent, will we take them back in the spirit of meekness?

46 And Moses said unto Aaron, Take a censer, and put fire therein from off the altar, and put on incense, and go quickly unto the congregation, and make an atonement for them: for there is wrath gone out from the LORD; the plague is begun.
47 And Aaron took as Moses commanded, and ran into the midst of the congregation; and, behold, the plague was begun among the people: and he put on incense, and made an atonement for the people.
48 And he stood between the dead and the living; and the plague was stayed.

Some of you preachers have a congregation of the dead and the living, right? Can you at least thank God for the living? Will you cry out to God to have mercy on them?

49 Now they that died in the plague were fourteen thousand and seven hundred, beside them that died about the matter of Korah.
50 And Aaron returned unto Moses unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and the plague was stayed.

And the preacher didn't say, "I told you so." Who could feel good after burying 14,000 of the congregation. Watch your emotions preacher! Those are sheep, not cabbages!

BIBLE HISTORY DIVIDERS- Example Two- Miriam and Aaron

Numbers 12:1 And Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married: for he had married an Ethiopian woman.

"Moses married a nigger woman!"

Now, there is a capital excuse to rebel against the preacher-- Interracial marriage! That would fly in nearly any Fundamental Baptist church in the USA, right? But, you preachers need to take notice also. When you make snide remarks about couples in town who are interracial, or when you refuse to allow them to attend your local church, you are guilty of the same sin of Miriam and Aaron. Here is what God can do to you.....

2 And they said, Hath the LORD indeed spoken only by Moses? hath he not spoken also by us? And the LORD heard it.

"We are just as good as you are, preacher." You know, it is amazing that Korah saw this, yet in chapter 16 we saw that he used the same logic. Does that tell you something about our perverse sin nature? It is NOT eradicated, and it has to be crucified daily, or it will come back to life and we will believe any fool lie.

3 (Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth.)

There is how you get ready for war preacher. This warfare is NOT with flesh and blood, but with spiritual powers (Eph 6), so don't waste your energy strutting your power before the saints. It will only cause God to make you a "castaway." Now, you may resist the devil, and you should kick the Pope, but stop promoting yourself before the sheep. This is a Fundamental Baptist disease. But, it is in many other groups, such as Pentecostals, AOG, and Bible Churches. Who cares how many busses you have on Sunday morning? The devil may be riding shotgun on every one of them! Huh?

So, when you decide to degrade someone else in the Body of Christ, based on your special position as a pastor or institutional guru, you are right in line for the wrath of God. To Hell with your resume. What can you do in the next hour to exalt Christ and serve a saint? THAT is you work, and do it humbly, and God will reward you.

4 And the LORD spake suddenly unto Moses, and unto Aaron, and unto Miriam, Come out ye three unto the tabernacle of the congregation. And they three came out.
5 And the LORD came down in the pillar of the cloud, and stood in the door of the tabernacle, and called Aaron and Miriam: and they both came forth.
6 And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream.
7 My servant Moses is not so, who is faithful in all mine house.
8 With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the LORD shall he behold: wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?

You dividers seem to have no fear. How dare you speak against your pastor? So, he has sins, and he has faults. He is GOD'S man, not yours.

9 And the anger of the LORD was kindled against them; and he departed.
10 And the cloud departed from off the tabernacle; and, behold, Miriam became leprous, white as snow: and Aaron looked upon Miriam, and, behold, she was leprous.
11 And Aaron said unto Moses, Alas, my lord, I beseech thee, lay not the sin upon us, wherein we have done foolishly, and wherein we have sinned.
12 Let her not be as one dead, of whom the flesh is half consumed when he cometh out of his mother's womb.
13 And Moses cried unto the LORD, saying, Heal her now, O God, I beseech thee.

So, you don't care to deal with that man who married the Black lady. Well, God can take your Anglo Saxon White skin and put it in the Intensive Care Unit of the local hospital. THEN, you will remember your hate for colored people.

This is the same Miriam who lead Israel in singing songs of deliverance after the crossing of the Red Sea. Some of you dividers think that some past victory you had in Christ is sufficient to carry you through your present war on the saints and the pastor of your assembly. WRONG honey! You are a leprous sinner in God's eyes, and the rest of your life will be as one dead. You will have NO spiritual victory from now on unless you repent.

John Calvin got so big in his own eyes that he decided to declare Servetus a heretic and burn him at the stake. Servetus was in error on a doctrine to be sure, but this was no excuse for Calvin to murder the man. Calvin even ordered up green wood so Servetus would die very slowly. Calvin ended up losing the confidence of all his Reformed friends, he wrote a pamphlet on why he had to kill Servetus, and he spent the rest of his life diddling his days away in mediocrity. The Reformed Church to this day leans on this unsteady man, and their zeal shows his same mindless attitude and arrogance.

14 And the LORD said unto Moses, If her father had but spit in her face, should she not be ashamed seven days? let her be shut out from the camp seven days, and after that let her be received in again.
15 And Miriam was shut out from the camp seven days: and the people journeyed not till Miriam was brought in again.

It is very clear that Miriam was humbled and repented. We don't hear of her again jumping on the back of God's man. A divider can NEVER be restored without repentance and being humbled publicly. Read that sentence again please.

BIBLE HISTORY DIVIDERS- Example Three- Michal

2 Samuel 6:12 And it was told king David, saying, The LORD hath blessed the house of Obededom, and all that pertaineth unto him, because of the ark of God. So David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obededom into the city of David with gladness.
13 And it was so, that when they that bare the ark of the LORD had gone six paces, he sacrificed oxen and fatlings.
14 And David danced before the LORD with all his might; and David was girded with a linen ephod.

Now, David was not "naked" as we think of it. He was later accused of uncovering himself while dancing. He was clothed, but he was naked as to his royalty, for he was down to a type of everyday garment sort of robe worn by commoners. David might have even been a bit overheated in God's eyes, but this was a day of supreme victory-- He rejoiced to see the ark in its place of power and where Israel could again expect to see the Glory of God come down. A little shukin' and jivin' was in order. You know, I have a lot more patience with a Black church, getting a little worked up, than a dead head Anglo Baptist Mortuary in full dirge, or a gang of those hungover Whiskeypalians moaning the invocation. LIKE THIS

15 So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the LORD with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet.
16 And as the ark of the LORD came into the city of David, Michal Saul's daughter looked through a window, and saw king David leaping and dancing before the LORD; and she despised him in her heart.

Oh how holy! Why wasn't this spiritual giant of a woman down yonder along the path doing the joy cry with the rest of the ladies? La La La La La La! That was the custom for the ladies in Israel and still is. If she was so worried about her husband being admired by the ladies, she should have been down there with him. What a wimpette!

17 And they brought in the ark of the LORD, and set it in his place, in the midst of the tabernacle that David had pitched for it: and David offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before the LORD.
18 And as soon as David had made an end of offering burnt offerings and peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD of hosts.
19 And he dealt among all the people, even among the whole multitude of Israel, as well to the women as men, to every one a cake of bread, and a good piece of flesh, and a flagon of wine. So all the people departed every one to his house.

"What a day! And now, let's go home and celebrate with my family. This will be the greatest day spiritually of my reign-- We will drink the sweet and eat the fat. Oh what a day this will be! Honey, I'm home....."

20 Then David returned to bless his household. And Michal the daughter of Saul came out to meet David, and said, How glorious was the king of Israel to day, who uncovered himself to day in the eyes of the handmaids of his servants, as one of the vain fellows shamelessly uncovereth himself!

Mockery is the favorite tool in the hands of a confrontational woman in the assembly. A woman did this to me one day in the church house, then she walked out, taking her submissive husband and family with her. Within weeks, her daughter had to get married to save face morally. Hmmmmmm.

21 And David said unto Michal, It was before the LORD, which chose me before thy father, and before all his house, to appoint me ruler over the people of the LORD, over Israel: therefore will I play before the LORD.
22 And I will yet be more vile than thus, and will be base in mine own sight: and of the maidservants which thou hast spoken of, of them shall I be had in honour.
23 Therefore Michal the daughter of Saul had no child unto the day of her death.

And, in this case, there was no mercy. There is, sometimes, "Hell to pay."

If you are the pastor of a church where a bawdy and mocking woman hangs out, you need to run her off. These woman rarely repent, and they crave the power to divide the church into warring parties. They have a variety of emotions and inner rage driving them along, and you cannot stop and take the time to go through all their back history to find the cause of their rage and hate. If such a woman asks to repent and be forgiven, she must do so in a public gathering of the local church, and she must submit to counseling by one of the older godly women of the church. This counseling must go on for months, maybe years.

BIBLE HISTORY DIVIDERS- Example Four- Diotrephes

3 John 9 I wrote unto the church: but Diotrephes, who loveth to have the preeminence among them, receiveth us not.

If the "good godly" potentates won't receive you preacher, don't be discouraged. This dude didn't fear an Apostle. These raging waves have no fear. The first sign you have a Diotrephes is that some man in the assembly will clearly shows he craves exaltation. If you exalt him, you are on your way out the door. He will destroy you, and it matters not how he flatters and fawns over you now.

I am not implying that all leading men in the local church have to be slobbery puppies panting to enslave themselves to the pastor. A godly man will have a team spirit, and he will be manly in his manners. But, when a man starts pushing and shoving, he is deadly and must be run off.

10 Wherefore, if I come, I will remember his deeds which he doeth, prating against us with malicious words: and not content therewith, neither doth he himself receive the brethren, and forbiddeth them that would, and casteth them out of the church.

John, the loving Apostle, is promising to give this man a thumping. There is a time to wade right into it and use the scourge of thongs. And, don't waste the feeding time of the sheep trying to preach the jerk out the door-- Throw him out physically, or he will divide your church down the middle.

11 Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.
12 Demetrius hath good report of all men, and of the truth itself: yea, and we also bear record; and ye know that our record is true.

Don't ignore the faithful and loyal sheep. Praise them in their fruit, DO NOT fan their ego, but do show them as examples to other saints.

BIBLE HISTORY DIVIDERS- Example Five- Satan

Isaiah 14:4 That thou shalt take up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and say, How hath the oppressor ceased! the golden city ceased!
5 The LORD hath broken the staff of the wicked, and the sceptre of the rulers.
6 He who smote the people in wrath with a continual stroke, he that ruled the nations in anger, is persecuted, and none hindereth.
7 The whole earth is at rest, and is quiet: they break forth into singing.

As with Lucifer, so with his servants. After you send a divider away, no matter how much you wanted them to have victory and stay, you will have peace, and calm will settle over the assembly which you had no idea was missing.

8 Yea, the fir trees rejoice at thee, and the cedars of Lebanon, saying, Since thou art laid down, no feller is come up against us.
9 Hell from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming: it stirreth up the dead for thee, even all the chief ones of the earth; it hath raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations.
10 All they shall speak and say unto thee, Art thou also become weak as we? art thou become like unto us?
11 Thy pomp is brought down to the grave, and the noise of thy viols: the worm is spread under thee, and the worms cover thee.
12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

Here is the model for all dividers. They are self-exalting folk, no matter how spiritual they try to appear. Their zeal is for self.

13 For thou hast said in thine heart,
I will ascend into heaven,
I will exalt my throne above the stars of God:
I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds;
I will be like the most High.

The serpent in the Garden told Eve she could be like God. People still believe this, and they go to church to prove it. They live for the day they are consulted and pampered with requests for their opinion and consultation. If you don't give them their godhead, they will try to take it by force. Remember, the fruit was "good to make one wise." Many TV and radio preachers are thought to be wise. This then is nothing new-- That wise lady, or dude, working the corners of the foyer, is simply taking the throne and headship of Christ in His Church. Thrash him soon and soundly.

15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
16 They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;
17 That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?

"It ain't over til the fat lady sings." The end is coming to every prideful program, and it may very well be in hell. There is not reason to assume dividers are born again. If they are, they will repent or be chastened by God. If neither happen, then we may assume they are headed for hell. They are worthy.

Now, Jesus comments on the fall of Satan, who is Lucifer above.

Luke 10:18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.
19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
20 Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.

There is no reason to hesitate in standing against the wicked divider, whether they attack from within your assembly, or if they attack from another assembly nearby. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

And, preacher, are you worried that they may take a bunch of people with them when you pitch them out the door? So what? God knew that one third of the angels of heaven would side with Lucifer, yet God dumped them all out at once. No one in heaven was wringing his hands.

And again, virtually no one, including your friends in the scholars union, or your church treasurer, should come into consideration by you when it is time to put the hammer to the divider. Do it now, or you will watch your church be destroyed, and you will be run off.

CONCLUSION:

It might be wise for you pastors reading here to require all your deacons and mature godly men in your assembly to read this article. I have invested much of my experience growing up in a pastor's and missionary's home, along with my own experiences in the mission field and pastoring four churches. I did not invent any of the content above. These are real threats, and you can usually avoid the deadly ending if you act suddenly upon seeing clear indicators of a divider at work.

1 Corinthians 5:3 For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,
4 In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,
5 To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
6 Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?
