QUIETNESS WITH WHOLE SCREEN PICTURES
....OF GOD'S CREATION

The graphics had to be dropped. I will soon replace them.

Park here when you go to lunch.

Each photo below has a musical link with it. I suggest you open a window to play the music and a second window to watch.
This is because Internet Explorer stupidly sends you away to a player window. Minimize the window for the music. For the
linked music selections, shut off the MIDI music. Credit to Joy Hardin for the MIDI music.

Hit F11 on the window to enhance view. These photos are sized to fill the whole screen. Enjoy :-)

Southerner Saints Practicing for the Marriage Feast of the Lamb
Courtesy of Courtesy of the Atlanta Sacred Harp website of Georgia

We have a peculiar notion of what the Marriage Feast of the Lamp will be like. Our Lord sat in the homes
of publicans and sinners eating and drinking with them so much that he was faulted by the high and
mighty ecclesiastical leaders of his day. Jesus dipped the sop with the disciples and served them
breakfast by the lake. He served a feast of "dinner on the ground" of fish and bread. I believe the
Marriage Feast will be of the sort that simple saints around the world would eat when they gather in
Christ's name and fellowship in feasting they love with friends they love.

For King David, a flagon of wine and a "goodly piece of meat," and for the Sacred Harp singers, well, take a look.....
Fried chicken, mandatory, and notice that bowl of butter beans. Chili and greens fresh from the garden of life.
Best of all, abundance, for our Lord gives most abundantly:

Titus 3:5 (KJV) Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he
saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
Psalms 103:5 (KJV) Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.
Nehemiah 8:10 (KJV) Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions
unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of
the LORD is your strength.
John 7:37 (KJV) In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst,
let him come unto me, and drink.

THERE IS ONE ARTIST WHO NEVER NEEDS TO SIGN HIS SIGNATURE :-)
He did this one in Carrizo plain, in the Temblor Range, about 50 miles due west of Bakersfield, California.

MY MOUNTAIN
I grew up looking at this mountain every day
Mount Longonot on the left, and Kijabe Hill on the right. I climbed both.

I am getting very little mail from this section of our journal.

I would dearly love to hear from anyone who stops here and
is blessed and helped. You need to believe that there is NO
section more important to me, in this journal, than the Quiet Place.
